The "Login | FAQ | RSS | IRC | Fap" line is incongruent with the rest of the page. Looks like a wordpress page.
The drop down search menu doesn't fit the background of the search bar. What is that background supposed to be anyway? Crystal flakes? Bathroom tiles? What does that have to do with shimapan? You just picked the colours from the logo and threw some garbage texture over them. It also doesn't fit with the violet bar with the column names. That one has a smooth gradient. What is this supposed to be, a paper band on the bathroom floor or what?
Neither of these fits the solid colour white and grey-blue.
There's also problems with functionality. Like another anon said above, category after torrent name is weird and makes little sense. Type --> subtype is intuitive. It also has the advantage of familiarity, inertia over from nyaa.
The old category icons don't fit this theme at all by the way.

The idea of removing it isn't because Nyaa is hated and fuck him, it's just that there's no point in keeping it. Successors of the site don't have to have the same name, especially when there's already nyaa.si. Also yeah, nyaa.pantsu.cat takes too long to type. Short URLs are great.

Consistency with what? If the whole design is going to be changed, why would one need to retain the SIZE? I can understand the height part, it aligned with the line height, but the width? It's more reasonable to convert it into additional space for a file name.

Shouldn't the biggest priority not make the main site fully functional and more appealing?
Sukebei is just a secondary priority in my eyes. Plus once the main site is stabilized, it will be easier to move on into Sukebei.
But hey, this is just my point of view. Fact of the matter is, plenty of people have already started to use the .si version because this offers a much more clean and less cluttered layout, in which you can browse through all the torrents in a daily basis without this process seeming like a complete mess as it currently is on pantsu.
This whole race thing is fucking ridiculous. Specially once you consider that Jaka, Herkz and co. will never desist.
You should have always focused on making your site more appealing and stable from the start and people would eventually choose it as their primary choice, because of that. Not because ohysraws started to upload there first, and now even they fucked off to .si.
Bottom point, don't just add in the new layout version.
Remove this ALPHA / BETA version you have now completely and implement a proper stable version where everything functions properly as it should while also looking clean and appealing.

The items next to the "50" are all relating to things that sort results, so obviously the 50 must be related to the results.

It's just that the other options don't make sense. Why would you pick a round number (I'm assuming it jumps in 5's or 10's) to limit your search regarding file size / number of downloads / seeders / etc.? That would be incredibly awkward. You might see those options in an advanced search, but then they would come with upper and lower bounds.
