Received my custom poster today. After ordering a few in the past, this is the first time I'm a bit underwhelmed. For some reason the colors have a greenish hue and some of the background detail like the smoke got destroyed.

What's your worst /csg/ related experience?

Fishing anon here, doubt anyone remembers me from days of old but whatever, I bring news.

My Zoom H5 recorder arrives Thursday, for those that don't know this is a professionally used (Well it was, Sony Pictures previously used them but it is an older model now) piece of sound engineering equipment and will help me immensely. However, it can help you also.

With the H5 I will finally be able to answer the question of the efficacy of Phantom Power on the BM-8000 (Internally identical to the BM-800), the H5 itself connecting directly to the BM-8000 via XLR socket and being able to provide phantom power in steps of +-0v, +12v, +24v and +48v. The testing I perform and record will finally and unequivocally prove without a doubt if phantom power if required for correct use and just how much it alters the performance.

I'm doing this because some confusion still exists around the phantom power requirement and while testing has been performed I do not believe it has been done to the standard I will be able to provide.

Some short review on the Rock Zircon.

Its tip is shit. Unfortunately I did not bring an extra and I felt lazy enough to not go and get one.

It's kinda ok, nigbass is there, mids are kinda not as crisp (?) as Hybrids and Piston 3 Youth. Highs are ok. Probably because of ill fitting tips but meh *shrugs dick.

I bought it for less than $5 so it's ok. I probably won't buy it for $10 since I'm a cheapskate but it is better than Eiaosi X6.

Some thoughts on the Eiaosi X6.

It has bass, it's mids is muddled/ garbled, it has meh highs but if you listen enough you'll eventually go 'can't be helped' and just deal with it.

I also used a diverse selection of World of Tanks bgms to test them. Explosions and engine sounds are nice.
