You need to be seeding 1 or 2 TB on AB to get decent upload.

On a 100mbps upload from my home desktop I get around 20GB uploaded per day with ~2.5TB seeding over 200 torrents.

exactly. I'd advise you to look at the show and see which groups did 1080p. If most good groups only did 720p and only some shit groups like a-S and DHD did 1080p, it's probably an upscale. Try to go with ANE, THORA, UTW, FFF when available

speaking of coalgirls (a few hours ago), i feel like people hate on them for all the wrong reasons.
there's a lot you can say about them but "the filesizes are big" isn't really a valid complaint with the cheapness of storage these days except for a few standout appallingly sized releases from them (dennou coil, gosick, etc). basically anything done by tenshi, dude should just stick to doing remuxes if he likes that much bloat in his encodes. aside from that, the only thing i really can say is ever wrong with their releases is that they use flac (which is definitely not a problem unique to them) and that it can suck when they have the only decent blu ray release for a series and it comes from a fucked up source that they never ever attempt to fix. i guess the niche of transparent anime encodes (for better or for worse) should be filled, but it also sucks that they can't have a reputation for perfect quality like that considering what a mixed bag their releases can be (mostly their older stuff being bad with stupidly low bitrates and fucked up colors). i like them nonetheless and have a lot of their releases archived.
