Not sure what private trackers are all about?
The mission of /ptg/ is to promote the highest possible standards of tracker service by providing members with opportunities for professional development, by recognizing technical competence through examinations and by advancing the interests of its members.
Check out the wiki and update it yourself if you want more instead of complaining like a fucking faggot. https://wiki.installgentoo.com/index.php/Private_trackers

Remember the following:
>staff occasionally read these generals and have posted here before.
>staff may pretend to be normal users asking for invites and when you invite them, they ban you for inviting strangers
>people may report emails and other personal info posted here to staff to get you banned.
>most of the invite offers here are people trolling you with false hope - begging for invites is a waste of time and you should just interview
>tfw drizzy, cara, bronyfaggot, and angry reddit guy are all dead
>tfw you miss how things used to be
>tfw you can't go back in time and re-live the golden era of /ptg/
Here's a recommendation for AB FL.
>try to lurk a bit
>get really uncomfortable by how fast the conversation is moving
>multiple conversations going on at the same time makes it almost impossible to know what the fuck is going on
>people claim IRC was comfy
You know what's comfy? Right here.
Is it worth it buying 3-4x4tb HDDs for easy overlord on BTN? Is there any of these 39 autists lurking here that could tell us what's on their forums?
I'd actually do it because I love TV shows and anime.
The only retarded thing is the amount of snatches you need. Grabbing 5 seasons of one tv show that's 1080p could easily be 100-300gb alone, but would only count for 5 snatches.
And you can't upload for shit since everyone and their mothers have bots+scripts that auto upload directly from the scene.
I have close to zero interest in getting buffer on AB. Madokami is better for manga and I only watch 1 seinen series every 3rd-4th year or so. So easy to get buffer on that site tho.
>easy to click 18000 times
>click another 18000 times to put them in your torrent client
>hope your client/router/pc can handle all the connections
To really enjoy AB/anime you'd need a NAS of at least 32TB of space.
Well, that's the only way for easy snatches, as the other options require upload, or... snatch bigger files?
The other, fast way [not the easiest] is to upload weeb shit [not easy, but not hard either]
Visual novels? I've only played a handful myself and Starless is the only hentai one.
Steins;Gate & Saya no Uta are at the top of my list.
Are you a newfag? Want to get into more private trackers? Have you read the links in the OP already?
Ask some questions and I'll try my best to answer.
(Feed a newfag and he'll eat for a day, teach a newfag how to private trackers and he'll eat for a lifetime)
Is that really how i'm remembered?
Oh, no, I've been on 4chan for about 10 years too. I'm just kind of tired of how shit /ptg/ has become and I'm trying to salvage it, gotta be worth a try, right? If we can get newfags to learn and understand how shit works instead of being elitists then we'll generate more wealth as a community.
s-sorry...I went back and was reading archives from old threads back in Septembera and October and someone mentioned you as bronyfaggot so I just went with it.
>tfw I miss the old days
Why can't things stay the same? ;_;
>If we can get newfags to learn and understand how shit works instead of being elitists then we'll generate more wealth as a community.
Meh, i'd rather go back to invite trading like in the old days of /ptg/. This shit is too boring.
Damn, that's ass.
Well FYI I still post here all the time, I'm just not a big avatarfag. I sort of let my """""""""popularity""""""""" get to my head and did it too often. Now I don't post with my Connies.
To be fair, I am a nor/mlp/erson and I still do watch the show, but I hate being associated with bronies. It's like saying everyone who watches anime dresses up like Sasuke and has a leaf village headband. In general there are almost no bronies on /mlp/.
Nah, i remember you.
You were always posting the cartoon girl when the cara nigger and mcadamsbro were posting their avatars.
Then some guy called you out and you started posting the shopped pic of the girl being mad and red like a pepe.
Okay, here's a few questions:
What notable private trackers have you been a member of? Have you been a member of the ultra epeen ones like DB9, Pedro's, Exigo, etc.? Are they worth it?
Is h4h a meme and does it really track "leaked info"?
Based on what you know of the steps private tracker sysops take to protect themselves, are cabal trackers going to be busted one day and all their users compromised?
Are the ultra super sekrit trackers like hmmmhm, FSC, WDMA sites and the likes worth it? Do they contain anything interesting you can't find elsewhere?
Ever got involved in newsgroups? How do they compare to torrents?
Yeah that one.
>implying i'm on irc with a bunch of niggers who constantly talk about their 3ds consoles and their shitty seedboxes
Cara I'm not sure. I don't even know if he ever posted in IRC, but Drizzy still posts here I thought? I haven't really been monitoring these threads well since December.
Effy poster is also a wagecuck (like I will be soon ;_;) so his time is occupied, but he still comes to IRC and I suspect he still posts here.
It is against the rules. Hence I stopped doing it a long fucking time ago. I'm not so new as to think that my faggotry is a special snowflake faggotry that is tolerated.
If you see someone posting with a ton of Connies just report them. But it's not going to be me.
>obnoxious retards posting with avatars
>talking about shit that has nothing to do with private trackers
>conversation that could be taken anywhere but here
Of course avatar/circlejerking fags would deflect any shitposting towards them by telling them to go to "/b/".
>Cara I'm not sure. I don't even know if he ever posted in IRC
>mfw people (even you old queers) didn't work out Cara's secret identity
>obnoxious retards posting with avatars
Just that one waifufaggot.
>talking about shit that has nothing to do with private trackers
You mean like the faggotry that has been going on for the past 10 or so threads?
>conversation that could be taken anywhere but here
Same could be said about the rest of the faggotry that gets posted here that doesn't have shit all to do with trackers, yet you cock smoking cucks don't complain about it because it's the shitposting you enjoy.
All in all, kill yourself. I'm all for telling avatarfags to fuck off, but don't sit here and pretend like they're cancer or something, when this general has been shit for the last month or so, anyone pretending otherwise is just a shiteating faggot that's part of the problem.
The only reason I use torrents is to download Linux distros.
I'm not going to say you're right, but you're not exactly wrong. But the real truth is you only feel that way because you're finally on all the trackers you want. When I was a newfag and just starting out /ptg/ was almost like the only thread I browsed. Now I'm literally on every tracker I could possibly want, so now it just seems pointless as fuck. The problem is majority of these faggots don't know how to quit anything because their NEET pieces of shit, so instead of going about their life, they stay in the thread shitposting, being elitists to everyone else that's just starting out and that's why the general is so fucking cancerous now. The whole "it's always been shit" is just faggots blowing smoke out their ass, just like how everyone says 4chan /b/ or whatever has always been shit or was never good.
Yes, they actually exist. They have little activity and look extremely curry though. They usually occupy small weird niches like cosplay, "lifestyle", that sort of thing. There's also one for hardcore feminist sjws with women studies literature and textbooks etc.
The only good thing that came out of these sites was the class-restricted nude forums but due to a recent leak on a large French forum they have all sort of locked down and require proof of female gender as an additional condition to access these forums. A shame.
Let's make it the HDB thread.
1. We talk about HDB.
2. They shut down the tracker.
3. HDB KUKKS come crying.
4. They start begging for invites to AHD, which is as we all know the GOAT tracker.
5. We laugh.
I've been out of the thread for a little bit, but yeah I used to Pilky post with you a while back. I'm sure there's at least one other semi-regular.
wew lad 4got pick
I actually miss the old /ptg/ threads on /tv/, even shitposting and elitist posting was funny there even though i wasn't even on any PT back then.
So many yiffy niggers were getting triggered.
Well they aren't called "nude forums" you retard, they are forums where girls post pictures of their passable 5/10 selves with few clothes and get showered in compliments by other users like in a literal hugbox. A fair amount of them happens to be nude as well. In any case they're all closed now, unless you can prove to staff you actually own a vagina.
Sure thing m8.
>hello sis, could you take a picture of yourself with your tits in evidence and a small piece of paper with the current date on it?
>why? errr it's for a research project for a friend of mine
>implying it's THAT easy
When I did my WCD interview I had to turn on my webcam and do a full 360 so they could see my entire room and they also had to meet my parents. I doubt you could just use a timestamp of your sister to get in.
>implying incest is wrong
>Okay, here's a few questions:
>What notable private trackers have you been a member of? Have you been a member of the ultra epeen ones like DB9, Pedro's, Exigo, etc.? Are they worth it?
"Worth" is entirely subjective. Most of those level 10 trackers have some appealing features to specific people. For most people it's not worth the time. I got into DB9 just because I have a friend who is a DJ, I randomly talked to him about private trackers one day and I invited him to some other trackers in return for an invite. I have no interest in what goes on there and let my account go inactive.
>Is h4h a meme and does it really track "leaked info"?
I don't know much about what goes on there but it's definitely real.
>Based on what you know of the steps private tracker sysops take to protect themselves, are cabal trackers going to be busted one day and all their users compromised?
I don't have enough information to make an informed statement on this. What I will say is that the so-called "cabal" trackers appear to take it extremely seriously and have learnt a lot from what has happened to other trackers that have been busted in the past. I was on OiNK, I used it with a standard home connection in the UK, no VPN or anything, and I never received any letters. I think consumers who don't upload much have virtually nothing to worry about no matter what happens. However, that being said, take steps to protect yourself if at all possible.
My sister and I are very comfortable with eachother. We literally don't give a shit and we've seen eachother naked plenty of times.
No it's not what you think :^)
We ask eachother favors for money all the time, and I already asked her to pretend to be female in some online games so I could get freebies.
Meh, personally I dont see a problem if it's consenting and there is no chance of procreation (someone is sterile or using birth control).
However, society, and most siblings, would not find it acceptable.
>Are the ultra super sekrit trackers like hmmmhm, FSC, WDMA sites and the likes worth it? Do they contain anything interesting you can't find elsewhere?
Same answer as I gave for the first point. I'm not in any such tracker and wouldn't consider spending any effort trying to get in. If you can't find a sufficient summary of what kind of content to expect on a site then I wouldn't even bother thinking about it.
>Ever got involved in newsgroups? How do they compare to torrents?
Newsgroups used to be the way to go but the top tier private trackers have outstripped them in just about every way, quality, quantity, ease of use, and download speeds are all unparalleled.
No you don't understand. For instance, there's this site about weird Japanese fashion (fruits, decora, that sort of crap) that tracks e-learning videos, tutorials, magazines, etc. When you first register you HAVE to introduce yourself and post pics of yourself wearing these clothes in the relevant fashion or whatever. Unless you are willing to buy that crap and tell your sister to dress like pic related so as to infiltrate small communities filled with cosplaying weirdos and pirate japanese fashion videos, it's simply not feasible.
cont. Different sites have different policies. The feminist one (I don't know if it's still up) has a very detailed application form and you are expected to be very knowledgeable about the history and feminism, its ideologies and divergences and history like who is Dworkin the difference between TERFs and SWERFs, how you position yourself in the feminist spectrum, who is your favourite female thinker and why, etc. Reportedly they accept males and non-feminists but I've never seen that happen, ever. I only got in because my SJW ex vouched for me at the time.
Probably. I dated a SJW who was an admin at the time, she'd let me use her account lel.
Because she'd know instantly it'd be me, and frankly there was little to wreck. Plus another girl was into me and I got gf shortly after, so it's not like I got butthurt or anything.
so my transmission on my seedbox gets "Could not connect to tracker" on all trackers 80% of the time. But I cant find an error log or real information about this issue. Anyone knows what to do?
Boring shit, really. E-learning, magazines, weird TV I had never heard of like "My Mad Fat Diary", etc. Loads and loads of videos of people doing boring crap like dressing in different fashion styles. Some anime, manga (these communities are often full of weebs), J-pop too. The usual girly stuff like fashion and make up tutorials, recipes, cookbooks, more conventional elearning like music, art, math (!), history, philosophy, etc. but also lifestyle, self-help books, the kind of stuff you'd expect to find on seduction sites, but aimed at a female audience. I tried to take a look at one of these books, the kind of advice they give is depressing.
What does this have to do with Private Trackers?!?! STAHP BLOGGING!1111!! YOU'RE ONLY ALLOWED TO TALK ABOUT PRIVATE TRACKERS OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE LABELLED AS A /b/ TARD!!111!! STOP BLOGGING!!!! YOU ASK THIS QUESTION IN LE PRIVATE CONVERSATION!!!!!!!!!!1111
>2006 was 10 years ago
If it's Feral that's par for the course with them.
10yearfag are there any trackers you still want to get on? What was this shit like 10 years ago, when did seedboxes start getting really big on trackers?
Favorite tracker? Old anons always get me curious.
How many trackers is too many?
I'm thinking of doing an interview for this tracker but I don't want them saying I'm a "collector" and this is the most frequently asked question.
I don't understand these Nazis.
Main tracker for the content you want.
Backup tracker for that one (usually only needed for Music/TV/Films).
And then the rest like JPOP/32P/IPT
Don't be like that guy who has 38 trackers on here.
I have like 20, would that be considered collecting?
I can't exactly go to tracker I don't use anymore and ask them to close it.
It usually goes like this: shitty tracker as stepping stone > semi good tracker > the top 3 cabal > super rare ones like HDbits
And then there's trackers that goes p2leech or turns curry-tier in the span of a few months/years, then finding replacements for those. Over the course of years you'll end up like me, 20+ trackers minimum.
I'm debating between letting my account die or not after i get an AHD account, i can't get buffer cause of my shit speed unlike on PTP where it's easy as pie for me and AHD is pretty easy too.
Shit even on places like CG it's way easier to get buffer, TehC's economy is plain retarded and you're basically pushed to dl only seeder surge stuff when you're actually lucky and it doesn't have exactly 5 seeders.
>10yearfag are there any trackers you still want to get on? What was this shit like 10 years ago, when did seedboxes start getting really big on trackers?
I'm done for now. Things might change though, for example a few years ago bitgamer was the best VG tracker then it disappeared overnight and everyone needed to find a new home. I don't see anything significant happening in the near future.
I've never used a seedbox, never needed one. People have used them since the early days though.
>Favorite tracker? Old anons always get me curious.
What.cd is hands down the best, but you must take into account that managing music content is far easier than most other media because the standards are much easier to control.
Where's Cara nigger to shitpost about it.
You are completely right, anon. I agree with you. I got 3gb of upload from downloading the movie of the week this week though.
my connection is 20/2, I only download select films from tehc but will likely consider to use a seedbox in about a month or so when I get a new job.
Nah i get shit upload cause of my speeds, i've already tried a few times.
I'd have to get a VPS for a while and get set4lyfe but i'd rather waste my money getting buffer with it on other sites.
I'm on 10/1 the struggle is real.
>What trackers are easy to farm BP on?
>in the past:
>- AB (for larger than 1TB seeding size)
AB is still easy you just need to seed lots of stuff.
There are fucking loads of shit and curry tier trackers where you can make the BP rain, do you have any standards here or what?
I still miss bitgamer. I got into BCG when they accepted the refugees from it but that took a good few years until I started actually liking it, the staff there used to be complete assholes and it wasn't well seeded until they brought in their new system.
Shit people bitched so hard about that as well.
I find music the hardest to sort though, and what.cd especially difficult because once it's off the site the files themselves are a clusterfuck of tags.
I feel so dirty using IPT.
I'm going to dump my account but I was wondering if you guys have anything I should grab off there before I delete my account.
No movies bc I don't trust IPT. Any applications/tools I should grab before I go.
TehC is the only tracker that has discouraged me since i started the rpg if i'm honest with you. Shit when i joined PTP i thought it'd be much harder with my speeds but it's easy as pie if you actually contribute and are willing to seed, TehC has nothing to encourage you except being a backup but ironically i still don't wanna give it up.
I was already in BCG prior to bitgamer's closure and I never liked it much so I decided to try GGn. I have to say that GGn is my go to, the interface and usability make it the best place to start, but BCG is a very worthy backup, it often has a better selection and doesn't go down to DDoS attacks anywhere near as often.
I've downloaded enough anime during the last freeleech an before that.
Can you give me some recommended or anyone else some recommended horror manga besides junji Ito?
I've spotted Shinobi:Heart Under Blade which I watched a long time ago an I'm going to grab that but I'm legit worried I won't be able to capitalize on this freeleech except to download random anime to get yen.
Fuck the cabal, it's well worth having in your portfolio. Despite the hilarious and weird troll shit the admin pulls it's pretty easy to just maintain an account there and use it for grabbing stuff as and when you need. For example I usually grab latest episodes of TV shows there because of up times.
I'm not on PTP- can you give me some advice more specifically? For when I eventually get on.
I wasn't disappointed but more surprised an yeah I guess disheartened especially when I found out that there was no BP there.
I consider it like a kind of movie archive to find select older films but I was definitely upset to not find a proper Jeepers Creepers seeded there - I don't know where else I would look.
No, I live in a small town in the middle of nowhere. At least I won't know what I'm missing as I've never seen 70MM. It's premiering here tomorrow.
I don't mind slow as long as it's good. Cheers, anon.
>I've never seen 70MM
If you ever make it out to LA or DC or similarly large city, try and see something, even if it's just a nature documentary or something.
70MM is a different experience.
(as is the New IMAX w/ Laser system, though that is even more difficult to find than 70mm at the moment)
I can confirm that 70 mm is the way to go for IMAX I live in South Florida and watched in Fort Lauderdale and it was amazing . To be completely honest I did not see the hateful eight but I saw interstellar and also the new Star Wars there . I had to drive 45 minutes and it was totally worth it
Grab GP every day, they always release them at the same time of day.
Get a bunch of HDDs and start using the upload from the GPs to grab stuff you like and fill the drives, you'll eventually start racking in BP from that stuff and the GPs and you'll be able to grab even more stuff you like to seed.
Odd, I saw star wars in both and preferred IMAX w/ laser over 70MM just because the 70MM just didn't offer good enough contrast ratio to really see good detail in the darker scenes.
IMAX w/ laser however was MUCH brighter and the dark scenes were sooooo much better, even though I generally dont like 3D, I honestly prefered the 3D IMAX w/ laser Star wars 7 to the 70MM IMAX Star wars 7.
Contrast ratio and color depth were just amazing and far outclassed 70mm.
Both were far better than the normal 3D IMAX though.
I live in Sweden. We don't have many of those around. I'm probably moving overseas in a few years. I'll keep a look out.
I've been to IMAX once, like 15 years ago to watch some nature documentary.
As for any video content tracker, permaseed at least 1TB of stuff. On PTP there is shitloads of freeleech. They really like movies and want people to watch them, the amount of extra features and organization it has is great.
I will say the 3D Laser IMAX is definitely a lot brighter, but I vehemently dislike 3D to begin with. I was very annoyed when I found out UK would not get the 70MM 2D Star Wars.
I was comparing the laser to 70MM 2D IMAX which I just think is the best way to watch films.
>I was comparing the laser to 70MM 2D IMAX
So was I. I saw it in 70MM 2D at the Smithsonian Air and Space museum Lockheed Martin IMAX theater. Then I also saw it in 3D IMAX w/ Laser at the Smithsonian Air and space Museum Udvar-Hazy Airbus IMAX theater.
Both were excellent and far better than the "normal" IMAX.
But again, the color depth and contrast ratio were just so superior on the IMAX w/ laser system that I would choose it every time over 70mm 2D, even though I generally don't like 3D in films, it was just that much better.
This isn't to say 70mm was bad, but the 3D w/ laser was better in my experience.
>As for any video content tracker, permaseed at least 1TB of stuff. On PTP there is shitloads of freeleech. They really like movies and want people to watch them, the amount of extra features and organization it has is great.
Most people aren't going to dedicate 1TB of HDD space to a single tracker indefinitely. And fortunately you absolutely don't need to do this either unless you want to download a LOT of stuff.
>Most people aren't going to dedicate 1TB of HDD space to a single tracker indefinitely
Most people aren't on private trackers, you're already one of the few who are, plenty of us dedicate far more than 1TB to a single tracker for an indefinite period of time.
I currently have 2.5TB dedicated to AB alone. Another 1TB for Jpopsuki.
>I thought that was a given for a movie/TV tracker. You can still cross seed.
OK let me put it this way. I have downloaded a LOT of stuff on BTN... over the course of several years. I've never had more than about 250GB seeding simultaneously. The reality is unless you're a shut-in there's no way you can watch enough stuff to justify downloading so much in such short spaces of time.
1TB is still a lot to most people even if you're cross-seeding content with multiple trackers.
>Most people aren't on private trackers, you're already one of the few who are, plenty of us dedicate far more than 1TB to a single tracker for an indefinite period of time.
I clearly meant most people on private trackers, not in general. Not that many relative to total tracker populations do.
>I currently have 2.5TB dedicated to AB alone. Another 1TB for Jpopsuki.
>Alright, neat to know that you permaseed at least 1tb of stuff but is your only advice to download freeleech?
Not that guy but as far as PTP goes, yes, just download freeleech and seed for a while to build your stats.
Bonus points and why not?
I have 150mbps upload, seeding all of that doesn't do anything on my day to day computer use, I can still game and I can still browse the web or watch movies with my seeding happening in the background.
I am already using the hard drive space to store the content so it's not like i'd magically gain more storage space by NOT seeding.
If you get on PTP you'll see how much FL there is to download. There's not much advice needed on PTP, it's very easy to maintain buffer.
I'll be honest, I downloaded about 1 TB in my first week on BTN. I still seed it.
>Bonus points and why not?
I know that BP is the reason but why do you need so much?
>I have 150mbps upload, seeding all of that doesn't do anything on my day to day computer use, I can still game and I can still browse the web or watch movies with my seeding happening in the background.
>I am already using the hard drive space to store the content so it's not like i'd magically gain more storage space by NOT seeding.
The HDD's cost money though, so you really need to justify to yourself storing so much stuff.
>Downloading the FL, deleting it once the H&Rs are up seem to work better than seeding bonus points if you're on limited space like me.
That's exactly what I did when I had to be more efficient with my HDD space. I've since found a happy medium where I spare some HDD space to leave stuff seeding beyond the required minimum. If you ever aspire to anything more than PTP or if you somehow end up in some bother with the admin (which can happen to anyone at any time for any reason) then having stats that show you're not just a bare minimum leecher can help your case.
>I know that BP is the reason but why do you need so much?
Donate to the freeleech pool on AB and for epeen.
>The HDD's cost money though, so you really need to justify to yourself storing so much stuff.
I would already have the HDDs anyway as I keep everything I download.
Not to mention, 4TB HDDs are down around $120 for a decent one. It's not like they are THAT expensive. a 4TB drive will easily last me 6-12 months of even fairly heavy torrenting.
>I'm 22/3 - will that be good enough or get a seedbox for a month or so?
As long as you can download and seed then your upload doesn't even really matter. Gather BP and your golden.
>The HDD's cost money though, so you really need to justify to yourself storing so much stuff.
The only reason I got into these trackers was to store this stuff. /g/ says this a lot but storage is cheap and gets cheaper every year. I'm the single seeder on a lot of shit too.
>Donate to the freeleech pool on AB and for epeen.
So for fun basically? It's fine I'm not judging, just never understood it myself.
>I would already have the HDDs anyway as I keep everything I download.
Even stuff you're 99.99% sure you will never ever use?
>Not to mention, 4TB HDDs are down around $120 for a decent one. It's not like they are THAT expensive. a 4TB drive will easily last me 6-12 months of even fairly heavy torrenting.
They're fairly cheap but it's still money I can and will spend on something else. Also what do you mean exactly? You use it for 6-12 months then bin it or what?
>The only reason I got into these trackers was to store this stuff. /g/ says this a lot but storage is cheap and gets cheaper every year. I'm the single seeder on a lot of shit too.
You store everything though? I'm kind of past the point of caring if stuff stops being seeded after I've got my utility out of it. I only seed to make myself look good, everything else is irrelevant.
>/ptg/ is pretty comfy right now.
Agreed, I'm trying to make it good and fortunately there are other people doing the same. Also nobody's arguing, just discussing. Pretty cool desu.
>You use it for 6-12 months then bin it or what?
Once it's filled I buy a new HDD for my desktop and move the filled one over to my home server which has like 18TB right now. Pretty much all full of Movies/TV/Anime/Porn/Music.
I think this summer at some point I will make a full backup of everything and store everything off site, thinking about either my brothers house or just getting a safety deposit box or something similar.
I used to grab all of what's FL and staff picks and do the /ptg/ pyramid hustle but after the Freleeches that became irrelevant so I don't do that any more and deleted all of it. What.cd staff picks were always so shit. Besides that shit had thousands of seeders.
But with the others, I've always downloaded what I've intended to keep, so seeding it all makes no difference to me. When I delete shit to replace it with better copies.
>Once it's filled I buy a new HDD for my desktop and move the filled one over to my home server which has like 18TB right now. Pretty much all full of Movies/TV/Anime/Porn/Music.
I see. I have 5TB total right now, I've added a TB once every 18 months or so and it's worked fine for me so far.
>I think this summer at some point I will make a full backup of everything and store everything off site, thinking about either my brothers house or just getting a safety deposit box or something similar.
That's been something I've been meaning to get around to as well. I think I'm going to prioritise it over getting any more "new" space for the foreseeable future.
What's supposedly in the Elite forum anyways? Just noticed that I have the GB's to be Elite but not the uploads, so I'm wondering if it's worth spamming shitty albums until I reach the 50.
The highlights are the interview applications, interview corner (hilarious interview quotes), PTP recruitment. Font piracy thread is down and the elite invite thread is kinda threadbare.
>What's supposedly in the Elite forum anyways? Just noticed that I have the GB's to be Elite but not the uploads, so I'm wondering if it's worth spamming shitty albums until I reach the 50.
It's a PT soooo... official recruitment threads. Literally everything else is completely fucking worthless.
I just cannot see much point to AHD if you are on PTP but I'm more concerned about movies, than quality. If it's GP that's good enough for me and it seems AHD's best ends up there. This is just me though, others here use AHD way more than PTP and AHD got a lot better seeded because PTP was closed for so damn long.
no problem, here's 2-month old tm forum screenshot
i'd be curious to see what the current threads are like
see >>52391737 >>52391747
readable stepped down from staff
At that point getting into other trackers stops mattering and pure autism takes over. As you can see, most threads are about putting more content on the site itself or the other Masters.
>Seedboxes can't containt 10tb+ of data without paying 100+ per month
You get a 1TB or 2TB seedbox, download what you want, transfer to home computer, seed what you need to and delete when you no longer need to seed.
That way you have a copy on your computer at home, and your seedbox now has free space for more stuff.
Is there anyway to automatically do that?
Say I have a 6TB seedbox (server) and 60TB at a home seedbox. After a day or two I want the seedbox to send it to home and delete it for more high speed storage.
It would be fairly basic, you're just moving files from one directory to another via SFTP.
If you have free time just spend the next week or two learning basic scripting and you can probably throw something together.
>Nowhere. Readable (the recruiter) killed himself or something.
Is it just a case of this one recruiter not doing it any more, for whatever reason? So is there any reason to assume that it will possibly open IP again at some point in the future?
BTN has only ever had one recruiter and is very invite shy, almost as much as HDB. They may recruit again, but I very much doubt it's high on their list right now, what with the 2 minute page load times.
No screens because they have a weird backend that makes every user's background unique so they can identify the user by the screen shot and ban them.
Everyone has their own theory but I suspect some especially illegal stuff happens there. I don't want to state categorically but I think you can figure out what kind of things they might be.
which one anon's. I'm trying to capitalize on the freeleech.
Thanks, anon. And can you give me tips on finding out which is the release to download?
lurk /a/, read comments on baka bt? I'm not a complete weeb so give me tips or tell me how to become complete weeb so I don't have to ask /ptg/ or something
I've seen it discussed in various upper class forums. Most of the time it's second hand info too. All I really know is that there's a good reason that they're as secretive as they are, and it's probably legal reasons. I wouldn't be concerned about what goes on in there, it'll most likely be some depraved shit that most people have no interest in anyway. Hopefully the law will catch up with them somehow and only then will we have any real idea what goes in there.
Reading the description if it has one, comparing sub/audio/video sources if they tell you.
Generally you want to grab the most recent version of something unless it is a specific sub group you know is shit or similar.
>You're likely not gonna seed any significant amount
I am seeding around 2.5TB of content and I manage to upload over 20GB a day.
That's not that bad, on top of that I earn plenty of BP.
Does Animebyts or oppaiti.me have hit and run system?
If so is there any anime trackers that dont have have and hit and run?
Sorry, I want to capitalize on the freeleech and have enough BP but I want to get yen as well but want to download something I will watch/enjoy.
Lain is always recommended so just used that as example bc I plan to watch it.
He isn't me.
i don't know how serious this is but I've signed into what via firefox but not chrome and just realised I do not remember my password.
Post in forum? message staff? there isn't password reset right?
If you're going to get into private trackers you will have to seed. Looking for ways to avoid it or not dealing with seeding won't get you far. Thinking about hnr should be a complete afterthought.
Besides it's anime if you don't want to see you can find it everwhere.
bout to hit 10.00 sometime tonight or early tomorrow bois
m8, you're supposed to just hoard points and exchange them for upload. Go to the forum and introduce yourself and you should get quite a lot to get you started. Also say hi and you're new in the shoutbox. You can permaseed the 10 smallest ebooks on MAM and get bonus points that way.
Can't wait to nuke 500 encodes for UHD BD sourced trumps ;_;
At least I didn't cuck myself and buy physical media like /tv/.
>because your home connection will fuck up at some point.
well it hasn't yet in two months, and if it fails once in 2 months.... big deal.
And I also delay my updates for months before doing a bulk update all at once before leaving my computer on again for several months.
The interview isn't designed to vet users that lurk hydrogenaudio and know the intricacies of spectrograms and audio formats.
The main goal of what's process is to vet users that are able to read information (whatinterviewprep), understand it and apply it effectively. It turns out that this + waiting in line for a few hours is an amazing way to filter curries and special snowflake redditors.
Given this, the best advice I can give you is to read ALL the information on whatinterviewprep until you're confident you understand it. Don't confuse yourself with pastebins or any of that shit because a lot of the time they're wrong and it's important to understand what you're saying, rather than just regurgitating information because they'll phrase questions in certain ways to confirm this. For this very reason don't cheat, if it's obvious you're reading notes or copy pasting, you wont pass first time.
Remember that interviewers are people so have a conversation and don't be a sperg. The real secret to passing first go is just to be some one that an interviewer would want in their invite tree, so be honest, if you're not sure about a question be honest and they'll guide you through (with weird like guessing the bitrate of a spectrogram).
