This seems like a lot but you don't have a whole lot of lean mass which inflates this number. I'd recommend a bulk before you worry about cutting. The skinnier you are the harder it's going to be to put on muscle mass.

The inverse is true for bulk though. The more muscular you are the easier it is to get lean due to you burning hundreds of more calories in a day just for maintenance not to mention the testosterone increase

Why, why the fuck does it keep happening? I'm afraid of how my stomach handle food when it occasionally goes on a shitfit like a madman.

Stepped on the scale today 5 lb lighter.

monday I had 1055 calories, 51c / 41f / 120p, morning of I weighed in at 170.2

tuesday I had 1181 calories, 77c/ 37f / 129p, morning of I weighed in at 168.2

Also did some heavy lifting full body, followed by some HIIT sprints, 1 min each at 10 miles an hour with some rest in between each set. Running is actually way easier now that I'm less fat.

Woke up this morning at 163.2 lb. All time low weight for me which is great. My weight bounced around 170 for a long time because I kept having 3k calorie days too often.


I realize that I am losing a bunch of muscle but once I hit 160 I'll up my calories to 2500 and maintain for about 2-3 weeks before dropping any further.

Strength is pretty decent cause my protein is still high. I'm taking whey, fish oil, creatine, and a multi.

Thanks! Yeah actually, the rate of loss decreased a lot due to my TDEE changing without me noticing really. After I adjusted my diet a bit, progress has been made more consistent.

hey guys, fatty here that recently decided to get his shit together. i'm a little confused about macronutrients. if i just want to cut body fat and not have a super-muscly body, should i be getting most of my calories from protein?

Yeah thats what Im worried about, for instance when I eat my steamed veg I wish I could just eat a big bowl of it but a 1/12 of the bag is 26 calories or 100 grams for 37 calories. I also dont drink calories unless im out for a meal/have people over.

I'd post stats but its weigh in tomorrow so i'd rather wait.

Maybe change your diet a bit and incorporate more protein and a bit of fat to hold you over for the day longer, drink water throughout the day because sometimes when you are hungry, your body is just a bit dehydrated.

Try to eat closer to what your real cut is, especially if you're cutting while working out. I'm assuming you're a dude--it's okay to bank a huge deficit on occasion, but extended periods of less than 1200 aren't good for you in the long run. If grill, less than 1000.

8th day at gym.

DOING 20 MIN BIKE 90-100 RPM, THEN GAINS (BICEPS, PECTORALS, SHOULDERS) THEN ANOTHER 10-15 MINUTES BIKE THEN GOING HOME WALKING 40 MINUTES.

If you're already aware it COULD become a habit, then you are in a position to prepare for it. As long as you are studious about counting your shit, weight gain can't win (or, at least, can't be a surprise to you).

i don't doubt that it feels good. to be honest it's not like you're making MASSIVE LOSSES doing your cardio before your lifts. but you could be going a bit further if you did your lifts before. think about how your muscles are using up their glycogen stores to power your cardio, you will have less glycogen ready for your lifting.

? 20 is late? there were people who were in their mid 20s getting drunk with the freshers when i went and they were great. 2 years is barely anything.

i lost weight at uni because i didn't have much money and thus couldn't spend money on shitty takeaways like all the other students.

What if your TDEE is 2800 and your on a 1200 calorie diet you walk 2.5 miles everyday and every other day your lifting. Let's say I break into 1480 calories I feel terrible my ashamed and thinking of only eating 600 calories tomorrow during my non lift day.

I'd honestly knock your cut up to 1500 without any guilt. If you are reliably exercising and lifting, more food (GOOD FOOD) will only help your gains. Please don't punish yourself when you are still eating well under your TDEE.

You'll need to consistently lift for like a year to look like you maybe sometimes get some physical exercise.
