My hair gains. 2 1/2 years in. Any tips on how to style it/wear it? Male
Any black anons with long hair besides having dreads or braids? I want to try getting this look but i dont know if i could pull it off
How do I get hair like SLP anon?
Currently have a Riggins-esque cut - it widens my face a bit, which is good.
Using L'Oreal EverCreme intense nourishing shampoo, which is without sulfates. I'm also on fin astride, which has basically turned me into a eunuch (NW2 / mature hairline with slight temple recession).
Any styling products you guys recommend?
Im going for a young leo type cut but im not sure if it looks good
What do? I have an undercut on both side panels but not back. Recently started braiding it either along the panel hairline when i tie it up or doing a bigger braid and wear a hat. You can see a shit braid in this if you look hard enough. What do.
Naw. Well, I don't try to be. I don't really care when people say that I look like a girl anymore, though.
Thanks, yo, any tips?
Nigga I said I was male in my post
Sure, for styling advice
You look like Meredith's son from the Office
is there any way i could get really messy curly hair? ive been growing it out for a while (it finally rests on my shoulders) and my hair is very thick, but it will never curl like i want it to. ive tried getting a perm, but i looked like a huge faggot. any tips?
It's time to shave my head isn't it? Going bald man. The temples and above the ear is thinning too much
You are beautiful anon. Yes, you look androginous indeed, but it seems like you own it efortlessly, and that makes you look great.
(Oh, I'm a grill and pretty sure many other girls will find you gorgeous).
Better pic to show the dieing hair in the temple region.
Youve got time left. If you think youll feel suffer from being bald at your age, look up finasteride. For 50 dollars a month you'll be saved from balding further and all damaged, thin hairs will probably grow thick again. I'm 21, 5 months in and god it's one of my better decisions in my life so far
Been growing my hair out, should I keep going?
>Less serious side effects may include: impotence, loss of interest in sex, or trouble having an orgasm;
swelling in your hands or feet;
swelling or tenderness in your breasts;
feeling like you might pass out;
Nigga what the fuck? So you either go bald or you lose your sex life?
I got the top bangs cut off because it was bothering me.
You have hair that would make women envious. That waviness...I want it. Although I would suggest a differnt style. The middle part just looks kinda like something a long haired middle schooler would do.
Just google men long wavy haircut. I found like 6 within 2 mins that looked amazing. Just pic one you like and either style it that way, or go to a stylist and have them cut it accordingly
What should I do with this? It's too thick and wants fall into this shape whenever I use wax in it. I'm pretty close to just burning it and starting over. I have an oval face.
Question for all. Do I look more masculine when I pull it back? Should I cut it?
Thank you very much, femanon. That was very kind. Bless
Naw, not gay, thanks though, man.
6'5", kind of deters people from thinking I'm female in real life.
Honestly, I wish my hair wasn't so curly so I could achieve this style. Mirrin' hard, dude
I don't see it at all, desu
Nice hair, I dig it
Honestly nothing besides normal cheap shampoo and conditioner. I do not part my hair, too, so that could be it. That's what I'd recommend, just don't part your hair and keep it back like >>10904828 does. When it looks cool and unkempt
Here's a quick one. Should I bother with wax/pomade?
are you asian? this guy has good videos for your hair type https://www.youtube.com/user/Edvasian/videos
also I can already tell the awkward stage is going to suck ass for you, but don't give up!
Have been growing out for a while
No perm or anything
I just keep it up with a manbun
Wat do? Cut or nah?
Am going to clean it when it gets longer
>Problem is that only my BMI drops and weight won't come down from 210lb
...what? BMI is weight (in kg) over height (in m) squared. If your BMI is dropping, your weight is.
If you mean BF%, as in body fat percentage, you are in an ideal position - don't stop doing what you're doing. You'd then be gaining muscle and losing fat at an equal rate, which is crazy enviable. Don't complain about what is arguably the best possible situation you could have, fitness-wise.
I go to the barber and tell him to just clean me up. Those neck hairs really make awkward stage more awkward. I think once you get your hair long enough it just wont be noticeable
I thought of rewording that after i wrote it, because i didn't want it to sound that way.
You look way more masculine with it pulled back + you have a nice hairline, but your hair is so beautiful you shouldn't cut it, it makes you look like a more interesting person imo
I started no-poo a few weeks back and I'd recommend that. First few weeks are greasy as fuck but it gets better the longer you keep it up, right now my hair looks similar to how it was when I shampooed, except it isn't nearly as dry and also looks nicely shiny.
tl:dr: no poo and no conditioner, only water.
From what I've read there's been very few cases of anything going wrong.
Have you had a different experience or do you have proof of it actually being bad for you despite the many success stories?
Sadly I've no pics, sorry.
I'm not too certain on how no-poo+conditioner works, but what I do know is that you shouldn't be washing your hair every day.
I say like 2-3 days a week, more would be too much imo.
I've tried no poo, after a while it just fucked up my hair(hair loss, itchy scalp)
Now I condition and shampoo 1-2 times a week, pic is the result. Much healthier looking hair, feels nicer, no itchy scalp and no hair loss.
Tldr: no poo is a meme, find good products instead
Not a joke per se, but the whole nopoo thing isn't as great as everybody makes it. I guess because it's mainly exists on Internet forum communities, so you'll get a huge cirlejerk and negative comments about it will be ignored.
6,5 wtf are you so tall and that's fucking great from ?
my hair are curly in a bad way, what can i do plz
How to get 80s drug lord hair? I mean slicked back, but thick and airy. How do you ask for this stuff at the barber shop? Show them a picture and say go for it?
Hair after ~6 months, what do? Cut the sides, wear a beanie out just buzz it?
I'm about this length of hair right now. I feel so trashy, it looks alright, but all my life I've been having sharp short hair and I really wanna try it out this time, just let it grow. Problem is I feel I look bad and how do I into long hair motivation. Fuck.
I haven't had a haircut in about a year and a half, what should I do?
I hear things about getting your ends trimmed which I've never done, would that help?
Should I get it layered or something?
Does anyone here ever wear there long hair like this, with the rest pulled back? Or does it look too sloppy
I think it looks good... Ex keeps telling me to cut it but i think shes just insane.
Slowly growing them, going for the Jesus Christ.
Can't really figure out what to do with middle lenght phases.
How should I let my hair get cut? any suggestions
What's your hair texture like? Afar people from Ethiopia have ways of getting to hair to look like pic related, which, depending on your length, might be styled like that. Might be worth some research.
My hair texture is pretty typical of a full black person's hair, except the top which is a lot more manageable than the back and the sides. But ive had twists in my hair for about 5 months and whenever i undo them it lays down sort of similar to that afar hair you posted, but a little less coiled
Put some gold in that shit and you'll look like Rick James.
Anyone know of any ways to make hair grow faster? I'm just a couple of inches away from getting out of the awkward stage and would probably kill a man with my bare hands to get the extra length in the next week
I have already been doing the inversion method for a few months, seems like it works but not that well (extra .25-.5 in a month or so)
Ive never grown out my hair before. Shaved it all off last november, only trimmed it once since then. My hair is very thick, and don't know if I should continue with growing it out. Opinions ?
Then hell yeah man, if you get the right prep for your hair you can just style it kind of like the picture you had before. It'll probably look a bit different, but it might work.
What are some good moistures? Natural would be good too I guess. Have similar hair and it's rather dry and thick.
Trying to grow hair out, want that shit shoulder length at least. Pls help this is the first time :/
A similar style works, kind of like Cat Stevens with pic related. Been thinking about trying this out. but I've got some pretty bad temple recession. Not sure how I'd do with it versus just long hair.
Posting inspo for those of you who want to grow long hair but want to also get a hair cut because your in that akward not long but not short phase. This is what awaits you.
always better messy imo
but ok thx
I don't really like my hair, always hiding it by wearing beanies. Any suggestions? products etc... please
Hey I hope you read this because I think it will help. In the winter, my hair would get exactly like yours is now. I hated it. It was disgustingly frail, dry, and overall just untamable. My first step was to stop shampooing. It helped, but my hair was still pretty gnarly. Then I realized if I wasn't shampooing, I needed to use conditioner..
Anyway, I'm rambling about nothing right now but here's what you need to try:
>change your daily shower routine
I started taking showers an hour or two before bed instead of in the morning or even quite frequently twice a day.
>Don't dry your hair, don't even touch it after you turn that water off
>don't brush your hair, it will only make it frizzy
>condition every day
>don't use shampoo more than once a week
>eat healthier, drink a ton of water
I hope this helps, if I left anything out I'll respond to this post
growing out to few inches below shoulder length
Alright, will follow your friendly advice thanks.
Can I keep using my current conditioner and shampoo, or rather what's your opinion about?
Thanks in advance.
I'm not a total expert on what products work for all hair types, I really only know how to cater to my own hair (thick and wavy). However, I would suggest trying DevaCurl No-Poo Zero Lather Conditioning Cleanser as a shampoo as it won't rip out the natural oils your hair produces. When it comes to conditioner, it's all about trial and error. I personally use
It works really well for me, I don't think my hair has ever been happier.
dude you're probably not actually going bald but literally pulling the hair out of your scalp by tying back when you barely have the length for it
just chill out and it might grow back in
I'm going for the Daniel Bryan 2014 hair.
Been growing for almost a year and a half, thinking I should maybe get it trimmed a bit sometime soon.
Any tips on going to a salon? Don't really want too much cut, would I just ask for the dead stuff to be cut?
I haven't used shampoo or conditioner in about 8 months. Hair feels great.
>I haven't used shampoo or conditioner in about 8 months. Hair feels great.
When you stopped shampooing, how long did your hair take to "normalize", by that I mean stop getting greasy as fuck.
hair is kind of straight normally
what I do is this
-no shampoo, just rinse everyday whilst showering
-apply sea salt spray after showering
-curl hair with brush whilst blow-drying
-leave it bunned for an hour or so
it normally isn't that wavey, pic related is without any effort. my hair is really thick.
Is it healthy for my hair if I wash it everyday with water only.
I know it's unhealthy with shampoo but I'm doing the straight edge no-poo routine aka water only.
I wash it every other day now and it gets semi greasy on the second day so Is it ok for my hair if I wash it every day?
I think I've finally reached the second awkward stage. My hair looks awkward and weird unless its on a bun, and when I take it out of the bun it looks even more shite.
To make things worse, I'm about 3 months overdue for a trim but I really don't want to lose any more length.
I think we have the same hair type so thanks for the tip. I've been growing my hair for 5 months how long has it been for you to get to that point?
Also does anyone know what pic related's hair cut is called? I've seen anon's show it off ITT but no one has named it.
Another pic, showing the back is clearly cut, but the rest is intact
My hair is about this length now and I'm looking to style it like this. What hair products would be best to get this look
People at work tell me my hair is gorgeous, is it?
Pic related is 7 hours after showering, 0 product.
When straightened, hair at the front reaches my chin, and the hair at the back goes to the bottom of my neck, so I think I'm qualified to post itt.
Also is pic related a good hairstyle? Tied up at the bottom of the back, and the rest let loose?
only in the shower with my fingers. Dove's creamy soap helps afroing it
It's almost like you don't want to be attractive.
Shitty pic but it's the best I could do rn.
I want to have hair like Adam Driver, or maybe these guys: >>10921337
I've been without shampoo or anything for like a week and a half now... haven't showered since Thursday night and my hair is only has a slight grease going. But if I were on my shampooing regime I would be like 3 times as greasy as I am now. For me it was like six days for my hair to stop being really greasy but this required night and morning washes with water only followed by drying off with a towel. I'm considering letting my hair dry naturally now though.
Have really thick somewhat wavy hair.
Looking for a product that:
>has strong hold
>dries matte, not shiny
>won't make my hair crunchy
Preferably something common that I can buy in most stores, but if I have to buy online that's fine. Price isn't an issue.
this is me, lol
thoughts on something Danny Brown-esque?
Tip for everyone growing out long hair: TRIM YOUR SHIT UP F4M! Dont just let it go loose you lazy cunt.
The top must be longer than other parts. You have to crop it around the ears and the neck. It will look much better if the ears are visible and if you dont have that crazy mullet going on.
Pic related. Long but clean as FUCK.
more long and clean inspo
I mean, I wouldn't call Leo Youth long really. If you're growing for any significant length (like shoulder length hair), a trim can set you back months of progress.
But yeah, if you're going for a style like that you should actually go get the haircut.
h-hey /fa/ do you like my hair in its natural colour or black
>posts leo and bateman
Germany. Male average is ~180cm; 5ft11in... It's not all that bad, just that when you already are below average height, i. e. relatively short, you'd want to avoid stuff that makes you seem proportionately shorter on top of that.
Like gloriously long hair or long coats.
Sorry, but 5'9 is short for a white male. I'm 6'1 and even I feel like a manlet at times, I'd say I'm about average for a young white male.
I don't consider myself "too short" per se - just short and I avoid longer hair in order not to make myself seem shorter "unnecessarily", and assume people at and below my height would too. At least it works better on tall people.
you should be fine, id only suggest avoiding growing paste shoulder length
>falling for the manlet meme this hard
i know its hard with all these /fit/ raids but come on man you dont need to be this gullable
Can't wait til I have this :> should be long enough by may-june.
Check out my hair gains.
But seriously what can you do if your hair is made of straw? I've been shaving it my whole life.
i've been growing mine out for a couple of moths now, usually have it like the picture on the left
my dreads are just starting to touch my shoulders got about 3 inches till they will be pic related length
Would anyone have recommendations for maintenance, shampoos, and/or conditioners for keratin treated hair?
My hair is normally curly as fuck. I've treated it once before this, about a year and a half ago. it turned out pretty well, but I had to cut it for work. I'm able to grow it out again, but it's been looking like shit lately. I'm also looking pretty shit, but am working on it.
