There is no such this as 'Traditional' pods.

The 'main' ones I guess people like are the -R Jersey cotton variation. The ones you liked are -F Felpa, or fleece cotton. Theyre thicker and bulkier and don't drape as nicely.

Maybe with an insole. I'm a 7.5 in Geos, 8-9 in everything else. 8 in canvas ramones is just perfect, 9 needs to be laced up tight enough that it buckles all gross. think an 8 in boots is a little big just because they have no laces.

Depends on how much adjustment you need. Something gel-like will provide the biggest difference (dr Scholls or whatever) but a thick leather insole will be much nicer and more durable. I have some thin leather insoles from Amazon that are okay for changing a half size or less, and I have some nice thick ones that came with my FEITs. Never found a good place to buy something similar though.
