Lewd Roguelike update for the new thread:

Some rough work done on startup UI animations.
Collision detection.
Working console output.

For whatever reason, the gif plays at a slower speed than the actual game. Since the game is being written almost entirely from scratch, I still have a ton of crap to work on before I actually get to the real content, but it is progressing.

I said in the last thread that I was working on a tileset, but the graphics have a pretty low priority at this point. Also, it's not really about the '90s' feel, even modern roguelikes often include an ASCII mode, even if they otherwise provide a tileset. It's a very central part of the genre.

If anyone's having trouble saving their TiTS save data to files on Android and is using my unofficial builds, it looks like you will have to manually allow the app the "storage" permission in settings. You should only need to do this one time. To make the game prompt you, I'd have to write some Java and install the Android SDK, which I really don't feel like doing right now (it's a pain in the ass). It will probably happen eventually, just not now.

I didn't realize this was an issue because when I started making builds, I was using Lollipop (Android 5.0.1), where things just work.

Android 6 (marshmallow) and higher you need to go to Settings -> Apps -> TiTS -> Permissions. Then toggle the "storage" switch to the on position.
Then you will be able to save/load from files. Useful if you're transitioning from the official APKs to mine.

BTW the app shows as version 0.6.32 in settings because I realized that people can't downgrade if I bump the version number.

So a few days ago inspiration struck, and i've been working almost non-stop on a little Twine game since. I had only ever used sugarcube before, but i decided since it had been so long and i'd basically forgotten all of the pseudo-code twine uses, i figured i'd start over with harlowe. I tell ya, the first few days dicking around with absolutely no coding knowledge just throwing shit together until it sort of did what i wanted was a pain in the ass, but now i've got my i've at least got a sense of everything i need for a combat system, scripted events, random events, and basic story writing stuff.

Here's the run down. My thing is breast expansion, and there's just not enough games with a focus on it, so it's a game where girls ascend levels of a tower. When you "fight", you can let the loser run away or absorb their tit power and drain them of their size.. Lots of different enemies and events planned. I've nearly got the first level put together, and when I do i'll upload it for you guys.

I'm really excited about this project still and i've got a huge amount of free time planned, so i don't see my enthusiasm dying down soon.

If you mean for White Syri Edition, I'm just using JPEXS Flash Decompiler. I'm not a flash dev at all, so it could be garbage for all I know, but it works. Open the .swf file, go to the images directory, find the two syri images, right click on them > Replace > Select the old bust. Then save the file. When you play it, the old busts will appear.

Slightly off topic, but nothing is distributed through Patreon anymore. Fenoxo can't add his user tracking to Patreon builds, so the new releases just direct you to his build service now. Not true. When the game was open source there was no license information, so technically anyone who contributed code in that period holds copyright over their contributions still.
The clarified "license" now attempts to retroactively assert copyright, but that is unlikely to hold up in court.
