Definitely. Most people who use MMD have to install MME in order to use the "Scale.fx" and the people who really know their stuff can break the effect to make it work better. Usually, the scale tool has a max of 15x, but people know how to make the limit infinite. Pretty cool stuff.

Multiple factors, and it differs between people. For me personally, it's the process and the change. I couldn't give a damn about start and end sizes (except I don't like lulz 10 miles tall macro stuff) as long as there's a decent progression being depicted. I don't like it when it's a single panel poof transformation, and I don't like it when the clothes grow with them, like they're being magnified rather than actually growing. It's all about the increase of size and proportions.

All his comics look like something in the back of MAD magazine and the coloring hurts my eyes. Which is a shame because stuff that he writes but doesnt draw is fantastic.

Overall the comic is pretty good for the Growth aspect. The ending was fun but I felt they should have teased it then given us the full delivery in a third installment, but that's just personal taste.

(Also if Trish is supposed to be the tallest girl as mentioned in the first issue, why does there seem to bit little consistency in part 2?)

I like how its a constant gag that the guy is always the first 1 attempting to use growth against the bad guys but always fails and the growth device lands on one of the girls instead. i'm not sure about the the pre established heights, I can only guess its the author didnt keep / make character notes to reference back to.

Agreed, it's somewhat compelling he is the one who wants to get big/fight the baddies, but it never works out.

If it were me, I'd have the first three issues focus on single girl, but having the girl(s) prior also grow adds a nice critical mass. The ending was great because I really like when girls get envious and want to grow as well, and especially when she denied the dude so she could double-boost to match the others...Yet the immediate gratification seems too easy, like it could've been a point to further her desire to grow. IDK. Neat premise either way.

And yeah, somehow I doubt they have character notes.

Took a quick peek at it. Seems the OP of that thread didn't like the fact that this thread is mostly Giantess Growth focused (which is what I'm here for anyway), instead of Expansion.

I'd argue that, while that one is labeled as 2.5, it doesn't seem very affiliated with this thread. This one should just continue to a Growth 3 thread (for GTS growth) while that would should stick to general expansion (BE, Ass Expansion, etc.). Fair enough, it seems that every past growth thread that was simply titled "Growth thread", has been made with macrophilia in mind. I never thought they were actually meant to be gts exclusive unless the particular op specified otherwise. I wouldnt mind seeing BE, AE, Muscle, posted here. I also wouldnt mind if we went the /aco/ route and made a full on growth/expansion general. It beats having to sit on this thread like a mother hen, and protect from the page 11 monster twice, sometimes thrice a day.

That's actually a good sign. The previous thread was mere days away from being 100 days old (holy shit, by the way) because of how badly the /aco/ bullshit hurt /d/'s userbase. I kept the thread alive for weeks almost entirely by myself. I only had to bump the thread once every 24+ hours, which is fucking insane. I've been a /d/eviant for over 10 years, and /d/ has NEVER been that dead. People finally seem to be coming back to /d/ and once again ignoring Ma/d/ Mo/d/.

It's a shame that most MMD artists are either inactive, post very rarely, or have completely disappeared

I browse the /cg/ board of Macrochan and more than 75 percent of it's userbase seems to have up and left. The only user that is trying to get more new content out there is Jim Jimbo. And while his new interactive thing he just released is very nice, it's running extremely choppy on a computer that doesnt have an i7 processor.

geez I remember back in 2013 how mmd was thriving and things were lively with animators.and you could actually go to macrochan and find new content almost every day. But on the up side, PachiPatchy posted a new video a few months ago after a couple years of exile so I was pretty stoked about that. the new video is more shrinking micro cities than growth but it achieves same effect.

Well This Thread official hit the 50 day mark and has a decent number of posts and unique replies. Seems more active then the last one but still pretty sluggish. Growth 2.5 general seems pretty dead as well. I guess all the relevant user base has already found niche refuges in specific Grow'ey threads elsewhere.

I Still think general growth threads would be our best future option though, Assuming were gonna still keep making successor threads to this one. But if we only do these threads once in a while like on and off (allow the new content to replenish itself) than it might not become a problem.
