This is coming from my own experience, and I'll assume I'm not alone on it: Middle school was a worse time than High school. High schoolers tend to mature and stick to their own groups, middle schoolers are still developing and tend to be incredibly immature. A lot of physical assault and harassment happen during this time, and it's more than just girl/girl bullying. Girl/boy, boy/boy, and even boy/girl happens.
Sure, you get constant name calling if you don't have a nice enough name, or called pizza-face by another pimply student, but it can happen far, far worse.
And the staff you'd think that should help you during Middle School? They don't help at all, and if you try to fight back, they punish you harsher.

Thanks! It was a bunch of stand alone stories and illustrations put in one book. The theme was "girls in medieval armor".

I use Clip studio paint, which has a half tone feature that has a bunch of customizable textures you can apply to the image. The program itself costs a bit of money if you don't intend on pirating it, but I'd say it's worth it as a comics focused photoshop alternative. It even has built in 3d models you can use to help out with posing and backgrounds, if you're so inclined.

Nah man puberty is more prominent for girls in middle school. As a girl in middle school it was fucking hell and if you're weren't part of the preppy/rich girl crowd you were constantly picked on. Unfortunately for me I didn't understand the social ladder until it was too late, and my family was poor as fuck. High school was much better and everyone was generally chill with each other. Though that may have been because all the bitchy people went to degenerate high schools so I never saw them again. I think you're right about women focusing more on relationships. I have been in fandom circles that are primarily female as well as primarily male.

For a lot of women, the only reason that they take up drawing or writing is to find a community of people to give them validation.

Lots of women struggle in certain areas of higher level discourse because much of the content is taught in a linear/logically structured format that male biological pathways tend to have more success at. High School can still be rough, but it lacks to sheer confusion and awkwardness of middle school because you've been going through the physical changes for a few years already.
As far as my personal experience goes, I got in a lot more fights in middle school than at any other time. Outside of that, I remember spending most of my time reading alone during the breaks. I had a small social circle, but it wasn't intimate and even largely adversarial. High school, my social ties expanded a lot more.

most of the cases I'm aware of, are cases where the woman has a moment of moral clarity, and confesses to her lie, even though she would never have been caught otherwise. They tend to get lenient punishments, because the justice system doesn't want to disincentiveize that sort of thing. In the mind of judges, it's more important to keep innocent non-rapist men out of prison, than to put lying non-victim women into prison forever.

There's also the more common thing, where a man is accused of rape, but found innocent. That doesn't necessarily mean that the woman lied. She may have lied, or there might just not have been enough evidence to convict the man. Either way, she almost never gets any sentence for this. It's a bad precedent to punish accusers of any crime for losing the court case in a legal system where the defender is "innocent until proven guilty".

I don't know what sort of sentence is passed when evidence of a false-rape-accusation surfaces without the woman confessing. It SHOULD be extremely harsh, but I honestly don't know if it is or not.
