>>91946805
I thought this was supposed to be chronological.
>>91946827
I left this all together because by the end of this story, at least to me, this feels like its Liz reliving these moments that weren't expressly shown. So if I would have chopped this story up and moved it there would only be one page from this story in the "current" timeline of Liz sitting in her own mind with Saa and I didn't like how that flowed in the overall narrative.
If you guys think I should chop up some more stuff I'm open to what ya'll think
>>91947091
God how I hate that guy.
>>91946526
you scared me yesterday OP, you doing ok?
>>91947375
I had to work, next week I have Friday and Sunday off so look for threads then.
>>91947414
great. does that mean no threads tomorrow though?
>>91947439
No, I'll do more tomorrow too.
>>91947453
fantastic news. godspeed
>>91947453
Oh Johann you dog.
>>91947587
It terrifies me how people die in this universe, frogs and hammerheads scare the Shit out of me. I probably would have done the same thing those people did in that park in New York
>>91947678
God I remember first reading that page here.
>>91947139
He has never lied to you.
>>91946691
Doesn't this chick become the exorcist latter on in the series?
Mignola loves fleshing out characters further into the serious.
>>91948107
Yep, Ashley Strode. She also develops a serious case of the Liz Lust.
>>91948193
Liz is always looking good considering she's 50 years old at the end of the series.
>>91947881
kinda gross, been there myself, totally understand him
but gross
>>91948610
Haha lobster still messing with this guy from beyond the grave!
>>91947453
>>91947511
Johann Kraus, now the 'former' master of the no North American no-fap challenge (and also a clever confirmation that those 'perfect' bodies did indeed include dongs.)
That's some 9mm brain surgery right there
Chronoanon, you are great and wonderful, your storytimes are a real treasure.
Thank you for doing this.
>>91948751
Just doing my bit.
>>91944051
i love this, but i also hate it. i just wish they visited him sometimes through johann. it's also seems very similar to what hellboy got in the end.
>>91948846
fucking badass
>>91948844
I think the saddest thing is Hellboy had no idea.
>>91948593
Why are they even surprised anymore when he shows up out of nowhere?
>>91948846
This guy should have joined the bprd!
>>91948913
if he did, i think he would've brought him back somehow, and roger wouldn't dare object.
>>91949312
Everybody treats him like shit but there is no evidence in the end that he was wrong and that his methods wouldn't have worked. Admittedly his methods were not so pleasing but come on, this is the end of the damn world we're dealing with here.
Cut the dude some slack!
>>91946988
there's a bunch of timeskips in this one, so it's probably best to leave it like this.
>>91947109
did you skip johann getting a body by mistake?
>>91949706
That's what I figured and why I left it how it is. Narrative cohesion should be priority.
>>91949751
No, it's entirely dealt with in a flashback a few pages later.
>>91949751
great, he doesn't remember that happening and is now searching instead of posting.
Do your god(damn) work, Chronomignanon. I need to read to forget
>>91949849
nah sorry i realized that after a few pages. misremembered it as if there was a short story dealing with it. memory really is a funny thing.
Did Hellboy lose the title, Anung un Rama, when he defeated that dude who expositioned the entire theology of the Earth during The Island? I'm just catching up.
>>91949885
>I need to read to forget
I know the feeling.
Occasional escapism is what keeps me alive.
>>91949849
>>91949885
all right, you did spend some time in between two pages and those captcha take hours. Wanted to bump and show appreciation on the way. Stack this one too on your pile of 4chan love letters
first year for me and liking it greatly
>>91949885
I strive to be informative as well as supply entertainment
>>91949969
>those captcha take hours
I actually broke down and bought a pass for this years.
>>91949690
>>91949703
Somehow this sequence immediately brought to mind the theme from Eternal Darkness. I think it's the parallels of seeing different stages of an exotic, timeless city.
One of the greatest pages in the Mignolaverse
>>91950323
Agreed, Devon's face is absolutely priceless
>>91947312
>>91947292
>Gets a dick
>Immediately tries to get it wet
Is Johan, German for Chad?
>>91947631
>I've never lied
Only to your self, Martyn. Only to yourself.
Gonna take another little break and be back for another thread
>>91947813
Ah.
"It goes to water," if I remember correctly.
>>91948111
They already put Devon in a military unit?
>>91950807
And then pulled him off. >>91950471
Side note, does anybody else feel like a lot of people in this book slowly morph into unlikable assholes as time goes on? Abe especially, but I think a lot of that has to do with how bad his solo series was.
New thread
91951008
>>91951019
nice link.
>>91949389
He was deluded and self-important.
Using a few secrets from the Left Hand Path to build an army, thinking that he could use it to be a hard man making hard decisions and make his own little paradise. All the while, I seem to recall, he was worshiping Hecate and making up his own little prophecies.
>>91949389
he's a cunt, nothing he does will change that. kinda sad, but he is a cunt so i can't blame the others.
>>91948566
Vril's a hell of a drug. Same thing happened to Hellboy's girlfriend from Fury/Storm, except she had blessings from the fey or something.
>>91950023
Bruno, making them scholar chicks get slick.
>>91946795
>after all you can't keep sending Roger
>Roger
What?
>>91950710
This was honestly one of the coolest missions they pulled off.
Damn, I REALLY want a videogame for BPRD.
>>91949921
Pretty sure it's also his name. It just happens to mean "I'm gonna wreck it".
So many dead threads in the OP now
>>91946795
Seems like just a few weeks ago everyone use to gather around Bruttenholms desk for mission briefings.Getting old ;_;
>>91953594
If you have 4chan x it auto links to the desuarchive
>>91950098
He's back!
>>91950554
I just love the idea behind these guys.
Building machines in the form of monsters that become so attractive to spirits that they turn into actual monsters.
Bump for reading.
