What shows do want to see come back
>>
motorcity and symbionic titan
>>
Out of those probably Hey Arnold. In general Teen Titans
>>
>>79023425
megas xlr or mission hill.
>>
Non really. Let them RIP.
>>
>>79023486
this. they were both cut down in their prime, mission hill especially.

>hey arnold
good show but I think at this point the only thing they can do with it that won't feel like a total cash grab is the jungle movie
>rocket power
shit
>recess
they kind of did revive recess in the form of two direct to DVD movies and they were shit.
>rugrats
meh show, don't hate it but never liked it that much
>>
>>79023425
Rocket Power: All Grown Up
>>
Clone High
>>
>>79024066
extreme sports are so early 2000s though
>>
Megas XLR
Courage
and >>79024116

Out of the OP i would only watch Hey Arnold.
>>
>>79023425
If they didn't fuck it up somehow I would say Hey Arnold.
>>
all of those would feel outdated as fuck to be honest, unless the characters start using iphones and playing with their PS4 and shit and they dressed like 10s kids rather than 90s/early 00s kids
>>
DUCKMAN F4M
>>
>>79023935
this. i don't understand why so many of us openly deride lack or originality inherent in the proliferation of soul-less remakes of old IPs (Smurfs, Alvin, Peanuts, etc. but also Before Watchmen and the continuing Sandman bullshit on the comics side of things) and yet still clamor and get hyped for more of the same (instead of actually new, original ideas).

let it rest. any new content will only make it worse, not better.
>>
>>79023425
None.

But >>79024485 knows what he's talking about

Fucking nothing. I want old good shows to stay dead and not be revived and ultimately fucking ruined.

Make new good original shows instead of having to pander to nostalgia.
>>
Hey Arnold
Doug
Rugrats adult spinoff
King Of The Hill
>>
>rocket power
such shit

squid beefed it
>>
Is this another Timbox setup?
>>
>>79024723
I honestly can't even think of an example where a show's revival wasn't a letdown.

Either the hype was too much and the show didn't meet expectations, or it was pretty good but didn't resonate with new audiences and was canceled after a single season.
>>
>>79025115
The kid's name is actually Moses Mbungu.

And yes it is.
>>
>>79025204
How are you getting these names? Is it more Toonzone bleedover like >>79019524?
>>
>>79024794
Holy damn this. Beat not the bones of the dead.
>>
>>79024441
you don't wanna see an episode of rocketpower where they all get "hoverboards" and they start causing damage with at least one of them exploding and ruining raymundo's shop?

The only episode of Rocket Power I want to see is an animated version of the pasta
>>
>>79024066
>>79024116
what if its about how theyre all washed up adults that the fad is over and dont know what else to do with their lives
>>
>>79023425

HA>>Recess>Rugrats>>>Shit
>>
I just want some closure for Hey Arnold desu.
>>
I can't wait until obnoxious "90s kids" are no longer the main 20-somethings, and thus are no longer pandered to with these old cartoons that need to stay dead.
>>
>>79025711
and otto broke his leg at 14 so badly he's used a cane ever since.
>>
>>79025711
>>79025759
Sounds like something they would do on Robot Chicken

>not wanting a totally radical new Rocket Power series that keeps the early 2000s lingo so nobody but post-ironic hipsters and memers will watch
>>
So is that guy who keeps spamming his youtube show about to appear?
>>
Hey Arnold! and Recess.
Rocket Power and Rugrats can stay dead.
>>
Personally, I wouldn't wanna revive anything. It seems lazy to do so.

That being said, how was Beavis and Butthead's (brief) revival? I recall seeing the occasional promo for it a few years back, but nothing else.
>>
>>79026047
Timbox is in each and every one of us.
>>
>>79026697
Really good surprisingly. Mike Judge can't really do Beavis' voice anymore, but it was a great reboot.

It was also cancelled because it didn't fit MTV's demo. It got great ratings.
>>
Out of the OP image, definitely Hey Arnold! Recess lasted as long as it needed to, Rugrats lasted longer than that, and Rocket Power would be even more retarded in today's age.
>>
>>79023425
>Hey Arnold
It would have tons of social justice bullshit if they brought it back, I'd expect at least one tranny acceptance episode plus probably one where Gerold gets discriminated against by cops.
>Rocket Power
Fuck no
>Recess
It was all right but I probably wouldn't bother to watch new episodes of it.
>Rugrats
That show is beyond played out.

Honestly the only cartoon I'd really want back would be Megas XLR
>>
>>79026801
>>79026801
>It got great ratings.
>didn't fit MTV's demo
>Great ratings
>DIDN'T

Guys I'm worried about MTV, I think there might be lead in their water supply.
>>
>>79025659
But Sheep in the big city had a proper ending
>>
>>79026753
why do you call him that?
>>
>>79025740
This.
>>
>>79025711
Sam was smart
Reggie already had her own business at age 12
Twister can always eat stuff for money
Otto will die from an overdose eventually

I can live with SBT and Motor City going down, and I never got on the GLTAS bandwagon.
But Spectacular Spider-Man and Tron: Uprising getting pulled, that's a fucking crime against good cartoons.
>>
>>79024066

They're already all grown up by All Grown Up's standards. Otto Rocket turned eleven years old in one episode; Tommy Pickles is about eleven years old in All Grown Up!.
>>
>>79023425
Is Tommy holding a turd?

So basically Jackass: The Animated Series?
>>
>>79030286
I would love to see an animated series based on Jackass. Just a bunch of cartoon characters filming themselves in jackass antics.
>>
>>79030396
I dunno. What makes Jackass funny is that its about real people doing cartoonish shit.

If it was just cartoon people doing cartoonish shit, it would probably lose the appeal.

>>79023425
Haven't you learned anything from TTG? Sometimes the show that gets rebooted ain't the same show that comes back.
>>
>>79023425
ALL GROWN UP I REALLY WANT TO SHOUT IT OUT
I really can't think of a show worth rebooting. Maybe MLATR but that got its fair due. Nickelodeon needs a clean slate. Invader zim would be cool but that would never happen kek
>>
>>79023486
Mission Hill cannot come back successfully. It is totally and completely a show from it's era. A very unique period in the late 90s. It cannot be duplicated in current times.
>>
>>79023425
I want recess but older so they call it Free period
It'll be fun because on different days of the week they only have certain kids hanging out together and on other days of the week you see all the kids hanging out together
You get a lot of character interaction and dialogue that you'd never normally get
>>
>>79030922
>Nick needs a clean slate

Does Nick even still have new cartoons? I assumed that the whole channel had been taken over by Spongebob, Fairly Oddparents, and Dan "Get in the Van" Schneider.
>>
>>79030955
It's called UnderGrads
>>
>>79030982
Nick is going to die soon if it doesn't get in the game.
>>
>>79029193
>implying Sam wouldn't discover 4chan and become a virgin NEET
>implying Reggie wouldn't get a useless women studies degree and go full SJW
>implying Twister wouldn't get killed in a car accident as soon as he turned 16
>>
>>79024441
Then why not just keep the show in it's original time period? Why does everything have to have a contemporary setting?
>>
>>79025757
Found the underage.
>>
>>79023425
Inhumanoids or Silver Hawks.
>>
>>79023425
Angry Beavers
>>
>>79023425
Action League Now.
>>
>>79030947
When you put it like that, I'm kind of glad it won't be revived. It just wouldn't be the same.
>>
>>79031619
I don't see the point of reviving any cartoons, to be honest. (Almost) all art is essentially a product of its time. If we were to bring back something which had been dead for years, it could risk losing its original charm in the first place.

Even if the original creator/writers were to come back, who's to say that the intervening years hadn't changed their writing style which made the original work what it is?
>>
>>79023425
Rugrats, if only to figure out what the hell that is Tommy's holding.
>>
>>79031809
It looks like a watch
>>
None, dammit!

Let old shows have their own legacy and allow the new generation to experience their own original media.
>>
>>79031809
It's a worm, I'm pretty sure they used to dig them up in the show and eat them.
>>
>>79023425

recess. but with a different cast. and NO mikey equivalent.

i fucking hate mikey. he whomps.
>>
>>79024001
Nick said they're only planning on doing TJM, no series. It's just a one off special.
>>
>>79033094
This is what I think the majority of the fans want.
Not really a continuation but an ending that ties everything up.
