Is he back on track with ANAD and his MCU debut incoming?
Will Black Cat be his main love interest in the MCU
In retrospect I guess we should thank Nolan for going with such a bland and forgettable incarnation not technically named Catwoman. Also, Halle Berry's shitty version.
I think most normies wouldn't care too much at this point. Doubt any of them remember Michelle Pfeiffer's god tier version.
I want black cat because we don't need to see Gwen die again, or have Spider-Man save MJ from a villian again.
Eh, I don't think I'd call Pfeiffer's cat god tier. Memorable, certainly, but she's not muh cat.
I wouldn't be surprised if we got Black Cat and either Liz or Betty for a triangle.
He's still being written by no-talent hack Slott, who is so bored with Peter Parker he's turned into a bland, boring Tony Stark. So he's nowhere near the track.
The MCU films are supposed to be their version of a John Hughes film. No Felica. You're going to get Peter as Molly Ringwald and either MJ, Betty, Liz or Gwen as his unobtainable crush object until the credits start to roll.
Black Cat, in her 20s, is really into Spider-Man. She kisses him. Then realizes he's just a high school kid, vomits and that's that.
Which is why I really hope they dont do that in the MCU. Peter/Felicia dynamic is awesome in 616. It would suck to not explore that for one funny scene.
It's a shop but if Spidey looked like this, but with the classic symbol, it'd be great and fit in visually with the rest of the MCU costumes
this is awful
give me this or get the fuck out Meme Cinematic Universe
W-woah wait what? The fuck? The fuck does any of this have to do with rape. when has there ever been a thread about Spider-Rape? I read your comment and moved along, but as soon as it registered I clicked back in a fiery fury to make sure I read that correctly
>Is he back on track with ANAD and his MCU debut incoming?
You realize Slott is still writing his ANAD stuff, right?
So short answer: Not even fucking close to being back on track. Book is a still a complete mess.
>Will Black Cat be his main love interest in the MCU
>MCU is pretty superficially influenced by Ultimate,
I don't think that's really true at all. Not in any broad strokes kind of way. MCU Cap and Tony, for example have very little in common with their Ultimate U counterparts. Steve isn't some jingoist asshole (pic related) and Tony isn't some blue skinned regenerating freak of nature, nore does he have a sentient brain tumor in the MCU.
Probably not in the first movie. It is also very likely they'll go with a radically different interpretation of Gwen.
>same story every time she appears
It is painfully clear you've never read a non-Slott related Black Cat appearance ever.
>the end scene in ant man that hints about spider man
Directly from Feige himself:
>“That line was old, actually,” he says. “All that was meant to be very generic.”
That line was written into the movie before the Spider-Man deal with Sony was finalized. It has zero connection to Spider-Man.
Its obviously going to look something like pic related. Hopefully nothing more than visual likeness, though. The Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon is fucking horrendous.
As long as they have the fat spider on the back. Jesus why cant any of the movies get this right.
I'm just nervous because of how glorious the ASM2 suit/mask looked. it was near perfect. it just needed a better spider logo. Fuck, i know I'm going to be disappointed.
I loved the old Toby movies but I hated the shape of those eyes.
ASM's suit looked cheap when it was a real costume on set
Was better in CGI
Personally I prefer Spidey to have good looking suit that looks expensive and well tailored. Fuck realism.
>ASM was nothing like Ditko and Lee, but keep deluding yourself Bendis drone
Nobody said it was. The point is, if you'd bother to read Lee/Ditko stuff, you'd know that Raimi's movies were utter trash, too.
>B-b-but muh Tobey
Yeah, he was pretty goddamn awful in those movies. Unless you like Peter's lines predominantly consisting of "uhh" and "ummm" and "err" and being a complete manchild.
Seems like Slott's books are more your speed.
