How does it feel to know that I would kick your ass in a streetfight?!?!
I have a black belt (the highest rank) in karate.
It took me 5 years to get my belt so now I can proudly consider myselfe a true master.
Since you guys havent mastered any martial art you wont last 2 minutes in a fight against me
Sisters 15, with a second degree black belt and on track to earn her 3rd degree by 21. At witch time also earning the grand master title. your no master, now go make me a sandwich
you can't kick my ass in a streetfight. there will be no streetfight. if i ever run across your ass i'll invite you for a cup of coffee or tea or whatever you fancy and later have consensual sex with you in the missionary position.
well you could try to attack me first for whatever reason willfully knowing you would be the one to throw an attack first and immediately my karambit would be ejected from its sheath and abruptly strike you in the jugular thus ending the altercation and resulting in thriump to the victor. it wouldnt be anything unusual in a normal day for me. i am a mixed martial artist bokochan expert monk. i dont not anywhere seek combat and impose on doing so
You think just cuz your a fighter your exempt from the rules?
alright cunt, but could you beat Uchiha Madara?
And I'm not talking about Edo Tensei Uchiha Madara. I'm not talking about Gedou Rinne Tensei Uchiha Madara either. Hell, I'm not even talking about Juubi Jinchuuriki Gedou Rinne Tensei Uchiha Madara with the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan and Rinnegan doujutsus (with the rikodou abilities and being capable of both Amateratsu and Tsukuyomi genjutsu), equipped with his Gunbai, a perfect Susano'o, control of the juubi and Gedou Mazou, with Hashirama Senju's DNA implanted in him so he has mokuton kekkei genkai and can perform yin yang release ninjutsu while being an expert in kenjutsu and taijutsu. I’m also not talking about Kono Yo no Kyūseishu Futarime no Rikudō Juubi Jinchuuriki Gedou Rinne Tensei Uchiha Madara with the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan (which is capable of Enton Amaterasu, Izanagi, Izanami and the Tsyukuyomi Genjutsu), his two original Rinnegan (which grant him Chikushōdō, Shuradō, Tendō, Ningendō, Jigokudō, Gakidō, Gedō, Banshō Ten’in, Chibaku Tensei, Shinra Tensei, Tengai Shinsei and Banbutsu Sōzō) and a third Tomoe Rinnegan on his forehead, capable of using Katon, Fūton, Raiton, Doton, Suiton, Mokuton, Ranton, Inton, Yōton and even Onmyōton Jutsu, equipped with his Gunbai(capable of using Uchihagaeshi) and a Shakujō because he is a master in kenjutsu and taijutsu, a perfect Susano’o (that can use Yasaka no Magatama ), control of both the Juubi and the Gedou Mazou, with Hashirama Senju’s DNA and face implanted on his chest, his four Rinbo Hengoku Clones guarding him and nine Gudōdama floating behind him AFTER he absorbed Senjutsu from the First Hokage, entered Rikudō Senjutsu Mode, cast Mugen Tsukuyomi on everybody and used Shin: Jukai Kōtan so he can use their Chakra while they are under Genjutsu.
Agreed, Expert level Krav Maga instructor reporting in. Karate is great as a sport, but useless in a real fight.
I would offer to take OP in a fight but I would feel bad attacking an innocent woman who wouldn't be able to defend herself. Besides, Krav is defensive in nature because of how violent it is. If we went picking fights with everyone we didn't like, we'd all be rounded up and imprisoned.
are you retarded
do you even know what karate means? it's simply a term for "fighting with open hands"
there's a dozen of fighting styles behind the term karate, karate itself means nothing apart from fighting with bare hands
>I was promised an animated image
Why would you lie, anon, on the internet of all places?
I do muay Thai but I started with Karate and I'm here to tell you you're full of shit.
A lot of Karate training is really lame and doesn't prepare people properly for a fight, but if taught and applied correctly it's really useful.
Kyoji Hiroguchi, Kid Yamamoto, Lyoto Machida, and even GSP all use Karate style striking so... Karate fighters are usually very adept at closing distance without making their movements predictable, sports style Karate really helps train people for this and a lot of mma places adapt it.
Obviously Katas and flat footed stances you learn aren't useful in a fight but they're for leg conditioning and exercise, not fighting.
>implying this slow kick would hit anyone
either duck and kick her only supporting leg or just use raw power in your hand to block it and counter attack with a strike to her face or torso while she's vulnerable after losing balance
these kicks can be powerful as your body rotation and weight adds a lot of power, but jesus christ, she's slower than a nigger going to an employement office
A BJJ guy would kick my ass royally if he could get me down; the trick is not to let him and knock him the fuck out before he even gets close.
Unfortunately, Krav does have grappling, just very little, as the emphasis is placed on not going to ground. Even against a basic fighter, you're vulnerable to his 5 friends who are standing around you so it's a bad idea.
I'll be honest though, if a Judo guy got me in tight quarters he'd probably own my ass since we have virtually no defence against being thrown, other than to hit the guy before he gets to you. It's about being realistic, and knowing that even an untrained fighter COULD get lucky and knock you the fuck out - hence why we only fight when there's no other choice.
And in all seriousness, I am what I say I am, I hold my rank with KMG UK, Expert Level 2. I realise this is a troll thread but I love discussion. To the anon who commented on Karate not being shite, I'm not saying traditional Karate is shite, it was originally really good and served a military purpose. But the Karate taught nowadays is shite. You'd have to travel a long way to find a Karate instructor that could show you the original fighting style.
Source: I did Karate for 4 years as a teenager until I got into a fight and realised that "blocking" a baseball bat is retarded.
lol if I thought you were a serious threat I'd whack the fucking shit out of you with a chain and then stomp on your head as hard as I could. If you want to survive a street fight get a fucking weapon you stupid bitch. Streetfighting isn't a fucking hobby.
What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I'm the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You're fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You're fucking dead, kiddo.
BJJ sucks for self defense.
BJJ is a competition sport. The B is not a good thing for self defense. It is Bad.
JJ would make sense. Still sucks for self defense. JJ is not a combat martial arts.
Just get a gun or a knife. Problems solved.
Karate doesn't teach you to block baseball bats, I agree with most places teaching it being shit though.
You don't need to go to Japan lmao, what kind of style were you fighting?
Just go to a place that teaches kyokushin/sports Karate, it focus' heavily on sparring and conditioning kind of like muay thai, it's not pussy shit.
That's the problem with krav maga, they teach you all these dumb hypothetical situations but never how to apply it in a real fight. Most people who say they fight krav maga never compete and do terrible in street fights, smh.
That I'll agree with - it's highly trained and hypothetical, but they change techniques completely everytime they find a new one that works "better", and I've had huge disagreements with some of them as they simply aren't realistically applicable in a real fight.
For example, the knife defense is taught for an overhand "icepick" type stab, which is only ever used when attacking you from behind. Except in real life, the attacker comes at you with about 3 - 5 stabs a SECOND aimed right at your vital organs. You might deflect one or two, but not all of them.
While I do teach my students this technique, I also teach them that there's a huge chance of it failing. The only realistic thing you can do is a forward stomping kick to the chest region, turning around, and running. Kicking gives you longer range so even if the knife does nick you, it's in your leg and not your lungs. It should create enough distance temporarily to get away. Knives are no fucking joke no matter how good you think you are, and that's the mistake so many people make - "I know a knife defense, now I can take on anyone".
Karate I did was Shotokan. I didn't know any better back then.
Fag Maga is fucking stupid and everyone who does it can't fight for shit. To actually be able to use a skill you have to practice it in as real a situation as possible. With kickboxing, BJJ etc that's easy because you can just do some hard sparring. In Fag Maga they just play with toy knives and guns, it's just Larping for people who think they're tough.
-Taekwondo WTF style 4 years
-Muay thai 1 year
-BJJ 1 year
Y'all fucktards never been in a ring or had a fight in your lives but talk shit.
All martial arts that are theoretical, are shit. Karate, tkd, Kung fu, etc. And I have a 2nd Dan in karate and 3rd in tkd
Moved over to Thai boxing and boxing. Had 12 pro fights this year. My highlights are on YouTube if anyone is interested.
>While I do teach my students this technique, I also teach them that there's a huge chance of it failing.
This is a good thing to do.
I'm learning jiu-jitsu but the guy who teaches there said a very smart thing during the first weapon defense class: "knives are really dangerous, run first or at least stay as far as you possibly can".
Suppose I wanted to learn a martial art; how long would it take to be anything resembling competent?
And then, supposing I did become highly competent, how easy or difficult would it be to repeat the process with another martial art, and then another, and so on?
Finally, if those martial arts were Tai Chi, Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, Hung Gar Kung Fu, and Baguazhang Kung Fu, what are the respective likelihoods that I would be able to study them at like a class or such? If it's relevant I live in Australia.
well from the video of your kicking your pretty slow power wise those kicks seemed kinda weak, and I would fuck you up Muay Thai fighter here and in bed I would fuck u so hard that you would need a hip replacement
the problem I have heard with women learning martial arts is that they usually only end up considering it a form of gymnastics...... they still don't defend themselves well in real-life confrontations, mainly because they have a serious mental problem with the concept of severely hurting another person, even when their own safety is at risk
I did beat up cutie once, still feel weird about it.
>buddy suddenly asks me to kick his little sister's ass
>"chill, let me explain"
>his sister, 17yo, gets herself in fights all the time
>he sends her to local karate kekushin (I think that's how it's written) club to let her "lose some steam" without getting in troubles
>nope, it gets worse
>he thinks she will calm down after getting her ass kicked by total stranger
>he brings her for grill and to squeeze some off at local range
>topics get to martial arts
>she wants to try me out. Is this girls serious?
>"nah, I don't fight in ring, self-defence only"
>"what? Afraid of getting ass kicked by a girl? Such a bigman?"
>holy shit, she IS serious
>we get on sand
>"are you serious about it?"
>"sure, give me all you're got!"
>"you're afraid of what?"
>kick sand in her face
>she covers her face
>hit her in chest with all 95kg of bodymass I have
>literally knocked her off her feet
>she curls in fetal position, chocking
>act all concerend and shit why getting her up
>"sorry, I thought you can take it, I wouldn't go all out otherwise"
I hope it helped, because it made me feel like shit
I train both Jiu Jitsu as well as Muay Thai, I've experience from earlier years in street fights and I've also trained a few martial arts other than the first two in my past.
Oh, and did I also say I am considering starting out Taekwondo?
I'd probably last a bit longer than 2 minutes.
Not everyone is talking shit some of us fight too...
I also do Muay Thai but I've only been in amateur fights sadly, looking to make the leap to pro but truthfully I'm scared of all the elbows to my head.
>implying Muay Thai and Karate don't teach punching
Muay Thai is very similar to street fighting, a lot of the techniques pass over.
Besides, a guy that spars every day of the week is going to have the upper advantage.
> 5 years true master
> 5 true master
Women's UFC is a joke, and I don't even mean that in a sexist way. Ronda Rousey won almost half her fights by arm bar, do you know how sad that is?
Women's mma has had very little exposure so there is few women who've had the chance to train MMA with really skilled fighters, there's not a woman in the world right now that could beat Ronda in the octagon.
Either way man, that shit was sloppy form, no power, and leaving your face open is asking for trouble.
I never said she was good, I was just asking /b/ro. Holly holm could beat RR. If she keeps it standing up... And she wont...
Also I got fucking dubs
1. Men are naturally stronger than women, a full grown man would tear you apart if he had reason enough.
2. Don't do martial arts, instead, get a weapon and carry it on you. I carry a knife, and If I ever got into a fight with you for whatever reason, let's just say knife>skin. Cut up fighter = no more fight.
As a Judoka, I agree with your reasoning. On a one-to-one fight, Judo is possibly the most powerful combat sport in the world. Of course if we get surrounded it becomes a problem (we are taught striking, but very little, almost and inverse of Krav Maga).
Have you ever been to a street fight mate? The opponent is stoned from the andrenaline and anger towards you. You'll be expecting punches elbows and kicks/seeps like your faggot spar "partners" do but in exchange you'll get a flurry of punches like he's swimming like motherfuckin' Michael Phelps. Don't think that a spar is the same with a fight mate cause you'll regret it.
Lady, it's not about who cries, dammit. (Another reason women shouldn't fight). It's about who live or who walks away with less damage to their body. Besides, the time this kind of fighting mattered is when our ancestors didn't have tools, and that was a LOOOONG time ago. Get yourself something more than pepper spray.
Thing is, even with all that adrenaline pumping, most of the "street fighters" (God forbid that's an awful and patethic term), don't know shit about actually throwing punches. You can claim that he'd throw a flurry of punches his way, but either way they wouldn't be as good as the guy who's trained to punch and kick for several years, as well as actively training to block and dodge them.
Oh, and did you by any chance exclude the risk of you having pumping adrenaline too? Adrenaline pumps when you are in distress, and I doubt that unless you're on pro levels, you'd be capable of staying completely zen-calm.
What kind of damage can you do when you're fucking mace? Have you ever been pepper sprayed, because i was one time and god damn i couldnt open my eyes for 2 hours. Also I am not lady
Jiu-Jitsu is the art of fighting when you've lost your Katana. I very much doubt that our ancestors did not have tools back then. Heck, Krav Maga is all about using whatever you can to bring your opponent to the floor. Aikido is the art of the sword. Etc, etc.
Judo? You mean the "sport" that has no strikes and spends a lot of time exposed on the ground? Ya, that would work great in a street fight with multiple people. BTW, I have many years practicing Judo. I am now involved in Krav Maga and it seems to me to be one of the best self defense systems out there.
The excact same reason I dont want to move up to pro either, im moving to Italy next year and I know a trainer whos gonna pick me up as a straight boxer instead of the thai boxing I do now.
my hands are strong enough that if she let even one hand near her neck (anywhere, including clavicals) she drop. a quivk crush grip to the throat, muscles around the juggulat, broken clavical etc is more than 99% of people know how to handle.
"Normally, pepper spray is about one quarter effective. This means that in the initial few seconds the attacker is rendered immobilized. Since the peak time intensity induces multiple uncomfortable reactions, it buys you time to get into escape mode. It's in the first few minutes when the assailant is incapacitated due to the swelling of the mucous membranes. Take advantage of this window and get to safety. "
This from this link http://www.safetyed.org/howeffectiveispepperspray.html#.VNy4BxF8PIU
OK let me straight it out for you guys thgat learn karate, judo, BJJ, muay thai, wing chun or any kind of martial art. What you are learning isn't the true martial art that was devoped in the past. The one you learn is a total disgrace to martial arts and a bastardised version that was/is and will be taught as a sport. You learn it with the illusion that it's a sel- defence system but it's only a sport that's made to combat the same techniques from the opponent. If someone that is trained in a system that can anticipate every kind of attack and counter it and attack at the same time well then you're are screwed
The White Eyebrow priest is bent on destroying Shaolin. He meets resistance from a Shaolin fighter but kills him eventually. Now it's up to his son to combine his father's tiger claw style with his mother's crane technique to take down the evil priest.
Have you even set foot in a place that teaches muay thai you fucking retard?
During fight camps I come home with black eyes and bruised shins, I cracked a rib last year and had to take a month break too.
It's not pussy, it's called conditioning for a reason. YOU DO get flurries of punches thrown at you when you compete, it's a similar adrenaline rush, the guys out for victory and gives it all.
The problem with your kicking technique is that kicking will take more time than a block.
If you have enough time to see the kick, process it, shift your weight and kick, you have plenty time to just use your hands and deal with it.
So about a year ago I got involved with Hapkido to relieve stress through martial arts, but now I am interested in actually being able to defend myself. Where do I go to become involved in Muy Thai in America?
Dude you honestly have no clue what you're talking about... BJJ was barely created 30 years ago and it isn't intended to be used on its own.
Kickboxing and muay thai are as bare bones as it gets when it comes to fighting, it's all elbows, knees, punches, and low kicks, and focuses HEAVILY on "take one leave one", ie conditioning drills where you just smack eachother and get used to taking hits.
Have you even watched a pro muay thai fight in your life? There's plenty of videos online of muay thai being used in street fights too, so shut you mouth.
This isn't some stupid shaolin monk bullshit, it's just fucking kickboxing. Saying a pro muay thai fighter like Buakaw won't do well in a street fight is like saying Mike Tyson won't do well in a street fight.
I'm from Canada so I wouldn't know, but just google search "muay thai *insert your city name here*" and you'll find a place.
Just make sure they compete and focus on conditioning. All American kickboxing is also a good place to start, it's very similar but it excludes elbows and knees and a bit of the clinch fighting found in muay thai.
The pepper spray I bought and tried it on me was expensive and the guy at the shop said its the most powerful, dont know about the peak time in this article but I literally could not open my eyes for 2 hours because it hurts really bad
>Goes to block first kick
>Head jolts to the side
>Doesn't see second kick
>Addled and disoriented
>Still has hands hovering like an idiot
>Third kick knocks OP into sweet slumber
I bet you'd really give it to her anon :)
You might be a little brain damaged from all the punches you took. I didn't say that you didn't know how to take a punch. My point is that you learn to take punches from muay thai fighters. If you battle with someone that is trained in a system that expects all kinds of atacks then you're toast. Muay tthai has the most predictable attacks that you can think of. That's why you focus on power to break throw someones defence.
The belts are just for show, they don't really mean anything.
Okay, so what techniques in Muay Thai are so predictable?
Hooks, uppercuts, jabs, and teeps are all "predictable" now, lol. Again, you're just making yourself look stupid and un-experienced. Muay Thai has very little techniques that are unique to Muay Thai, it pretty much is street fighting with the ground taken out of it. Also you can throw any kind of punches you want, it's not like there is rules that ban it.
What kind of system would you suggest then?
inb4 mma becuase mma is literally muay thai with bjj or another grappling art thrown in.
As she goes to pull her karate nonsense I draw a small revolver and shoot her in the leg. She goes down screaming before I cut off her shirt and pants, slicing off her panties I stuff them into her mouth because I can't stand her screaming anymore. I punch her a few times to soften her up before pulling out my cock and forcing myself into her disgusting sweaty cunt. I cum inside of her, her tears stain the ground of the dark alleyway and mix with the blood from her leg wound. I slide my fingers into the bullet wound and twist them around as she struggles and finally works her panties out of her mouth, she begins crying out and screaming in pain. I punch her repeatedly in the face, breaking her nose and knocking out multiple teeth, her cheeks puffy and bruised - she looks at me and mutters "Why?"
As I rape her still freshly cummed in pussy I look her in the eyes as I wrap my hands around her neck.
I cum inside of her just as the last struggle for life finishes. She voids her bowels and pisses all over the blood and cum soaked ground. Dead and raped, I piss on her bleeding face and go about my way.
On the way home, I buy some Doritos Locos Tacos.
No I don't consider MMA to be better than muay thai. MMA is as you sayed 90% muay thai. At the moment I'm training in Choy Mok Pai. It's a southern chinese martial art that emphasizes in self-ddefence. And before you say anything I don't consider it better cause
>HURR DURR BETTER CAUSE BRUCE LEE JET LI SHAOLIN AND CHINESE MARTIAL ARTS ARE BETTER HURRRR
I consider it better because I've seen it in action against others on the street, and not from a highly trained person that years of experience but from a slightly-ove-a-year student
Im an average sized guy who has trained extensively in bjj, krav maga and muay thai who started with karate (and have done a bit of various other martial arts as well).
I have worked as a bouncer most of my working life.
I can safely say that although the training has been useful, powerlifting and a rough childhood help more.
I will thrash anyone in here by distracting you with my top hat and fine moustache and using my superior Canne de combat.
Shut up you muppet. When people come on 4chan boasting about how they're pretty much super saiyan. You're just delusional, go back to sucking milk out of your mum's tits. I do muay thai and have for 8 years but not gonna bullshit and say I'm over 9 fucking thousand. I'm good but who gives a shit. Few people seem to not be bullshitters too but most are. Anyway few decent martial arts out there what I know but obviously depends where you are. I love Muay Thai but very rare to find a good gym in the UK, most are shit. Other than traditional karate which is rare as well, loads of cons saying they teach it but can't fight themselves. BJJ is good and krav maga where taught properly but condition your shins on muay thai and you can beat boxers with only two of your eight limbs and kickboxers are laughable like boxers.
Honestly, condition your shins and you can kick steel, rock full on without feeling a thing as you microfracture your shin. Cba going into detail but look into it. Every other martial artist have shitty shins and you can usually beat most people exploiting that weakness. The fun is when they've also conditioned their shins so it's a challenge.
Holy fuck I'm done with you, you tell me that martial arts are bastardized and and do you no good in a fight and then you tell me you're taking some stupid obscure MA that nobody even uses.
You're an idiot, if your martial art was so effective it'd be used in mma. Do you guys even do conditioning? I bet you'd take one shot to the liver and wince up like a little girl and collapse, it's easy to talk shit when you can't take hits.
Whatver suits you mate. I'm not gonna argue with anyone here anymore, and take this as a defeat ot not. I'm gonna stick in this thread however to try and troll answer some guys and try to make them an hero
