I drive a der fuck with a him crim craw lift kit an sister fuckin station in the back
no lift or anything. roof visor w/ aux lights (from P.O.) and westin brush guard.
Does the job of hauling my dirt bike around and towing my project car when necessary. Gas mileage is killing me since now my commute is like 20 mi.
>having a vehicle in 2015
Public transport, walk.
2000 z71 Tahoe(old style body because of limited edition package)
two tone seats
switching to a 2004 explorer Eddie Bauer
two tone paint and seats. Black with gold trim.
Wooden Paneling on the inside
Very nice truck just needs some work.
My dad don't have the money to buy a truck like mine so no I'm currently making payments on it. And when you have 4 grand to spend on tires and rims and you can go buy whatever you want.
mah Chevy nigga
2000 Silverado 2500 4x4 6.0
1981 Toyota Hilux 4x4 22R 4spd
My New Ride I'll pick up after this winter dies down. Going to drive this explorer into the dirt while serve in the US Army for 3 years starting 16 months from now.
What if you need a truck for work, dumb faggot
yeah white guy bling until guys like you that say that call me every 2 weeks "can i borrow your truck to pick up a couch?" "can i borrow your truck to take some stuff to the dump?" "can i borrow your truck to pick up my new fridge?"
I live in Michigan if you take public transportation you're either an immigrant or dirt poor.
Walking isn't reasonable it takes me atleast 30 minutes of walking to get into the part of town I work, like 30 more to get where I need to go in town.
This isn't new york douchebag
I actually use my truck for useful things
Acceptable, my apologies.
30 minutes to work. How fat are you?
30 minutes to get to the part of town, 30 more minutes(more like 50) to get to the hospital once I enter the Ann Arbor.
Not to mention there arn't sidewalks on the roads i'd be walking on and everyone would stop asking if I wanted a ride like im a peasant because it's 45mph through there.
According to google maps walking time is 1hr 20 minutes from my house to work.
Not to mention I have to run errands all the time as I'm an intern.
what brand lift you fucks w/ chevys running? Almost bought a 6" suspension from superlift but bought a new dirt bike instead. Maybe once I get the zed street ready and commutable I'll lift the truck.
its true though, fuck if i would ever take public transportation.
a) not waiting for the fucking bus in -40c Canadian winter
b) shits not going to take you out of town on trips
c) fuck being crammed with smelly dirty people
i took the bus for one year of college and it drove me fucking bananas enough to start driving there instead
none, ive never found the need for a lift even offroad
I drive a black ranger.
It does the trick for me.
I agree with this guy 100 percent, and i own 4 trucks. They're pretty much just jewlery for faggots now.
Hit the skid plate like 5 times and high centered twice over like .5 mi before I turned around on a 4x4 trail in Zion natl park.
all depends on what you want to do. If we're talking dirt roads, then of course not. I mean my bike can do pretty much anything but for camping and shit its nice to have the truck
>pic is my old jeep
used to drive this piece of shit. learned how to drive stick on it. I miss it sometimes.
yeah come drive northern Canadian roads and tell me you dont need a 4x4 truck
Intern piece of crap.
Walk you piece of shit. Stop contributing to traffic. Co2. Save money.
Win win win you dumbass
Niggers have the need to display wealth. It's because they're very materialistic because they're easily brain washed by Corporate propaganda. Or they confuse culture and money
I was going to get the one with bilstein shocks
Mine's a 1500. so fuckin torsion bars up front. The old jeep was much more simple. Of course it rode like shit.
God damn it's fun driving in snow. Just north of Detroit, and I'm getting a 4x4 truck ASAP and putting off-road tires on it (with a small lift for clearance) just because I want to be able to whoop around backroads in the snow without fearing for my life. Would get a Jeep but I need that V8 and long wheelbase for towing, plus the bed will be handy for moving plywood (will finally be able to stop using my mom's minivan)
Where I am from that is normal. I am talking about all the niggers with lift kits who spend all their money on these trucks but live in a shitty trailer. You also see this with Mexicans and their low riders. Niggers try to display as much wealth as possible to get people to think they have money
My truck before I bought it.
2006 F150 Crew Cab XLT 5.4 L Triton Texas Edition
>3/4 ton truck
>not a big truck
It's a fucking huge truck. No matter where you are it's a fucking huge truck. Even if everyone has one it's still a fucking huge truck. You can't get much bigger than that without a CDL.
Niggers spend exorbitant amounts of money on stupid shit because they have been raised to believe that that shit makes them look successful.
You from round Texas?
Cause I am and this sums up where I live
It's not just Texas, although in other places the niggers tend to get all sorts of Lincolns and Cadillacs, and are particularly fond of GMC Denalis of all sorts.
You the guy with the Hemi 2500? Twin turbo on a 5.7 sounds brutal.
I actually own acreage.
I have a built mustang, and a bronco.
There are hunting roads out here that have never seen a dozer or grader. Many you couldn't get down unless you have atleast 33"s, and alot of trucks have issues with full articulation with that size of tire- thus the lifts.
Not everybody lives in the city. Although I've lived in San Diego, Vegas, Houston- and the majority there are mall crawlers with soccer moms that have put it in 4 wheel drive once while going to the ski lodge- but you fail to realize how much of the population has a life outside of your narrow vision.
Oh god, the douchebag. Please, for the love of god, take the wheels off. They're killing your looks, your MPG, and your ride quality all at once. I would add that they kill your off-road capability, but I doubt you've ever taken that thing off of dry pavement. You probably even garage it for the winter, you sick fuck.
I wish my hemi was twin turbo'd, but thats not me
Yeah, noticed after I posted yours isn't lifted and is running stock wheels. Quick question: why didn't you go diesel? Seems like you tow enough to make up the cost in fuel savings....
Well you're right by saying I garage it for the winter and how it doesn't leave dry pavement. If I wanted to go off-road if take my Cherokee. If I want to blow the doors off card at the drag strip i'll take my truck.
I roll with this piece of shit, still gettin laid.
Also huge cock and benchpress 225 lbs.u mads
Ford's built after the 80's are shit-tier, son.
I wouldn't pay $15k for it in that form. By running the lift and all-terrains you're actively killing your dragstrip performance just so you can look like a douche.
Indeed. As is I'll probably be settling for a gasser because of budget issues.
No thanks. Not a Ford guy.
thanks man! I actually recently painted it blue and did some other stuff and this is what it looks like today
My niggas only real trucks in this thread
I live in Finland, so your post is invalid. Never needed 4x4, rwd is all you need if you are not a retard.
As you can see from the image we were in woods, not that much snow though in the image, but it went all the way even with over a foot of snow without any mudtracks, A/T etc. rubbers. It was scrubbing all the way, but never got stuck. U mad?
bowtie or die
Not saying there aren't good engines but what good is it gonna do for you, when the rest of the damn truck falls apart? As far as maintenance goes, unless you plan on going to college just to do so, you're really only gonna be able to do basic mechanical labor. Of course you can always follow those YouTube vids that may or may not fuck your vehicle up.
Not a Google pic
forgot pic like a dumb nigger
pic related is a pic from google, i have a '02 chevy silverado 1500, only difference is mine has running boards and a soft top bed cover.
Fucking right! Proud of it you sissy as fuck
ITT: 90 percent of faggots who think it's just cool to have a big truck but don't use it for anything
>hurr i'm going to get my truck lifted
>"Oh, do you have a hitch so I can hook up my trailer or something"
Up where I live something that age would've rusted apart 20 years ago.
It's sad because modern minivans are actually pretty capable. The V6 in dodges is rated at 285HP.
>rwd is all u need
>scrubbing all the way
There's a difference between driving and avoiding getting stuck. A 4x4 truck is highly recommended in that weather simply because it makes it easier to drive. Just because it's not absolutely necessary doesn't mean it's not a very good idea.
I've seen the beds and rockers rust out completely, but I've never seen a 7.3 that fell apart. They rust away, but never in a way that affects the capability of the truck.
Not owned, see >>597245056
It's a completely different guy.
I have an '89 on air with a 350 swap
haha noo i had an air compressor, and i'm broke as hell, so i just bought a gallon of alkyd paint, and painted it. the old paint was so bad, oh and i didn't clear coat it, but it looks better than it did ( at least in person)
all of these are pretty nice
mine (its on a truck platform).
If I hadn't bought the truck and lowered it, it would've problably been scrapped. Or turned into a work truck and driven until it blew up.
fuck then i didn't notice, i just laughed at it being a dodge. it's just a hemi?
you little boy, get a real truck. my 83 chevy would do just as much as your pos dodge. and that is only a 450
i also run an '12 f150, and s10
then a twin turbo f350 lariet long bed crew cab with a bunch of other shit im not going to bother mentionining but it looks stock.
nope.. here. see
I used to have one of these without the wing.
and that is before i got new wheels & tires.
im not a faggot who's going to put all this bullshit on the outside. i invest in what works. i don't use a drw because it is not practical for my needs.
Different strokes, different brushes, amirite?
I'm no Ford guy, But that's awesome!
any of you fuckers know anything about MR2's? i found an mr2 in the middle of fuck nowhere "aka my town" and its been on an accident. but its not that big so the car should work fine.
if you guys have any time whether i should grab this asap or leave it lemme know please.
Sorry, saw someone bragging about twin turbos and assumed it was the guy who already stated that he has twin turbos. He's probably a Ford guy too. Actually, he's prolly this guy >>597246501
I get that, but still why on earth would he ever drop it that low? It doesn't look good, and you can't really drive it like that...
1995 GMC sonoma. The thing had so many problems I fixed. Getting rid of it soon. Suggestions on next truck? ps this is not my truck in the pic, mine is white.
Oh. Did you have to thin the shit out of it? n how much did you spend on that? You know there are some pretty decent paints you can get for relatively cheap. like under $150/gallon. Even kirker has decent stuff. They make a nice single stage urethane for under $100/gal.
find me a 7.3 that gets the mileage with output of a 6.0.
a 7.3 with low miles is incredibly rare, further, they're not any more practical for what i do. when i have heavy hauling more then what this truck will do, guess what? i pay someone. i'm in the agricultural business and i need to haul some loads around 20k lbs. simple as that.
a 7.3 burns a lot more fuel, same with getting a 4.7 rear end or higher. i need high end pickup from the start and that's mostly it. i am in the mountains of the Appalachians. i don't need flat out speed, i need torque and agility.
Why it is recommended? Really don't get the point. I've driven 13 years without a 4wd and never had problems with DRIVING, doesnt matter of the sufrace and terrain. Seen 4x4 drivers slam it off the road because they don't know how to drive in the snow, just relying on the 4x4. Saw this lately in Wisconsin when it snowed a little few days ago, had to pull 3 faggots from the ditch on my way to work and I'm here just visiting.
Motherfucker, 4x4 is maybe necessary if you go offroad, big time.
My Nigga. Same Here, black body with red sides.
Currently in this. Its more luxury then truck since its the LTZ so I may be switching to a dodge ram for that HEMI power. Gotta love a chevy either way
I owned a 2004, super easy to work on. its the same 2zz thats in the celica
the older 90's ones are just as easy, just a turbo 1zz. your absolutely right about your friends dad though, every time it went in for warranty the dealer hated them and acted like they were some kind of spaceship. i also think people who work at dealers are fucking idiots so...
Yes it's mine. You can buy the kit for about $60-$80 depending on brand and number of doors then you just have to find someone who can weld and not forget to relocate hood release incase battery dies
96 F250 4x4 Powerstroke. Just rebuilt the ole rustbucket in the fall
He was referring to reliability. 6.0s are notorious for dying early, even when 'bulletproofed'. You can build a 7.3 to output more than a 6.0 without sacrificing reliability.
Because 4x4 makes it harder to fuck up, and easier to recover from a fuckup, with minimal extra hardware. I don't have any problems driving RWD in snow either, in fact I turn off traction control in snow because I like to whoop around corners, but I still want 4x4 just in case I fuck up.
herpderp, disels were designed to run on peanut oil for one, so what does that matter that original diesels were straight 6?
second, a semi cummins is much, much different then a cummins in a dodge. so that they both have cummins in the title is about as relevant as two phones that both say LG.
You think I'm driving this piece of shit if it's over foot of snow in the forrest? Would burry it from the axles..
Seems like it's 3 foot now back home, and that's typical. Few winters ago had almost 5 and still no probs. Just have to have right machines.
Under foot of "real snow" just got whole wisconsin on it's knees you faggot. Even the canadian was wearing a fucking ski mask lulz
Don't you think I know that? I'm the owner of this PeterCar
Mine's only at 160k. I've long since removed the cap, got rid of the shitty stickers on the front from the previous owner, and got new mirrors since some asshole clipped one off. It's not a bad truck for how small it is. I just wish the 4 wheel drive cooperated in mine.
'14 Sierra fag lurking
>You think I'm driving this piece of shit if it's over foot of snow in the forrest? Would burry it from the axles..
Exactly, why do you think Americans have trucks, because this shit be snowy. In freedomland not every road is plowed.
>Under foot of "real snow" just got whole wisconsin on it's knees you faggot.
city folk. worthless, as i'm sure yours are too.
It doesn't matter that the first diesels were straight-6. Straight-6 is master race because it is naturally balance like any inline engine, makes more power than an inline-4, and doesn't have the excessive crank strain of an inline-8. What does diesels being designed to run on peanut oil have to do with anything? That's like saying gassers can run on wood, you're not wrong you're just spitting random tidbits of information. The fact that it's a Cummins IS significant, because Cummins has a reputation for strong, reliable diesels.
I don't know what you're implying with that city folk comment and I don't want to read your post to find out, but I live in a big city and sometimes despite plow trucks best effort a small car isn't gonna drive
reliable, yes. strong, debatable.
but cummins in real trucks are what matter, not in dodges.
dodge was about to fail with their trucks and two things saved them:
Walker Texas Ranger
and Cummins in their diesel
I have one exactly like this one. 1993 gmc sierra/c1500. 4.3l
Post pic of your vehicle. I'd be willing to bet it's a shitheap too.
Not referring to specifically the engines in Rams with the 'strong' bit, just referring to Cummins engines in general (particularly their big rig setups and industrial engines)
Cool Google pic, now what do you actually drive?
Even though I have one in my other rig, I will never own a dodge diesel again. I have had 6 5.9L Cummys and the last one pissed me off so much I went and bought this in March 2011. Best switch ever. C'mon
I'm from Texas
Here they're pretty much just road bullies. Everyone of these dickheads is wearing Oakley sunglasses and has that boring military buzz cut. Most of them are full of shit trying to act like they grew up in the country You'll see trucks like OPs all the time parked in apartment complexes. They're paying more for their trucks than they are for their rent.
This guy has it right. Nothing wrong with trucks but these dipshits have ruined it.
Pic you posted of the "weather" in you'd need "the truck" is just a normal rain of snow in Finland. I can believe your skills to estimate "foot of snow" are on the same level as average american estimating range from a to b "5 minute walk" or "about a mile or sumtn" where the truth was almost 3 miles..
Dude, your arguments are as retarded as your country. <3
I attached a pic where's a foot of fresh snow..
I'm partial to dodge, but damn do those 6.7 strokers haul ass, i got to ride in a friends and i was blown away by its speed. How can you put up with how quiet the engine is though? Personally, I like to hear my truck working
Don't know why I'm getting so much hate for my truck. It's badass nothing too big
Had a Ferret same as this.
Failed 3 times getting it registered for road use and ended up selling for same as I paid but a loss for all the registry attempts.
Was worth a try but a shame, local paintballers use it for games now.
They're also not yours. Post an actual timestamped pic of a Cobra and I'll believe you.
Not by much. A full-size pickup with a v8 can get 20mpg all day long, meaning that your Prius, which loses anything resembling acceleration when you put more than 500lbs in it, is only twice as efficient as a vehicle that weighs twice as much, not counting the contents of the bed. Priuses are terrible vehicles, simply because they sacrifice capability in the name of efficiency, and then fail to deliver the efficiency.
After listening to this CAT for 3-5 days it's nice to have something quiet and quick off the line. And yes sir, it has more than enough power off the lot.
It was a clone fucktard. It was a 96. Mine has the same fiberglass running boards
2/10 for making me get out of my chair.
thanks for the help.
i love sidestep trucks. f150 more than chevy's.
Why'd you lover the truck man? it looks terrible imo. its bad enough that you lose clearance for that hideous running board. and lowering it even more? might as well be a corolla height
Do you not know how to properly reply? I can guarantee you that truck doesnt have a v6 because with an exhaust like thst no one wants to hear a v6 Louder than stock lol. Also that fiberglass shit is gay trucks should have ground clearance.
you act like if your country wasn't socialist as fuck you wouldn't drive big ass trucks. its your taxes buddy. its capitalism. its deregulation, and its natural. you act like you wouldn't own an SAKO if you could. if you could, you would so buy a big truck or SUV
I haven't lowered mine. Mine still is stock height. These are pics from a craigslist ad. Mine is a stepside too. I just grab ideas from random people.
