Here's the proper camera angle for AJ Style's debut, lads
His theme is crap honestly. Is it really "ain't no sunshine"?
even gaytch, deep down, doesn't think that he's the GOAT
glad how rumble ended and hyped to see wwe made great again by based haitch
butthurt af that their favorite outlaw darlings didn't win even tho they're jobbers and manlets
/asp/ies get the FUCK out
>HHH/authority comes out celebrates
>IT'S ROMAN REIGNS
>AND HE'S STEWING, HE'S BEEN SCREWED AGAIN BY THE AUTHORITY
>Congrats Hunter, now I want my rematch... at Wrestlemania!
>Well that's great Roman but you don't call the shots, I do.
>You can have your rematch tonight, but only after you face the entire League of Nations in a gauntlet match.
>Neuteral authority figure ("the board" or maybe Linda) comes out and gives him the rematch at Wrestlemania to the disgust of the Authority and delight of Roman's stupid face
>He'll go over HHH to become the three time champ
No way. He got a lovely chorus of boos the second his music hit. 2 years and still he's getting lukewarm reactions, sometimes downright poor reactions. He's 'over', but not as over as THE guy should be. Compare his reactions to Cena's.
I don't know if they'll ever stop. If he still gets booed after being HHH then there's no chance he'll ever be over.
How did the director fuck up that so much? Did Vince tell him to stick to Roman's face, as if we thought his reaction was important?
This is how:
I have a weird feeling that AJ will actually go after Owens meaning he'll be stuck in midcard tier and get involved with a love triangle with Ziggler and a random diva
>That Suck it chop after he knocked Reigns out
I'm losing my shit here, I just know if I was watching it live it'd probably be my top markout moment of the year even though it's still young. I thought Reigns would win it though so didn't bother
booking himself as the champ because he have the power to do that, doesn't mean that he himself believes that he's the literal GOAT
after all these years, he still tries to prove something, that he's the best and better than austin and rock, and that shows how paranoid triple h is
literally the definition of the b- player compared to austin and rock
Trips being champ isn't what's wrong
What's wrong is that in a couple of months he's gonna drop it to Reigns and make him a 3-time champion
> Bray Wyatt now in a program with Lesnar for WrestleMania
> Inevitabily loses his 3RD WrestleMania match in a row
He's kinda like the new Undertaker, starting a streak...
YOU SEE ROMAN THE THING IS YOU'RE NOT A BIG DOG, NO ONE CAN REALLY BELEEB DAT YOU'RE EVEN CLOSE TO MY LEVEL
AND AS I AM ONE OF THE A+ PLAYERS AND THE GREATEST CHAMPIONS-AH IN THE HISTORY OF THIS BUSINESS, THE BUSINESS THAT I LOVE AND I ALWAYS DO WHAT'S BEST FOR IT YOU WON'T GET YOUR REMATCH, BUT YOU CAN HAVE A MATCH RIGHT NOW
*LoN theme hits*
>Kevin Owens lost but still went over as fuck tonight
At best he was a bit over when he beat up Triple H and when he won the WWE title the second time on Raw. After that, he started with the promos and that weird ass smile and thing turned sour prety quickly.
Literally the loudest booos of last night. Triple H got a huge pop both when he entered and when he eliminated Reigns
I agree. As much as I dislike Haitch I could tolerate him being champ if this weren't such a blatant attempt to get Roman over. If there was a chance somebody else could take the title.
Trips going over so many young stars was all just for Roman Reigns. He may not have won the match but he sure as hell buried everybody in it regardless.
Let's 'hypothetically' say, he wins against bork CLEAN.
How does that change things?
>yfw AJ comes out tonight and starts a feud with Roman and Haitch leading to a triple threat match at Wrestlemania when he wins his first WWE title
Let's not forget that Jericho was in for about 50 minutes
>COME ON BAYBAY
>gets thrown out
> Reports of Aries and AJ's shirts selling like hotcakes
I meant more in the sense of not many great spots happening. The most enjoyable thing was Owens setting two chairs in the ring and sitting on em.
>sets a table
>gets elbow dropped through it
>sets two tables on top of each other
>thrown through them
>thrown through them
That was beyond predictable
>The Wyatts are ruined beyond any redemption at this point
Hurts, but true.
And that's why I can't get hype for Brock vs Bray.
>Because he's still feuding with Dean Ambrose
There's no evidence of that
> and just gained another indy rival.
That's the whole thing we're disputing. There's no solid need for him to jump into a feud with AJ
Hey guys I literally teared up a little when Sasha got that huge pop when she attacked Charlotte. I've no idea why this brought tears to my eye, maybe it was seeing her in the spotlight on her own after all time of being on the main roster.
So i hasnt ever seen AJ besides the Gay community meme pics but i remember people lauguing at anons that sugested he wast a midget.
SO i was expecting a huge guy or at least Orton tier and what i got was a fucking vanilla midget.
And worse, he was such a non factor in the rumble that i cant see him being nothing more than a midcard.
Waste of a Rumble slot desu.
>tfw for a second i thought Haitch would do the right thing and put Ambrose over and build a new main event star
>mfw Haitch just being Haitch and putting the future of his talent and the company aside and booking himself to be champion once again at 46 fucking years old
Anyone who thinks WWE is going to get better once Vince McMahon dies is in for a rude awakening.
You mean Jericho was calling shots? I am still not sure how wrestling actually works, I know they talk to each other and you notice it sometimes, I laughed with there was a blotch near the beginning of the match between Dean and Kevin, Kevin Owens shouted something at him about you're following me lol.
I guess it makes sense, Jericho is a veteran and there's so many new guys these days.
Yeah, every rumble there's usually one guy who runs it from the inside, there's a reason why they would walk over to Jericho, look at him, then walk away. Plus I mean there's no other reason for him to be in their for 50 minutes at his age.
>Bill the Rumble as 1 vs 29 for Roman.
>Roman is taken back to rest around 15 and then comes back out at 29.
You honestly can't defend this even as a Roman fan because it's making the guy YOU LIKE look weak and incapable of doing the challenge they gave him
>All those eliminations
>Pinfalls the past few weeks
>"Bye bye AJ"
Is the GOAT ascending?
The crowd was a smarky crowd and seemed like it had a lot of NXT fans in it, who adore Banks. Plus she was gone for about a month with no explanation.
It was more team bella vs pcb. Sasha has been kept away from Charlotte until now.
Yeah, Jericho's one of the smartest men WWE currently has at their disposal despite the fact he's meant to only be doing house shows. I mean I hate his I'm a hip and cool dad gimmick but Jericho's still pretty good at what he does.
You know it to be true
Anyone else here marked out hard as fuck when Social Outcasts came out because they thought it was Jeff Hardy? I'm pretty sure the crowd thought that considering their pop.
>triple h Katie Vick burp laugh
>triple h troll yell before wrestlemania
>triple h invisible shirt vs Batista while Ric flair cheeses
>triple h pedigree almost kills a guy
What other goat botches has he done
>Ryback being booed the shit out of him.
Ryback to job up to Wrestlemania.
>That huge pop for Owens.
Owens to have MotN at Wrestlemania.
>tfw going to have to sit through a 3 hour shitfest tonight to wait for a 3 minute aj styles segment
They also wanted him to sign a new contract after that, but Christian went to TNA instead.
>mfw imagining Christian going to TNA in 2016
What's realstically happening at Wrestlemania:
>HHH vs Roman (WWEWHC match)
>Sting vs Taker
>Dean vs Sheamus (IC match)
>Brock (w. Paul) vs Bray Wyatt (w. Wyatt family)
>KO vs Sami Zayn
>Kalisto vs Neville (US match)
>Sasha vs Charlotte vs Becky
>Tag team shenanigans
>Andre the giant jobber memorial
I hope not, but I think its totally happening.
Is Sting in condition to fight?
No. Its going to be Dean vs Jericho
Yes, and its going to be awesome.
KO need a bigger role, maybe AJ or a triple threat
New day rocks
>WWEs new ace is really good in the ring but struggles to connect on the mic
>Smarks hate him
>Smarks love Triple H
>Both of WWE's two top heels are fat asses
>/mlp/ has the tag team title and fans love it
>The divas match was the best match on the card
>AJ Styles is in WWE
>Shinshuke Nakamura is about to debut in WWE
>John Cena will not appear at Wrestlemania
Sting dead, bro.
>HHH v Roman WHC
>Dean v Jericho IC
>Kalisto v Sheamus US
>KO v Zayn
>Taker v Strowman
>Brock v Bray
>Sasha v Charlotte
>New Day v Usos v Dudleys - table/TLC
>Couple of midcard fillers like ADR v Ziggler and Ryback v MIz or some shit
>Andrew the jobber giant memorial service
>tfw Dean could've
and should've
been both IC and WWEWHC in the same night.
>>WWEs new ace is really good in the ring but struggles to connect on the mic
He's mediocre in the ring at best.
>The divas match was the best match on the card
In terms of drama and story, sure, but actual action? No. It was just okay.
>tfw sting said it was an honor to fight against Seth
>Tfw both of them are kill
You mean Roman.
They are going to continue this paradoxical booking 'make Roman strong, but he has to lose the belt to then get it back so he can look strong.'
Let's say for the sake of argument Roman IS as good as WWE wants us to think he is. He can juggle Mark Henry, Braun Strowman, Big Show and Kane while playing Beethoven's 9th Symphony with his feet and get a world record speedrun of Mario 64 with his tongue.
Booking it that he loses just to win the title back to pad out his stats is retarded. Just book him normally, don't build him up, then have him win, just to lose so he can then win again.
>League of Nations (4 people)
How is this fucking supposed to work? What does Brock Lesnar count as?
>the guy with the most heel heat is a face
>CAN IT BE?
>THE PHENOMENAL ONE IS HERE!
>OH MY GOD!
>IT HAS BEEN RUMOURED FOR WEEKS THAT THE HOTTEST FREE AGENT IN SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT WAS HEADING TO WWE!
>STYLES IS HERE!
>He thinks a fatal 4 way is a good idea for a mania main event
>Not just a fatal 4 way but one consisting of mid carders and a guy that just debuted
>Calls others retards
Take your dirtsheet comment section tier opinions elsewhere faggot
Wwehwc mainia will be tripple threat hhh v roman v seamus
Is he? What has he done that was heel-ish lately? Honestly Roman has come off as more of a heel in this feud.
>Spears A HHH after winning the title for no reason
>Attack HHH with steel chair for no reason
>insults Steph when she threatened him for attacking her husband
>threatened to put 70 year old grandfather in the hospital
>throws 70 year old into daughter causing her to take a nasty spill into the ring
Roman has done nothing very face like in this feud. He comes off as a douche bag, who whines because people are holding him down. Even though the Authority wasn't holding him down until he attacked HHH
Maybe not a four way but take any two from that four and you'll have a better main event than Roman vs Triple H.
AJ just debuted and he's already white hot. Sticking him in the midcard is retarded. Ambrose is more over than Roman. Fucking Daniel Bryan is the top face of the company. Owens is fat but whatever, he'd still put on a more entertaining match than Roman.
Meanwhile in a universe where Booking is fair and balanced, Roman would have a total of 5-7 WHCs in his entire career, Cena would be 9-10 and at least 5 other guys currently one the roster would have held it at least once.
Which is why I wanted Ambrose to win, because that way we get the possibility of the Roman heel turn.
We already know he's insane from the Loony Roman stuff. Just say he snapped and feels betrayed.
>But the IC Title
Have Dean defend at the start of the Rumble and then the WHC at the end. There.
Let's have the obvious booking.
HHH v Brock v Reigns
Wyatt Senpai v Bullet Club
Sasha v Bex v Charlotte - ladder match
Ambrose v Jericho
Owens v Zayn
Kalisto v Rusev
New Day v Kiddsaro
Taker v The Rock
Andre the Giant match - Heath Slater wins
Sheamus v Ryback
Ziggler v ADR
>Dudleyz build up tag division
>Ascension are power-house characters
>Gallows and Anderson at the big-man team
>Usos are high-fliers
>American Alphas (Gable&Jordan) are the technical superiors
>New Day are the combination wrestlers
Its just Vince doesn't give a shit about tag teams
>tag titles looks like squashed pennies
Cena is back in a few months.
Just have him go 'You lost your Loyalty and your Respect, you never had hustle.' or some other long speech about doing good and yadda yadda.
There, there is you face vs heel. Best part is, there will be an audience divide because some people want Cena to lose and some people want Roman to lose.
>So he did a good job?
Very good. It was one of the more entertaining battle royale style matches in long while. Didn't have to rely on surprise/gimmick/joke entrants. Kofi's little piggyback trick would have been the highlight of some past rumbles.
That divide won't really be an issue because the people that want Cena to lose are the same people that want Roman to lose. You'll just get a Royal Rumble situation where everyone will cheer for the person beating on Roman.
Patience young padawan.
AJ literally just debuted. Very few people, even company guys get pushed that quickly. He's the new guy as well as a famous indie wrestler, so that's double the amount of "dues" that he has to pay. Not to mention they're wrist deep in ROMAN LOOK STRONG at the moment.
But that being said, his shirt sold out almost instantly when pre-order hit the shop. That's cold hard cash, a voice that Vince actually listens to. He's not dumb, he knows AJ is a hot commodity, and if he makes him that kind of money, his push will come. Just not right now.
Guys what the fuck is WWE's problem with letting Dean do moves?
LMS matches are spotfests and he didn't really do any moves whatsoever. He did his shit clothesline and hit Dirty Deeds twice and I literally can't remember any other moves.
Also holy fuck Sasha Banks looked ugly.
>OH MY GOD THAT...!
>THAT'S PAUL WIGHT!
>PAUL WIGHT WAS BENEATH THE RING!
>Wwehwc mainia will be tripple threat hhh v roman v seamus
>[THE CURRENT YEAR] of 2016
>the main event of Wrestlemania
>27-time WHC HHH vs 2-time former WHC Road Man Rains
>mfw he kept performing a different suplex every time during that fatal four tag match
>gets down to 28 last night
>figure Sheamus and Haitch are left so we might get a return or debut in one of the slots
>Dolph comes out
Literally forgot this loser existed, he needs to fuck off to TNA
>Never ending boos for everything Roman does
There comes a point surely where you just have to accept he's shit and no one likes him.
Tyson O' fucking Neil of all fucking people was more exciting to watch in the rumble than Roman.
>Let's 'hypothetically' say, he wins against bork CLEAN.
Who says he has to win clean?
There are lots of ways they could play out the Brock vs Wyatt -match into a kind of "everyone wins" -scenario... for example, maybe it's BROCK who doesn't win clean? After all, it's not going to be a title match anyway.
...and who says HE has to win?
I've said it before:
Strowman and Lesnar in the ring, Bray and Heyman at ringside in a Belly vs. Belly shouting match.
>Jericho telling him to Knees included
Based Y2J was Rumble MVP.
theyve never pushed him as anything more than a lower-midcarder though
hes basically harmless and from all the stuff he does outside the ring he seems like a really nice/good guy. he didnt deserve to get booed out of the place
What if this was all Vince's idea and HHH is just waiting for Vince to croak so he can make WWE more like NXT?
