Also there are two thieves standing off behind a tree near the Inn that you can listen in on their convo, that'll raise your intrigue. The reason your render software was in Japanese was because it's Unicode and was installed while Japanese locale was enabled (you may notice the locale screen specifically mentions unicode programs). That is the locale at work as intended. It is not a problem, or even a symptom of a problem.

If you uninstalled them, set your locale back to english, then re-installed, you'd see they were back to english again and you'd STILL be getting software errors out the ass because it's not a Windows 10 locale issue.

Memory write errors are generally hardware faults, but due the timing, it probably means that 1 program was trying to address another program that was closed prematurely so it couldn't be located and modified in the memory. Again, not Windows.

That specific game relies a lot on UI but sure, you could use VNR to read the dialogues. Even in other RPGM games. The only ones that I found translators having difficulty when hooking the text are those made in the Wolf engine.

I'm just mad because the updates come out at snails pace. Also he did mumble few months ago something about hiring a coder but nothing came out of it, and that makes me even more sad.

Windows really started to get its shit together in the last 10 years as far as stability goes.

I average about 1 full-blown crash (as in, have to force a hard reboot) every 6 months on Windows 10 and 14+ hours a day of use. But I'm also savvy enough to maintain a healthy PC and circumvent what most people would consider crashes (like program freezes and junk).

If stupid people crash/freeze/lag their computers 3 times a day, it is very likely their own fault.
