How do you feel about the newest Saber clone?
It's from Lord El-Melloi II Case Files
No, it's from El-Melloi Case Files. She is
a descendant of Arturia and her family have been the gravekeeper at Glastonbury. She is the narrator of the novel and Waver tells her to cover her face because he hates it
Her weapon is actually the spear that killed Mordred. Can't remember all from yesterdays Luvia thread, but some stuff of from the novel was posted there.
Another clone that needs to be killed by Heroine X
Wasn't the point of Arthur and Mordred killing each other that the line ended with them?
She can't be related to Kay since he and Arthur weren't actually related. So....Morgan? It's the only one left I could possibly think of but most likely the author didn't care about that.....
In the end of the novel
Waver says after he finishes the contract with El-Melloi family he wants to be a single magus, participate in the 5th GW and meet Iskandar again. Gray asks him to take her with him.
Depends on how distant relative we are talking about.
Or if Venus genes comes from Uther Pendragon, or the chick he banged.
Remember: King Arthur has relatives in matter of Britain.
If it was, she would leave it at home.
You don't want a weapon that NEEDS to sheed a lot of blood, whenever its drawn.
>She'll probably get way more statues than your T-M waifu just for being a slightly different take on Saber
>We will never see Rin and Shirou's adventures in England
You know, I've been reading about other fancy shit Arthur was supposed to have and...
Yeah, no, fuck you. I'm convinced the Welsh language is just a centuries-long joke played on the rest of the world. Look at that fucking name, what the fuck is that?
Said to have pierced 7 men on causal attacks.
Whenever its worn, it will fuck up the user completely if blood is not drawn, properly. So you can't put it down or leave it until you have had a few bloody duels.
It seeps bloodlust.
If anything its a devil katana in spear form.
They just really like their g's w's and y's
>Arthur speaks to Culhwch.
>"You shall have the request that head and tounge name, as far as the wind dries, as far as the rain wets, as far as the sun rises, as far as the sea stretches, as far as the earth extends, excepting only my ship, my mantle, my sword Caledvwlch (Excalibur), my spear Rhongomynyad (cutting-spear), my shield Wynebgwrthucher (face of evening), my knife Carnwennan and my wife Gwenhwyvar (white shadow?)."
I'm pretty sure that Nasu nor the others who write this stuff have no fucking idea where they are going with "canon" or pretty much anything anymore.
I just googled Arthur's family and got this, so I'm sure they can find a way for them to be related to him.
Nasuverse is going the old Star Wars EU way.
Where every good book/game made there is 10 shitty ones that fuck over the canon and old characters.
Narita writes F/SF LN, this here is the El-Melloi stuff.
Based on her similarities of Sir Bedivere, the grey hair, the strength, and wielding a spear, she's probably one of his decedents. There are some interpretations of the Arthurian myth that suggest he was secretly related to one of the other knights of the round tables. It's not a big leap in Nasuverse logic to make Bedivere related to Arthur. Another thing that adds to this is that when Bedivere became a hermit he remained near by Arthur and Guinevere's graves. Maybe in the Nasuverse, Bedivere ended up finding a wife and having a family, but never moved on from his watch over Arturia and as a result his family line dedicated themselves to keeping watch over the tomb.
>Bedivere became a hermit he remained near by Arthur and Guinevere's graves
I am actualy pretty sure that was Lancelot
And why would a descendant of Bedivere get Arthur's spear and not Bedivere's`?
Old and busted. Gray is the new "hotness" now.
shes apparently a descendent from arthurs family, some cousin or some shit, and her family have essntially ben protecting Arthurs grave
she wields the spear that killed mordred, and shes the narrator of the novel
>shes apparently a descendent from arthurs family, some cousin or some shit, and her family have essntially ben protecting Arthurs grave
Oh. This is exactly who I thought Saber originally was when I first read F/SN before I learned of the genderbent thing. Amusing.
>I am actualy pretty sure that was Lancelot
Both of them do have watched over the tomb in various interpretations and retellings of the story. Some have interpretations have Lancelot going off to a monastery and being a monk.
>And why would a descendant of Bedivere get Arthur's spear and not Bedivere's`?
No idea, maybe it isn't really Rhongomynyad or maybe Bedivere kept it since it was supposedly given to Arthur by God.
Shitty crop but here's the novel's summary from one of yesterday's threads.
Thanks. Better than actually copying all those posts here.
Magic does weird stuff to your biology.
Kirei grew a few more inches despite being a fully grown adult, Shirou grew a goddamn foot despite being near the end of puberty (also became tan and white haired due to corruption).
If she was summoned in the Saber class still, the only additional equipment she'd really receive is Avalon, and possibly her shield Prydwen.
Maybe also the ability to call one of her warhorses (Hengroen or Llamrei), as she'd retain her Riding skill.
Perhaps she would receive her dagger Carnwennan if summoned in Britain or by an amazing master, but that's probably not a huge gain. Also Caliburn, but Excalibur is still better.
It would open up options for Lancer Artoria (Rhongomynaid) and Rider Artoria (two warhorses and a boat), however.
They're going for a fifth war? So I need to know does that mean that we might actually get a follow up on what happened in Fuyuki? Even if it might not be any of the timelines from SN.
I just want Fate/Apocrypha anime. I'm confused enough with Fateverse canon already.
How would 100% heroic spirit compare to the still alive version?
Yes, because the Servant is a copy of the original that's recorded according to her legend. Arturia isn't a real Heroic Spirit, but a soul who is traveling in time.
She'll probably be male though.
I bet she will get at least 5 decent ones, which puts her ahead of most of the Fate and Tsuki heroines, let alone supporting girls. Such is the fate of Sabers. If you like any other girl too fucking bad, get this keychain or shitty poster and be pleased.
Still weaker because class containers can't hold all their power. It's a restriction based on magecraft simply not being good enough to summon full-power heroes. Also, it'd get exponentially more difficult to control some of them, cause you can bet your ass just one command seal at a time ain't gonna cut it.
There was a point where this shit needed to stop and we have clearly passed it.
>a character looks like the flagship character of the series
>IT'S KILLING MY LOVE FOR THE FRANCHISE
yes i'm sure it's nasu, type-moons or any of their faults that something so minor makes or breaks the entire thing for you.
I just want to put Saber and her clones in the same room and then see what happens. I might hire in a a few academicians to explain just how implausible it is for all these women from across time and space to look the exact same.
That's new Arc boys. And Arihiko now a black person.
Fitting name for a new Fate doujin.
>tfw you realize Hollow Ataraxia is an allegory for ending your worthless and repetitive NEET lifestyle and getting a job
Just like Heaven's feel is talking about how to get rid of your stupid chunni ideals to save your loved one, right? UBW seems to embrace the chunni and even see it as a positive. Ugh, I feel sick
Does this Lancer have stats or just the spear itself?
FOR FUCKS' SAKE TYPE-MOON
THERE HAS TO BE ONE FUCKING FOREIGNER YOU CAN JUST KIDNAP OFF THE STREET TO PROOFREAD THIS SHIT
GIVE ME A CALL, YOU FAGGOTS, I'LL DO IT
YOU EVEN WROTE IT CORRECTLY UP THERE!
Maybe it's their pronunciation or something like that.
>Thinking a fake can ever be as good as the original
I'm sorry, if you meant Perseus
A = Bellerophon
B = Harpe
C = Kibisis (Bounded Field/RM breaker)
D = Mirror Shield (Deflects NPs and magic)
E = Flying sneakers (boosts AGI)
It's ABCDE because his master is a potato powered by drugs, its supposed to be stronger than that or so he claims.
>Including mascots, there are enough clones for a Holy Grail War comprised entirely of Sabers
The NP stat has never made sense.
It's some sort of approximation based on the ranks of your NPs but not equivalent to them. There are people who have an NP rank higher and lower than the rank of their noble phantasms.
So why does Perseus have five ranks for one score? Why the fuck does it matter, that score is bonkers.
That's not even supposed to be another Fate\HGW. Be very afraid. They can turn any character into a saberclone.
Probably Grand Order. It seems like Nasu has slowly been adding minor references of future works into others. Koha-Ace mentioned the spear a while ago, it was mentioned by name in Apocrypha, and now this. Including it in Grand Order seems like a no-brainer, especially with different-classed Servants.
>Implying ANY stat besides Noble Phantasm is worth a shit
Never once has any servant, regardless of class, died from a conventional attack.
>supposedly from Ancient Greece
>has maroon hair and lime green eyes
How? Wouldn't it make more sense that he resembled Herakles, considering that the two of them are half-brothers?
>Nigger steals your sword and your Avalon
>You go into your tool shed, pick up a shitty clone of Lughs firesmeared bloodlust hound pike
>Rally your army
>Ride to the battlefield
>Go Berserk and get peppered by arrows
>Already be halfway dead, and impaled by several great NPs by the time you reclaim Avalon
>Realize this happened because you where in the end, a very shitty king
>And that if you keep on doing, it will happen again
>BTW, you already killed your bro(Lancelot)
>And several other knights
>You already fucked up once, very badly, when you meet Lancelot
>Oh, and Mordred impale you, for shits and giggles
Caster did in Heaven's Feel.
Assassin did in Unlimited Blade Works.
Archer did in Fate.
The only reason Saber didn't in Fate is because Illya decided to spare her.
And the first few opponents did in Extra before your servant allowed themselves to go all out.
Do we really count Kuzuki as "conventional"? His snake is practically a noble phantasm if you consider his role with Caster to be reversed (with him the servant and she the master).
What are you talking about? Isemi kid was a living prana battery because of that chimerisation stuff. Hell, he lived for 8 years because of that.
and he died, turned Rider into a real being while leaving him scrawny and underpowered as fuck.
It doesn't matter if Isemi is a prana battery when Perseus still needed to suck dicks and souls to survive.
>So his hubris isn't really a delusion
Laughing "Epic of Gilgamesh".jpg
Probably not. Only that one weird guy doing partial translations and summaries. Even if he did, I either think he doesn't have that great a of a grasp of English, or he's just bad at translating. His stuff his very awkward to read. The guy who did strange fake's translation also mentioned her writing style sucks or something.
Bullshit. That's like calling Crane Wing or Nine Lives Blade Works Noble Phantasms. Fuck, Tsubame-Gaeshi doesn't count as a Noble Phantasm even though it's one of the most broken things in the VN.
Well guess how Archer got his prana fix at the end of UBW
Yeah, and can you even count something like Berserker of Black using her kamikaze NP on Saber when Saber had already basically killed her without using her NP anyway?
All the climactic battles are settled by NP, but not necessarily the less important ones
>Luvia is worse than Rin
Everything is right with the world.
It's pre F/SN so it will probably end with both equal for the Clocktower sequel never
>Laser beam scythe/spear
I am angry and disapointed.
BEAMS A SHIT
While Nero's tits are nice in size she isn't really in cowtit country compared to other TM's.
>It's pre F/SN so it will probably end with both equal for the Clocktower sequel never
This made me mad
>No qt3.14 Caster to teach you the hard way.
This, she sounds like an actual modern tsundere/Bitchdere, is like the writer is one of the guest writers in HA who doesn't understand Rin's tsundere and he failed to copy it on her clone Luvia.
The original version of Fate/Stay Night (now Fate/Prototype) was japanese Twilight with legendary bishounen heroes. Ayaka was attractive to them because Nasu did not yet know how to actually write at the time.
Shirou never actually did the high jump.
He tried but failed continuously.
It was a symbol of "tenacity in the face of impossible odds" which apparently japanese girls get wet for.
Literally everyone loves high jumps.
>awesome at cookery
>does whatever you tell him to
>scores some PTSD points
He's pretty much a perfect catch for someone out for a trophy husband. Or a manservant.
Shirou would be a great catch for anyone.
>earns a fair amount of money but spends frugally
>owns a spacious mansion complex in japan with magical defense alarm
>obsessed with making you happy because it's the way he experiences joy
It is too late.
It was always too late.
>yfw Archer only survived to the last day in UBW because he was whoring himself out to the denizens of Fuyuki for prana during the day
It all makes sense now!
>tfw Ayaka will never appear outside the shitfest that is Prototype
I just want her to replace Shirou in the Fifth Grail War, and for Arthur to be replaced with literally any other character.
I hope someone will scan the full manga soon.
This isn't even an Alternate time-line type story
This is a side story about something that happened regardless of the world-line, similar to Fate/Strange. Neither of those stories involve any of the previous cast or create any inconsistencies where it would need to be an alt-line.
Fanon tier in a way, "She should have Avalon, Excalibur, her scythe spear, Caliburn, and have a reality marble that summons all of her knights, because that's how servants work".
I'm saying that people always bullshit "Heroic Spirit Arthur". Saying "If she would be summoned normally she'd have so much more stuff, all of her stuff". Yeah that's never been how it's worked, especially for Saber or Lancer class servants. You're lucky if you get more than one NP in that class. Even Prototype shows that Arthur is basically balanced with a proper summoning of herself even with her current gear. Heroic Spirit King Arthur isn't some mystical thing along with Serious Gilgamesh where she's untouchable because she has all of her stuff. It's just an idea people have because they want her to have Avalon naturally, when even that's doubtful.
That's what all of Fate is about. Extra is pretty anti-Otaku in a lot of ways, all of the main servants have had bedroom experience before, but that's not supposed to be a dealbreaker as they make you like them anyway rather than "B-but she has to be pure".
Wouldn't HS Arturia have Excalibur and Avalon if she was placed in the Saber class, only her spear if placed in the lancer class etc? I think Avalon is a must, since it is the sheath of Excalibur and Arthur and Excalibur are inseparable.
>all of the main servants have had bedroom experience before
I never understood why that was a bad thing. Sex with virgins tends to suck.
I was a normalfag once, but I have seen the light.
She lost Avalon in life, and it's still floating around out there as a living NP.
As Saber class she'd definitely have Excalibur and Invisible Air as her two NPs. If she was allowed three NP's it would depend on the third one she got, but she'd probably need to be summoned in Britain to get more than two normally.
You saying this ho-bag don't hasn't been deflowered?
Why don't you two masterbate already.
Really? Name one character with 2 or more eroscenes where the first one is generally considered to be the best.
Shirou wasn't exactly helping though
No, it really isn't. There is nothing in the lore about "living NPs still out there" or "ascending". Noble Phantasms are the crystallization of legend, they're bonded to the legendary spirit the minute the legend is created.
I remember you, stop spreading lies.
Arturia is not in the Throne, so she only gets the Noble Phantasms that were on her person when she was summoned, namely Excalibur and Invisible Air. Karna gets all his Phantasms because he died and his soul went to the Throne.
She would get Avalon for sure. Anything else is doubtful ans subjective to classes and container restrictions.
But Excalibur and Avalon are essentially the same Noble Phantasm to begin with. It's Excalibur's sheath for crying out loud. They are incomplete without one another.
The equivalent would be Rider being summoned with his chariot yet with no bulls.
For completion sake, here is the original since shiki is the one to wear glasses
Nobody in the story ever falls for him at first sight. There's long periods of acclimatization and getting to know him.
Heck, I'm re-reading Fate right now, and it's fun seeing the slow change between them, especially as they start switching places in repeated arguments like "You're wounded, can't fight yet."
Proto Gil apparently saw Ayaka once and went HOLY SHIT, YOU ARE SINGULARLY SPECIAL AND TOTALLY UNLIKE ANY OTHER WOMEN I'VE EVER SEEN LET ME PUT MY PENIS IN YOU.
>Proto Gil apparently saw Ayaka once and went HOLY SHIT, YOU ARE SINGULARLY SPECIAL AND TOTALLY UNLIKE ANY OTHER WOMEN I'VE EVER SEEN LET ME PUT MY PENIS IN YOU.
He gave the antidote that would save her life to Saber before trying to kill him with his NP because it would mean Arthur would die in the most despair.
He never gave a shit about her. He just wanted to beat Saber in everything.
>Don't you need to die to go there ?
No, the way to the fairyland is something magic across the sea. It's not the land of the dead, which you get into by going under the barrows.
>I thought the last scene was showing her death.
It's a metaphorical "death of King Arthur" rather than a literal cessation of Artoria's life.
You guys are completely retarded. You're arguing that something has no relevance because it's too loosely connected and therefore doesn't apply but she would "definitely have Avalon" because you feel like it.
It's literally based on nothing. Nowhere in anything is it ever said she would get Avalon as a summoned Heroic Spirit. Where's all of Cuchullains shit? Where's Deermud's swords?
Nothing has any relevance to whether her as a Heroic Spirit because it's impossible. She either gets her wish and erases her legend, or gets over her issues and goes to Avalon instead.
There is no such thing as Heroic Spirit Arturia. It's impossible.
>Where's all of Cuchullains shit?
In ireland or under a powerful master, by Nasu's description.
>Where's Deermud's swords?
In the Saber class. Nasu said that's what Kayneth was going for, too.
If she gets her wish and erases her legend, she still exists as a counter guardian.
>You guys are completely retarded. You're arguing that something has no relevance because it's too loosely connected and therefore doesn't apply but she would "definitely have Avalon" because you feel like it.
No, you shithead, we're saying it bears no relevance because you're comparing two entirely different characters with entirely different weapons. Both have "Excalibur", yet they're completely different weapons. There are not two Excaliburs in the universe, they are different because one story has absolutely no bearing on the other. They are not "loosely" connected; they are not connected, period.
Saying that Arturia wouldn't have Avalon because a character in a story that isn't even compatible with her universe doesn't have it is idiotic.
Yeah, summoning her without being a top tier ubermagus means you probably won't get Carnwennan or Prydwen and you'd probably have to be pretty up there in quality to let her materialize Avalon properly.
She'd be a hero with a lot of gated content available for better magi.
Because the Japanese think Saber is English.
Cu gets his Chariot and a castle NP as well, if he's summoned in ireland.
Presumably he gets the chariot anyway if summoned as rider, and id imagine that the castle ties into his caster class somehow.
Mordred stole it, but she didn't have it explicitly on her person during the battle of Camlann.
Even if she did, you have to be in a magical contract with her to have the near-full effect (only she gets the full effect). Just being in proximity means you recover quickly, but being run through by a legendary spear is a tad more deadly than that. There's nothing indicating Artoria lingered around Mordred's corpse long enough to repair enough damage that she wouldn't succumb, assuming Mordred was carrying Avalon at all.
>You will never buy groceries with Ilya
>Saber route #34285713489258237
>Still no Taiga Route
>And that is the most retarded thing the Nasuverse ever produced
This would make it the THIRD legendary item thats survived to present age covered by the story... actually, fourth, counting Longinus.
You have no clue what you're yapping about and have no point.
Every otome protagonist has large breasts.
Protoype was essentially an otome game.
Shut your face you dumb cuck.
Same reason all eroge MCs are ripped even if it makes no damn sense in the context of the story.
Self-insert wish fulfillment.
Eh, at least she doesn't really seem to steal the spotlight from Waver-sensei being mostly just letting Waver doing his cool sherlock thing and brandishing her edgy scyther/spear once in a while
>Kotomine as Sensei route
>Class lectures in dat deep manly voice
Holy shit yes. It's perfect, how did I miss this?
From the dude who made the summary
"Saber version of Eeyore with a mix of Soujuurou.
Saber connection was unnecessary, but I didn't mind her that much. Maybe because she was more of an observer than anything else so we could see how Waver has changed."
It's more like ancient religion. Drawing magic circles and sacrificing animals in them for power.
It sucks apparently because it's relying on external power instead of your own.
>What is formalcraft by the way?
ARISE, CHICKEN, ARISE
Rin describes it as getting energy to produce magic from somewhere else rather than using your own magical energy. Employing sacrifices to power a spell and such. It's a method used to cast magic even if you don't have circuits and can't manipulate magical energy.
As Shirou puts it, it's stuff like sacrificing chickens or sitting in a magic circle all day praying to some power or other in order to make magic happen.
Shirou's build made perfect sense at least, as does Soujuurou's.
Shiki's was just bullshit though. Fuck your childhood training, you spent ten years incapable of even doing fucking school P.E.
The HNNNNG one is fucking the rapey one.
Lets be honest here.
I bet most authors fucking love the idea of having a Saber Clone to call their own.
Odds are when Takeuchi went to him and said "so hey, how about a Saber clone?" the author just jumped at that chance
There must always be a Saber. Always. ALL THE TIME.
See... I have this theory that in the Nasuverse meta, "Saber" is actually an extradimensional entity that is slowly overwriting the human race. Heros are easy to start with as they are vague figures of the past. But slowly, ever so slowly, the characters of Fate, Tsukihime, KnK, Notes, Canaan, etc, etc will become more and more saturated with saber clones.
The final installment of the Nasuverse will be the story of the last human in a world of billions of Sabers.
