was Shinji Hashimoto who did key animation for Ogi-Nishikubo. Shinya Ohira and Masashi Ando also did key animation on both shorts. So, there's a connection there, but it's not entirely accurate to say it's the same motherfuckers.

Spiders are easy enough unless they're ground spiders and they see you coming. They like to beeline for cracks in the moulding and I can't do shit there. Flying insects are harder cuz, well, they can fly, but they'll land eventually. Although I guess I've never had to deal with roaches specifically.
