>Ichiruki confirmed in the epilogue of Bleach
>A hundred landwhales cried out in anguish and were suddenly silenced
>Suicide was the only option
>Kubo is arrested for manslaughter charges of over 120 middle aged 300 pound ham beasts
It's going to happen
Who gives a fuck?
I mean honestly? This isn't a romance manga and Kubo can't write compelling character drama for shit.
Rukia is the best girl and that has nothing to do with lame romance subplots and everything to do with her being perfect in every possible way.
If you only care about Rukia because she's a front runner in your gay shipping bullshit then you can fuck off.
It's pretty common in Japan for fujoshi to use such portmanteaus when talking about their pairings. Says a lot that the same exact thing is done by a lot of shounenbabbies over here.
He can write pretty entertaining stuff, but I'm not entirely sure it's on purpose considering how rarely it happens.
At the end, it turns out that not only is Ichigo everything under the sun, but he's also a girl, so he gets shipped with his girlself. Therfore, the only possibility is Ichichi.
I feel like the outrage won't be as big
I've never felt like the shipping scene was as big with Bleach as it was Naruto
all the best couples were already couples in the manga
or at least hinted to be
Yes there is. I love Rukia for being Rukia, not because of stupid shipper bullshit. I don't care who ends up with who because this is a battle shounen manga. The romance is tacked on and only exists to remind the audience that Ichigo is straight despite the majority of his relationships being overwhelmingly homoerotic, just like every other battle shounen MC.
>I've never felt the shipping scene wasn't as big with Bleach as it was with Naruto
Shipping is the only reason why it exists in Japan still.
Ichiruki > every pairing that ever was besides maybe LASfags
Okay, so if Rukia wins the berry that would be two best girls winning in for the big three.
So then we would have
and then Luffy... Err who's the best girl for One Piece? They all seem pretty okay.
>Orikasa, on Morita: "We were together for so long during afureko sessions, and I couldn't help teasing him. I'm usually not that kind of person (laughs). I guess that's similar to Ichigo and Rukia's relationship. And deep down, I find him very reliable."
>On Itou: "Whenever I'm teasing Morita-kun, I have him watch - and it's like, "What d'you think?" And he always gives a great reaction (laughs). That's how it is between Rukia and Renji too, I think."
Would he? Urahara's training turned his human soul into a shinigami soul, so wouldn't he permanently die if he gets killed? Then again this is Bleach where people don't die even if they're killed.
>implying they aren't soulmates
>implying they aren't perfect together
>implying their interactions aren't the best in the series
He's been dead since Urahara cut his soul chain and dumped him in that pit. The implication that he'd have to leave the human world behind is because by the end of the manga he'll be exhibiting his initial unchecked power leakage issues a million times worse and would be best kept in the spiritual realm.
>When the two that share
>destiny part and reunite,
>beyond the frame of time,
>the ceased clock will awake
>and start to tick once again.
Ichigo or Rukia is dying at the end. Is not even a question at this point.
Kubo should do a comedy spinoff. I want to see more of his fun characters doing silly things.
And her older, more well endowed clone.
>yfw you realize Ichigo was dead since the very beginning
>To complete Uraharas training in Shattered Shaft, and not become a hollow, he broke his Soul Chain to his body. He also probably even knew about Ichigos quincy heritage
>He is a soul that has taken up residence in a corpse. Without Kon to inhabit his body, it would just decompose
Now for some 5th level reading
Aizen taught us that Uraharas gigai for Rukia was designed to seal her powers and render her human to hide the wishing rock. Since when were you under the impression he couldnt do the reverse and turn Ichigos real body into a spirit body? Urahara had plans to make Ichigo more spiritual and eventually send him to the Kings Realm as a quincy!
You guys that checked Uraharas darkness vibes are probably on the right track. Im sure Kyoraku Ukitake and Urahara want to bring a new regime to Soul Society
If anything at all, I'd like to see Ichiruki, just to see Rukia in love.
For the most part, I don't care, I just love Rukia.
Well he wrote Rukia, so he's got talent somewhere.
>Pairing candidates for Inoue: Ichigo, Ishida, The Mexican Option
>Pairing candidates for Rukia: Ichigo, My Big Brother Can't Possibly be this Tsundere, Renji
Ishida is going for the closeted home ending (assuming he survives) and Rukia won't obviously go down the incest route, so those two are out.
Pairing Ichigo with Inoue and Rukia with Renji will probably cause the least amount of buttdevastation among bleachtards.
Pairing Ichigo with Rukia and Inoue with The Mexican Option would probably be the most interesting route.
>pairing Ichigo with Inoue
I think you've made a mistake, ichiruki is massive compared to every other pairing, they may as well not even exist in comparison
The Mexican Option only knows one love, that of the Ground.
Only with the Ground in which his blood seeped, to the deepest crevices, can the Mexican option be realised
Does not appear to exist according to a cursory search, alas
Well being small comes with such problems, yes. More accurately, finding non kiddie clothes.
Fortunately, Ichigo has Ishida and he lives on the first floor.
Face it, anon. Never ever.
>Rukia, not a Tsundere who petered out in the Tsun department in, like, 20 chapters.
It's always Ichiruki or Ichihime or Ichitatsuki or Ichiriruka or some other Ichipairing. What about the other males in the series? Are they doomed to be forever alone because Ichigo is THAT hot?
Everyone wants a piece of that. Everyone.
Closest I know about, a drawfag could perhaps edit it.
>Implying anybody will end up with anyone.
Kubo's already said in an interview that romance is not and never will be the focus of Bleach. If there is an epilogue for Bleach, it's guaranteed be nothing like Kubo's shipfest.
Also there's no way Ichigo is getting out of this without becoming the next Soul King.
I'm not talking about ships. I'm talking about how so many Bleach girls want Ichigo's dick. They won't even look at other dudes. How many girls want Ichigo? Let's see:
Then there's the filler girls like Nozomi, Rurichiyo, Senna...
This dude makes me so jelly.
Kubo's thrown out a fair bit of Ishida/Orihime hints, although she still has a huge as fuck crush on Ichigo, so no idea how Kubo would reverse course into it.
Also Mizuiro is confirmed to have an offscreen harem of older women roughly the size of the entire Bleach cast.
>that royal guard guy said that that the soul king had fallen for ichigo
>soul king wants ichigo for his daugther
>top genes for ruling the world
>every wymen will try to win him over
>royal realm fight arc begins
I wonder how Ichigo would feel about Chad plowing Karin. You all know it's going to happen.
>Including Yuzu, but not Karin.
She arguably wants his dick more.
nozomi was into his body, but liked kon as a personality
tatsuki seems to have some sexual tension with him, but would never act on it because childhood trauma and orihime
yuzu is his sister, that's not going anywhere
Senna was weirdly kind of mutual, but she doesn't exist anymore
Closest I have is Rukia wearing a shirt that appears to be Ichigo's. I like your train of thought, though.
Wait, what? When did Karin even interact with Hitsugaya? Am I forgetting some scene from when all the shinigami were hanging around at Ichigo's house early in the Arrancar arc?
Kubo could draw a color page of Rukia wearing a shirt that Ichigo was wearing on a previous color page.
Yeah, everyone wants a piece of him
Not so sure
Keigo's smoking hot sister gives no fucks about Ichigo. She just wants to fuck Ikkaku.
>Filler episode that ships Karin with Ice Shota.
I wonder who she would like more. Ikkaku or creepy fat monk? Since they're both bald.
Oh man now I want that big fat fucker to just completely smother her with his body and use her as a cumsleeve.
I'm still so salty over this. She became super interesting and was killed right after just to powerup Kenpachi. What a fucking waste, Kenpachi didn't need any more bullshit to already be overpowered and cool.
Also her true face was pretty sexy.
It's weird how much non-canon shipper shit Perriot throws in. There's their landslide of IchiRuki shit, and they also added in the Ichigo & Orihime holding hands scene that rustled Kubo something fierce.
It's like even the animators are trying to tell Kubo to just have somebody fuck already.
>Best girl now goes to the lemon
Better start packing on those pounds.
>Isshin remains a human, marries Unagi
>Unagi's little boy tries to win Yuzu's heart
>Uryu is trapped in a harem hell as he goes off to college, caught between Orihime, Nemu,
>Chad is proud of his skin
>Ichigo looking over Karakura, Rukia at his side drawing shitty drawings
>And no romance whatsoever
Oh hey look, it's my favorite episode.
The animation and Rukia serivce was fucking fantastic.
The scene where Rukia was telling Ichigo that she had his back and everything was fucking beautiful.
>It's like even the animators are trying to tell Kubo to just have somebody fuck already.
Well, I agree with them here. But seeing as things are going right now at the war, I think Ichigo may not even get a chance.
It's a top tier episode. They gave it movie quality animation, and it's full of great moments and the good old slice of life comedy with Ichigo & his game we missed so much.
342? God dammit anon. You're making me want to continue reading past the soul society arc to get to that scene. I stopped reading after Ichigo saved Rukia but you're making me want to pick it up again.
I'm still convinced it has a solid chance of an IchiRuki end. I'm normally not much for the whole "read between the lines and their feelings are obvious!" shit, but damn are the parallels between Masaki/Isshin and Ichigo/Rukia a little hard to ignore.
>Chad moves to Mootxico and lives with Halibel and her squad in beachside bungalows
>after dark they get together and have band practice
He knows exactly what he's fucking doing, he did this for a reason
I wish Kubo draws more silly faces.
It really was amazing, I'm sad that most people missed it due to filler, I skipped it initially, passing it off as the finale of the Reigai filler arc.
At some point I re-watched everything fillers included and I came across this gem.
Come to think of it, most of the Reigai arc was really well animated in itself.
Thats a long way to go, and the Huceo Mundo arc is a hell.
Even so, 90% of this episode is filler. Great filler though.
Repeating what another anon said in a previous thread:
>Back in the SS arc after Rukia is kidnapped, Ichigo goes to see the fireworks with his friends.
>He regrets that Rukia isn't there to see them with him.
>In 342, they get the chance to see them together before Ichigo loses his powers.
You're 100% right, which is why I said I'm wary of the whole "reading between the lines = ship confirmed" bullshit. Honestly if I had to put money down, I'd bet on Ichigo not ending up with anybody, since Kubo's already said he has no interest on making romance the focus.
Here's another one of Rukia in Ichigo's shirt.
>That fucking animation on the farewell scene.
I could feel Pierrot's shipper boner through the monitor.
Found this which is better, but extracting the DVD now.
I'll have the episode up for anyone who wants it in about an hour.
>Speaking is NOT communcation
Funny, it reminds me of exactly how Ichigo and Rukia spend 90% of their time together staring into each other's eyes.
That must be true communication.
It definitely had a basis but I won't argue with you for not liking it. All I'm saying is that what seems like parallels and romantic development can always turn out to be something else in the end.
we all wanted more Tatsuki. I was getting super excited to see her become on of the main fighters when the show started. I thought man she's gonna be cool. And then she BIT a hallow and it was awesome and IM like FUCK YEAH!
and then Orihime happened.
shame. she would have made me keep watching
Reminder that Kubo hasn't forgotten about "The Talk". Kubo never forgets. EVER
>tfw your favorite girl almost never gets any screen time
Gotta really savor the moments.
maybe it's for the best. When the get screen time the go from badass fighters to dere dere "not"-lesbo jokes
I don't know about that but he put a lot of effort into pointing out how attuned she was to spirit stuff just to pull the rug out
Chad' s going to master his hollow powers then go plow the queen of Hueco Mexico.
Do not mock the dead anon, especially the cute ones.
I dunno, she's badly used for sure, but there was some potential in Mexico.
The again, I'm an UlquiorraxOrihime sort
Mexico was the perfect arc to introduce new powers, Tatsuki could have trained in the meanwhile. No worse than introduciing Rukia's Bankai later.
The biggest problem being the power creep of course. By the time she could have been relevant, Aizen was walking arouns exploding people for shits and giggles.
The other perfect point being naturally the 17 months time skip. Someone gotta keep up the work.
Also, Tatsuki and Orihime did have that hilarious routine.
Kubo's dropped some material on the subject, though. Whether it will actually lead to something or is just Ishida's unrequited feelings remains to be seen.
>implying Uryu isn't going to have an end where Mayuri moves into his nice basement and all his damaged goods daughterus relentlessly try to waifu Ishida like he's a harem MC
The again, I'm an UlquiorraxOrihime sort
Shitty pairing made up by the fact it has some great
Yeah, I am actually a fan of the fucked up interaction potential.
I mean, he is clearly abusing Orihime emotionally, its rare to see that. The fun part being that she has an impact on him too, which makes it all interesting.
The heart is actually a part of Bleach I liked, because it did show this aspect of the relationship. Still a shitty pairing 99% of the time but whatever.
The fanart is good, though.
What is terrible is the way Orihime's powers are sort of strange in the way they work and what they come from. Not to mention, Tatsuki was there when Orihime likely was exposed to the root for her powers, and they appeared to be set up as a unit.
If Bleach was more like JoJo as far as power use and workings goes, it could have been great.
Hence why the recent chapters were great.
I really hope we get to see more of Isshin before the manga wraps up. He was clearly OP, considering he was whooping Aizen with an unreleased sword for a few chapters in Deicide, and his bankai is apparently powerful enough Aizen felt the need to personally cripple him so he couldn't use it against Shiro.
>not loving ichiruki
get a load of this hothead
You think parallels are the only thing there is? OK
I actually prefer her short haired design, but fuck if the way she has her hair tucked into the scarf isn't adorable.
I love you too anon, at least you love Rukia
This still cracks me up every time. Ichigo's like 9 feet tall.
we've been over this, Rukia is fucking 4'8 and 73 pounds, not that she isn't a little too small in that panel, it's still awesome.
I know, she's a little too small in that panel, agreed.
What's shitty about it? Orihime's problem is that she's useless. By making her "too nice to fight" Kubo basically wrote her out of sharing the morals and reasoning of the people around her, so she's nothing but a fangirl who ships herself with Ichigo. Because she doesn't have an identity of her own she doesn't match with anyone good, and she doesn't match with Uryu because he's too passive -- if he tries to reach out to her he'll miss because there's no personality for him to grab onto there, and if she reaches out to him she'll miss due to his stumbling. There's no connection.
Orihime needs someone who doesn't give a damn about her "nice" because otherwise she won't develop herself. Ulquiorra could have interest just based on horniness and curiosity, and so Orihime would have to rewrite herself to connect to other interests.
Orihime needs that rewrite.
I always hate the "nice" character type. Nice is fine. I like girls but the thing is all the (hero)girls are genuinely pretty decent people so the nice girl doesn't really do anything different but be bland and oh so sweet
So what makes you think Kubo will go for Rukia and not hime? Don't tell me now that the NS ship has sunk that you delusional Harmonians are desperately clinging onto the last crack pairing you ship?
I will be there to drink your tears then too.
Which would have made a tag-team with Tatsuki interesting. The would have been someone to fight alongside her.
Especially since they did practice together. She knows how to fight but wont, when Tatsuki is a tad bloothirsty.
Would have been a nice setup to the relationship with Ulquiorra, where she would have arguments to lead him away from his condition.
Oh hey porky welcome to the thread enjoy your stay
Right here is where she was ruined. She has no intent to kill -- no intent to insert herself in events. The entire series is about events that call for action and her personality makes her avoid them. She writes herself out.
She doesn't know what the fuck she's doing
Ruki/a/ sure has been out in full force ever since naruto ended and confirmed hinata
it's like they're panicking or something
Bleach is at least 2 years away from an ending, and Kubo has given so many flags to indicate that either Ichigo's gonna get a solo end, or no romantic resolution at all
You sound exactly like Sakurafags
Oh Hinata is irrelevant she never gets screen time, she has no character development but oh wait chapter 700.
I'll just sip my coffee patiently and wait for the blindfold to be lifted from your eyes. What a delusional ship.
>Orihime is irrelevant
at least she had an impact on the plot for more than one chapter in the last 400
Seriously, other than giving Ichigo his powers back (which honestly, was clearly able to be done by anyone) she's not contributed ANYTHING outside of her own personal experiences since she kicked Ichigo's ass for being weak at the start of the arrancar arc.
Talk about irrelevant.
Rukia is much more important emotionally to Ichigo. The Arrancar arc ended with Ichigo's parting from Rukia, even though Orihime was the central heroine of it.
More significantly, Ichigo will be staying in Soul Society permanently. Orihime will go back to Karakura and live out her human life.
He doesn't really seem to harbor anything anymore. He's still embarrassed around her of course, but we haven't seen anything more than you would expect.
I highly suspect that Kubo will make Ishida have to address his feelings for Inoue, which will make her have to state her feelings about Ichigo, which will make Ichigo freak the fuck out realizing that he's been a dense motherfucker for two whole years.
>More significantly, Ichigo will be staying in Soul Society permanently. Orihime will go back to Karakura and live out her human life.
People keep saying this
while simultaneously forgetting that Shunsui basically said they were expecting Ichigo to not be able to/allowed to come back
and what that means.
If you think that Orihime, Chad, and Ishida are just gonna go back to the living realm and leave Ichigo behind, then I feel bad for you son
They will have tickets to visit him and he'll be with Rukia and his other Shinigami friends. They're not going to give up on their lives on Earth just to be with him.
Orihime's only shot of winning will be her pulling a Kagome.
Ok, episode 228 is out. Sorry for the sub quality, I don't know how to convert whatever format that is.
The end is going to be ambiguous and open. Some shounen cliche bullshit like "We are prepared for new battles!" while his friends look at the horizon and dusk ahead them .
It's not ectoplasm. Urahara's device converts the physical particles into spirit particles. If you think about it in real world physical terms we can already change one kind of particle to another. You just have to accept that in the Bleach universe spirit particles is just one more kind of particle.
What would they do in Soul Society? Ichigo would probably become a Shinigami captain or the new Soul King or something, but the others would have nothing to do.
They're staying in Karakura. One of the last scenes will be a parting between Ichigo and his human friends, mirroring his parting with Rukia earlier.
They are probably all gonna go and live in soul society by the end. From the fullbring arc we know that Ichigo gets angsty if he cannot fight and have shinigami powers. With that in mind it makes more sense for him to stay in soul society where he can actually makie a living out of being a shinigami. If he keeps that shit up in the real world he will end up a hobo.
that's a more western concept of the afterlife
in bleach, it's more like a whole separate world that exists on a different wavelength than ours.
So it basically changes it from the matter the living world interacts with to the matter the dead world interacts with
I mean, they have organs too
You know in your heart at least one person died but chances are nobody knows they died over a fictional ship though since if the only thing keeping them going was a ship, they definitely already had other reasons people would blame their death on.
Doesn't seem like they use much resources in the living world. From what we've seen they just have 1 shinigami per town and probably they are more sparse than that. The only reason why karakura had a full time shinigami stationed was because it is the only place in the world with the highest concentration of spirit energy. That was why Aizen wanted to vaporize karakura to make the king's key.
And I threw it up on Nyaa too.
Both Ichihime and Ichiruki have their own delusionals forums, I want Ichigo to end up with Tatsuki/Nel, Rukia with Renji/Niisama and Orihime with Ishida/resurrected Ulquiorra to watch them kill themselves.
>maybe in 2016 we can get some Bleach anime and hopefully by then Kubo has finished the manga.
>Thinking that Bleach will end anytime in the next year plus.
The best bet would be starting it Winter 2016, as that should be the safest bet in starting the final arc, because it should at least be in the final battle by then.
Someone else can stitch the others.
Me too. The ginger punk will win that skinny bowl.
