Preview for the soundtrack is up
Some of the track's names are censored, will you dare listen to them?
What are you guys expectations for YuYuyu tomorrow? The monsters are all done but we have 7 more episodes.
Threadly reminder that this very homosexual behavior.
>Tracks 10, 28, and 29
>Basically all the transformation themes
I am so ready for this OST to come out.
I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a break episode. Something huge just happened last episode, so this'll probably be mostly shenanigans, with a hint of something bad to come towards the end.
It's THE best this season.
Fuck me, this series is a headache. We expect something and it never comes so we gotta wait another week. Five bucks no one dies, except maybe Mimori's friends in a flashback. We're just thinking something is gonna happen because of Madoka. Most magical girl series aren't Madoka. Even when they do have death it's not a constant spiral downward
Not the Anon you're responding to, but you guys are full-on crazy. Yuyuyu is entertaining enough, but it'd have a hard time being one of the best in a season that wasn't as strong as this one, nevermind actually being in this season. Yuyuyu is gonna have to pull off some really crazy shit to get into the running for AOTS.
Oh come on, the writing is awful and the character interaction is unrealistic as fuck. The action is nice and the soundtrack is great but this is nothinfmg more than a 4 to me. There's much better this season.
You're certainly correct, this isn't madoka. The most I've ever compared them is their style for battles. The flashiness and vibrant colors.
I'm just stuck on the whole >Takahiro thing. I'm a dirty VN-casual with a low powerlevel, so my only experience with him is Akame. I was told Akame was his special deviation, but I can't help but worry.
If we're comparing seinen magical girl series Yuyuyu is Nanoha
The only thing I can think of when listening to track 29 is Yuuna's transformation sequence in episode 1. >>116843302 also gives me flashbacks of Fuu's mankai.
Goddamn, listening to this OST after the show finishes is going to be amazing.
YuYuYu isn't a mecha though.
Jokes aside though, I've learned not to compare Mahou Shoujo stuff to each other just cause it's such a broad genre. Nanoha, CCS, and Meduka are all considered MS, but are all vastly different. YYY is in the same boat. I remember early weeks when people (read: shitposters) were calling it a madoka ripoff. People are silly.
Same man, gonna be on high alert around early december waiting for that OST to come up on nyaa.
People only think it's Madoka because:
1. Middle school girls
2. Blonde senpai
3. Pink haired magical girl lead
5. Too many newbies and casuals haven't seen any MG series but Madoka, Nanoha, and maybe 10 episodes of Sailor Moon
Nevermind Yuuna is a redhead naturally and pink is EXTREMELY common for magical girls and shojo protagonists.
Pretty much. Homura could learn a thing or two from Togosan. Maybe she'd get in Madoka's pants easier if she prepared some Botamochi beforehand.
Same, it gets me every time.
Even if Yuyuyu has dark elements we've been ruined. Part of the appeal of Madoka was it came out of nowhere. Hidamari Sketch style cutesy shojo looking series with the senpai getting beheaded.
The only thing that could shock us if it went Higurashi tier guro or added some plot twist like Bokurano.
Great OST, I'm already sold. About the show. I don't even watch it but it's really nice they managed to hire such great talent to compose the music. I hope this show sells well. Anyways thanks for the preview!
>it came out of nowhere
Everyone and their mom knew shit was going down the exact moment the words Urobuchi were mentioned on the staff. Anyone who actually got surprised at Madoka going "dark" is a complete fool.
The angels are all defeated with no instrumentality or 3rd impact. I guess we can just take it easy now for 7 episodes, and the shadowy totalitarian Taisha, they probably won't show up again.
I'm rather disappointed with her super henshin form though. It sucks cause she already has the best base form in design and power.
>I'm rather disappointed with her super henshin form though
Same here. I wanted her to have a more simplistic henshin form like Fuu but I guess they needed to give her something to take down the vertex core and they settled on giant fists.
I wish they could have come up with something more aesthetically pleasing but oh well.
I have no expectations. But my body is ready.
Because she's really fun.
This fucking scene.
>Wow! She's so fast!
>has her face pointing directly forward while doing free-style
It's like they're trying to make me mad. Hydrodynamics, niggers.
It's probably just for cinematic effect, they have to show her DETERMINATION to be the best and to win. If she tilted her head to the side it just wouldn't have the same effect.
Finally, the original anime [Yuuki Yuuna is a hero] has started broadcasting.
Please pay attention to the characters' cuteness and their heroism.
I created this with the intention of not showing any male characters.
I think it's enjoying enough to see girls talking and doing other things with each other.
Takahiro knows what's up.
This scene would have been so many times better if Togo was actually doing the shooting rather than the octopus robot thing.
Her being ballin' as fuck with duel pistols or something would have been hot.
That would have looked cool, but she already has dual-wielding pistols she used only once.
The whole point of the transformation would have been wasted had she just used two guns.
Her vertex kill was cute as fuck.
On a scale between raw power and useful gimmick, she's the furthest on the gimmick side.
Yuuna is pure raw power, followed closely by Fuu and Karin, Mimori is somewhere in the middle and Itsuki far on the other side.
Basically one tank, two melee damage dealers, one ranged, one support. Pretty much an ideal mix.
I'm only on episode 3 yet ... have they explained what the "coloring in" of the flower seal on their uniforms does?
Seeing the somewhat dark hints early on, I've been imagining it either means they lose their powers, or they die or something.
They have a temporary powerup called mankai. They become overpowered, but get extremely tired as well. Nothing much worth spoiling here, but you should see them for yourself.
I'm still waiting for her three fairies to merge and produces some awesome especial attack. It'd be such a waste if they don't do it.
Check the updated rankings.
***, 280 of / ***, 345 of ★ (** 1,032 pt) [*, * 19 Reservations] 2014/12/17 Yuki Yuuna is a hero 1 [Blu-ray]
If it maintains the ranking somewhere around 200-250, it would be able to at least cross the Manabi line, which is at 2899 points.
But looking at the overall points, and how it isn't even half-done yet, it seems it would cross the line.
>Where's the suffering
>Why hasn't anybody died yet
Those are the reasons.
The anime doing better than Yuuki Yuuna right now are basically all the ones that were guaranteed to sell, with the exception of Shirobako.
If they keep up the decent work and don't fuck up extremely bad, this show will at least reach 3000 points.
Actual best super henshin.
Sunrise, Robots, Lesbian rape scenes, dragons, normal lesbian scenes.
Sunrise was aiming for money with that one, basically.
Shirobako is doing pretty good. Pretty consistent too.
Tougou is actually an assassin from the future that was sent into the past to kill Yuna before she could become the vertex queen that destroys the world. However, there was a malfunction in the time travel device that left her crippled and with amnesia. WILL SHE REMEMBER IN TIME?!!!
It's the same as what they gave out when they screened the first five episodes. It's just a demo for the Vita game, which is more than a VN by the way. It has actual gameplay in it where you fight vertex or whatever. They haven't announced a full pc version at all.
>Coming next week: The adverse effects of using Mankai are revealed
>Fuu becomes blind
>Itsuki becomes mute
meaning the sisters will have one hell of a time trying to talk to each other
>Yuuki loses the use of her arms, the two Mankai fists now being part of her regular mahou shojo powers
>Togo loses her yamato damashi
>Karin gets gets offed by the temple when she goes asking questions about how mankai fucked the others up. All the other girls suddenly forget everything about her.
Theory by some other poster a week ago.
How the fuck can it be so accurate? Are you Takahiro undercover?
>Want to become singer
In4 next episode, she receives an acceptance email from this site
>How the fuck can it be so accurate? Are you Takahiro undercover?
No, I mainly went with Tales of Symphonia's twist about Colette (I made one or two posts about it here), starting with Itsuki losing her voice since they used and episode on her song and going with the worst case scenario.
The true suffering is finally here!
First they will make you feel secure by making them smile happily and say it's going to be just temporary just to make the shock even bigger when you finally realize it's actually permanent.
I'm not sure that's been totally confirmed. They upgraded their equipment in the last chapter. They didn't say exactly what Sumi's new weapon is but they definitely hinted that it's that sniper rifle, and if so they may be able to mankai too.
Well that only fuels the permanent aftereffects theory.
Taisha is seriously fucked up if they took away Tougou's legs and friends and then made her a yuusha again so that she could experience it twice.
Permanent would be a bit weird for the story. They all suffer to differently. Loosing the ability to hear on one ear has no impact while being mute totally changes the character.
Anyone that doesn't min-max when it comes to nutrition cares about tastes, which is most people in general. Karin probably wouldn't give a shit if she lost her sense of taste.
>in this episode there are no sign of improvement after a week so that's basically...
That's right. No sign of improvement whatsoever after a week. That's worrisome.
Also, I don't have subs yet. Can anyone tell me what does the message Taisha sent Fuu at the end say?
I am not so sure. If it was really permanent it would have made more sense to start the suffering. It is TOO happy. The whole mood of the anime does not fit it. We are half way through and to add the suffering twist now would feel kinda weird.
Then why did the imouto join the idol thing? This will be what will make their situation sink in, when she is accepted and can't join.
Its pretty clear they are going for a different suffering here, they won't outright kill characters at an early episode for shock value, they are going for a more discrete approach, something that will slowly creep in while we are feeling a false sense of security.
Come on, you can't tell me you feel completely safe about the future of these girls.
>Come on, you can't tell me you feel completely safe about the future of these girls.
I kinda do. Can you name a recent anime that had any Magical Girl die permanently? Even Madoka had some kind of happy end.
Well, up until now the anime did a pretty good job at confusing the fuck out of everybody and taking unexpected turns with each new episode, so I think it could still go pretty much anywhere.
Yeah, just like Togo's legs.
That conversation on the rooftop between Tougou and Yunna.
>Was I a good hero?
>Yes, you were! You were a really cool hero, Tougou-san!
I love her.
This show is so fucking chill, I just hope there isn't some surprise silly shit like the effects worsen or one of them needs to move away or dies.
How do Karin's legs line up with her body?
The power of SUPPLEMENTS will prevent any damage to Karin
They gave her an insignificant issue so she could fight without problems. The others will have some inconvenient fighting. Fuu has her field of vision reduced, and Tougou's hearing thing could be a problem too. Itsuki won't even be able to invoke her sealing ability if she can't talk. But Yuuna's conveniently just fine.
I bet Yuki was totally wet in this scene
There was a bit too much emphasis on "it's going to get better, right?" this episode.
Then again, Taisha thinks it's temporary too, after all there is no physiological damage.
They're kinda like disabled war veterans now, and Fuu look quite cool with that eyepatch.
My body is ready too.
They have trolled us before with those death flags, they might as well troll us again and they fully recover soon.
Can't wait for next episode.
I just can't relax with this show.
I constantly have a feeling that some evil is creeping behind the scenes and at any moment all hell is is gonna break loose.
I guess Itsuki can't be a singer anymore? And just when she finally found her goal.
Will they turn into Vertices when despair takes over?
So, Yuuna prefer red hero after all...
It's sucks being blue for Togo
I don't know what you're hinting at.
They have fulfilled their duty to defend the Shinju-sama against the 12 vertices therefore they have been released from fighting duty.
Since they need their phones to transform anyway and since those are controlled by the Taisha there is no way of them rebelling against the Taisha by using those powers.
Also there would be no point in lying to them about the permanency. If it's permanent the girls will sooner or later realize that. So if Taisha knew that and told them otherwise while they will eventually find out anyway, that would make no sense at all.
Also Taisha granted Karin's request, they might not be bad.
As for the health problems, I presume that this was maybe the first time someone used the mankai system. Two years ago when Sumi was fighting they didn't even have fairies, all this seems like a huge experiment in creating and enhancing battle gear and the girls are kinde like guinea pigs trying out the stuff. So the Taisha probably really didn't know anything. But they got valuable data I suppose.
No, like I said, she was Sumi back then, and since they didn't even have fairies they certainly didn't have mankai either.
>There was a bit too much emphasis on "it's going to get better, right?"
Exactly how I feel. I bet Taisha took their spirits and everything so that they could recycle them for another yuusha-bu to use and Yuuna and the others will just be left to live with their disabilities.
Probably. Now, for the memory part, It still could be something other than Taisha erasing her memories?
This. Just a look at this scene >>116863757 and you know something is going up at any moment.
1. It's Tougou.
2. Back, then it was not Tougou, it was Washio.
3. Might be possible, perhaps back then the system was completely experimental and Sumi going full mankai got a barrage of reverse effects from it. I mean, aren't they up against all 12 vertex at the same time in the LN? How would they be able to chase them away if not with some crazy stunt?
What I heard is that in the LN they did not have those. Or did they get it after Gin's death?
That's onee-san talking, the girl's sign was translated as "You aren't?"
Wait, do you think I'm hungry 24 hours a day? (fairly literal, just turned a negative declaration into a question)
Et tu, little sister? 妹今で？ (much more literally, "Now little sister?")
Et tu really doesn't fit.
>Yuna will never know and fall in love with the taste of semen
What's her disability? If it turns out she can't use her womb anymore I'll be mad.
Okay, now things start making more sense.
Sumi might really have gone full mankai and it hurt her badly. Then after that Taisha tried to find ways to reduce the damage and now it turned out it didn't work completely.
This show is for yurifans not to piece of shit like you, dammit
Yuuna's just a slut. She can't help it.
>adapting to civy life again
This was rather surprising.
>won't even come close to Karin's hand
Yuuna's hand virginity is for Togo alone.
>Tougou covers her left ear, her left ear can't hear
>Itsuki and Yuuna cover their mouths, mute and no taste
>Fu's hair covers her left eye, her left eye can't see
Karin's leg covers her right leg, her leg?
DAMN YUUNA YOU ONLY FINISHED THE HEAD SECTION! DID YOU EVEN LOOK AT THE BODY SECTION?
WAIT, DID YOU EVEN CLOSE YOUR HEAD TAG?
COME BACK HERE YUUNA! YOUR HOME PAGE WILL NEVER BE RESPONSIVE IF YOU KEEP THIS UP!
To be honest I'd be happy if the next six episodes were just them trying to readjust to being normal.
Like, one of their classmates pauses mid-sentence and they completely freak out for a second, then realise everyone is staring at them and they're not actually back in the jungle.
Nah. Look at how all the girls are covering/partially covering the part in which they lost something.
Karin is covering up her pussy with her knee. Most likely she will lose the ability to feel the pleasure of being cummed inside.
She will lose her sense of balance.
Most of the girls have lost one of their senses, either partially of completely. The only exception seems to be voice, which is not a sense.
However, sight, hearing, taste and balance are all senses. That's why it would the logical next thing to lose.
Every fucking day. Every single fucking day when i come to train this little faggot just stands there and gives me this stupid look on her face. What should i do about her? Ideas?
Did they just translate Maou as Wizard King?
>how dare say a straight girl is straight!
Illya fags are literal cancer and deserve to get fucked buying into yuri bait pander and letting Japan know they can get away with shit like that.
You supporting garbage like Illya is worse than people who like lesbian conversion.
AND THEN YUUKI YUUNA WA YUUSHA DE ARU BECAME THE KATAWA SHOUJO OF THE MAGICAL GIRL GENRE
