I'mn looking for anime with great fight sequences
Is there any anime that comes close to Samurai Jack in terms of choreography and animation?
What I want in an anime: big burly men (bonus points for beards), brutal and creative killing/rape, simply epic plot twists, all female characters have short kawaii hair, are over the age of 16, and are preferably dead or publicly shamed by end of the series. Extensive bara gay scenes are OK, but if two females as much as look at each other I'll scream. Animal sidekicks are a plus, especially if a penguin, reptile, or black man.
That reminded my KnK OVA had finished downloading.
Ben 10 is great. I watch it every day on 4kids. My favorite episode is when some rich kid walks into another dimension, stays there for a few years and returns as villan commanding a robotic army. I didn't like it when he transformed Ben and his buddy into 11 year olds. But it was a very good episode and the fight scenes are better than Evangelion's.
Ben 10 is fucking great.
>jack fights a ninja
>the ninja is a robot too
The best action scenes in Samurai Jack were the chase scenes, I only remember a couple of the fights being good.
By far the most memorable part of the show is the atmosphere though. You had episodes where you could fit all the dialogue for the entire episode on one sheet of paper and it wouldn't come close to filling it. Long stretches of silence without even BGM, just ambient noise and longshots of Jack walking through a huge painted landscape. That's shit you don't see very often in western shows. It made the show stick with me.
Pic related, he's my favorite Ben 10 hero. I like it because he fights with honor and never runs away.
I think it was implied that a lot of his opponents were actually cyborgs considering how many of them had skin, hair, and emotions, the mechanical parts just allowed them to get away with all of the brutal dismemberment and bisections.
You're wrong. This world has become corrupted by greed and this ruthless mindset of yours. People need to help each other. That's what makes us humans and that's what I would fight for.
Don't ask me to give up on my beliefs. I'm doing my part to change the climate and you can stop me if you want, but I won't let you.
There are good action animes out there. I like Gundam 08th MS Team, Vampire Hunter D, the new Hellsing, Avengers: Confidential. These are good to start with.
SAOfags are actually just mad deluded in general. Don't bother criticizing the show in their presence, they refuse to admit it has flaws and will make up shit for days to explain the plotholes and badly written characters.
Don't get me wrong, I love Samurai Jack, but if you think it's the greatest in terms of choreography and animation, you're pretty new.
These guys are actually right >>113432059 >>113432505, Futari Wa and HeartCatch had some excellent fight choreography.
Bullshit. I distinctly remember him destroying futuristic vehicles piloted by blatantly flesh-and-blood beings, the loophole there being you don't actually see them die in the huge explosion, but it's obvious what is happening there.
Also, though it probably doesn't count, there was an entire episode consisting entirely of Jack killing an army of zombies in a massive graveyard. It really doesn't get much more hardcore than that, as far as TV-Y7 is concerned.
