What I want in an anime: big burly men (bonus points for beards), brutal and creative killing/rape, simply epic plot twists, all female characters have short kawaii hair, are over the age of 16, and are preferably dead or publicly shamed by end of the series. Extensive bara gay scenes are OK, but if two females as much as look at each other I'll scream. Animal sidekicks are a plus, especially if a penguin, reptile, or black man.

Ben 10 is great. I watch it every day on 4kids. My favorite episode is when some rich kid walks into another dimension, stays there for a few years and returns as villan commanding a robotic army. I didn't like it when he transformed Ben and his buddy into 11 year olds. But it was a very good episode and the fight scenes are better than Evangelion's.
Ben 10 is fucking great.

The best action scenes in Samurai Jack were the chase scenes, I only remember a couple of the fights being good.

By far the most memorable part of the show is the atmosphere though. You had episodes where you could fit all the dialogue for the entire episode on one sheet of paper and it wouldn't come close to filling it. Long stretches of silence without even BGM, just ambient noise and longshots of Jack walking through a huge painted landscape. That's shit you don't see very often in western shows. It made the show stick with me.

Bullshit. I distinctly remember him destroying futuristic vehicles piloted by blatantly flesh-and-blood beings, the loophole there being you don't actually see them die in the huge explosion, but it's obvious what is happening there.
Also, though it probably doesn't count, there was an entire episode consisting entirely of Jack killing an army of zombies in a massive graveyard. It really doesn't get much more hardcore than that, as far as TV-Y7 is concerned.
