Found this post from curtain artist patreon page a few days ago. I won't say a name but people who have patreon account problaly know who it is.

It really nice lame convenient excuse for lazy person so they can release less work for same amount of money they already got before hand

This is one drawback for prepaid(donate?) system on patreon, if you pledge artist who set payment per month (not work set) but not able to finish reward ontime for very long time

You can't do anything about it since you already paid money in advance.
