Does anyone know what happened to Mjesperandieu since Ygallery went down? He had such an extensive gallery
Also Mjesperandieu thread.
bonus points if : his Danny Phantom or his FF XII stuf
>pls don't post without permission
We're respectively pretending he doesn't exist like he apparently wants us to.
I talk to him and still get trades. We're all just waiting for Y! 2.0. I have permission to post my trades but I just don't feel right doing it before he does post them somewhere else. (I'm not home right now...) I may make an exception later and post one, we'll see. (Really not trying to be a tease/dick, I just really do feel weird posting them before he does, even with permission)
>>2396686
Somewhere else? Any kind of social known network? Why is he being so secretive ?
>>2396689
For me it's just email. As far as I know, Y! is his only home. He just seems like a fairly private person, and I think he's said that he's afraid people he knows IRL would figure out its him.
Here's my one post, but the rest will be saved till Y1 2.0/he posts them somewhere.
>>2396691
Glad to know he's still drawing and is a shame we won't see more of his work until Y! Comes back
And is also nice to see he has improved even more on his artwork, send him congratulations
>>2396547
The way he draws pubes is so hot
>>2396691
Wow that's amazing. I didn't expect to see such improvement. It's actually very nice. Tell him we miss him
>>2396691
What? Are you takatofan? I remember you back there in in y!
>>2396934
Yeah I am :) I feel extremely lucky that he wants to do trades with me. I never felt like my fics were anywhere near as good as his work.
Y! 2.0 seems to be coming along. I can't wait to see everyone back there, again when it's back, and have a place to post my fics. (I have clean fics on Fanfiction.net under Takato the dreamer, but I won't post the lemons there, just Y!)
Just so I'm not spamming too much, I'll post an older trade of mine that was on Y!. Don't feel weird about that ^^
>>2396936
Nice,i can't wait to be back there, I miss going there literally everyday to see everyone's updates
>>2396936
bullshit that only tumblr users are invited to the Y!2.0 beta.
*cough* are you guys going to post anything or...
>>2397028
>>2397029
Just remembered how his drawings illustrated a joke that he's have to write a paragraph to explain.
Probably why he doesn't want people posting it anywhere else without the needed context.
>>2397027
I understand why you are frusterated, but, how else would they find you? The old database is gone. And anyway only 50 people will beta
>>2397051
And probably most of them will be artists/writters.
>off topic rant
>>2397084
*narcissistic artists and writers who just want to use y-gallery as a billboard to funnel traffic back to themselves. The type of people who think doing a song & dance of their own volition entitles them to recompense.
They won't participate in any group activities. They're so self-severing you need their permission to to critique them in a public place. They won't comment on other submissions. If they communicate at all it will be through image micros. And they'll probably convince the developers to give them privileges to hide their activity and make submissions private, so they can be as anti-social as possible. Because they don't want to join a community, be part of the crowd - they want to stand on the community like a stage and surf the crowd on a wave of +fav, likes, new subscribers notices.
>>2397098
You just described the simple nature of being a content creator since olden days. You learn a craft, you put out your product, and if people feel it meets their expectations they support and praise you, and if they don't, they go somewhere else. There's nothing in the job description that says you *have* to be social with everyone. Socializing is not an obligation except in some careers like diplomacy.
I DO hope new Y-gal is started with artists and writers in mind. Tumblr is a fuck-awful place for posting art, with a terrible architecture for comments and threading. An artist-friendly site is painfully needed.
>>2397102
Actually it does. That's what a community is. You can't dumb it down to an arbitrary category of people who share some proximity. Like "those people by the window over there" - that's not a community.
And anyone that's jobless with a college diploma can tell you that a learning craft doesn't earn you a place in the world.
Look at Barabox. Where are all the comments? Where are the barabox commissioners? They're just reposting stuff from their tumblr pages because barabox has no community to speak of. People signed up but have no reason to stay. The artists aren't even talking to each other. No one's using the site features like journals. No one's doing art trades or collaborations - why do you think that is?
It's an excuse to make another vanity profile.
>>2397132
but that's the question: what's wrong with vanity profiles? They serve a purpose, they're good for artists to showcase their work, which in turns leads to recognition, recognition means to clients, clients leads to income, income leads to food and food leads to the artist being able to draw because they're not crippled by bills.
Also, I disagree. A community is a place where you CAN socialize, but that doesn't mean you *should.* Furthermore, you shouldn't get punished for choosing not to.
>>2397098
I dunno if this helps your issue, but on the new Y!, You can block users you don't wanna see.
Also, Barabox sucks. I've seen so many bugs, ect...
>>2397132
>why do you think that is?
because Barabox is still fairly new? Like any new website, there won't be much activity. The community is still growing and sure it's buggy, but the admins do help with any problems you have through the support desk and ideas links. Naturally any artist would repost some of their old art to a new site to get things started, that's a thing that happens everywhere. And there's a couple artists that link to their Barabox profiles to help the site get more users.
Come on people. Don't discuss on that subject. He is indeed missed and we all wanted him to post in pixiv , tumblr or even patreon...but we need to respect his decisions. The maximum we could do is try to convince him to do so. Maybe takatofan could help us with that since he is in touch with him.
alright those are all the ones i managed to rescue. still lost a lot of my faves
Wow, it's a good thing literally no one ever gave half a shit about his "do not post" warnings, because his drawings are everywhere
>>2396547
pretty sure he's the guy behind b-movie comic
some of his old voting incentives were straight up his old giulio mazarini y-gallery account artwork
http://www.bmoviecomic.com/
>>2396691
I think that you're like, the source for all the digimon smut now-a-days.
>>2399374
that's definetly him, jeez...i didn't know about that comic. Takatofan, you are our only hope! We need your help, contact him..h needs to come back for us
>>2399388
Tell him I won't forgive him for deleting the Three Delivery slash.
The only of it's kind on the net and he deletes it long before Y! disappeared. The monster!
>>2399374
>http://www.bmoviecomic.com/
Woah, I had no idea anyone else knew about that comic. I remember back in like 2007 I used to wonder if he might have been the same person. Comparing the art now, it's undeniable, he even uses the same font!
.. Of course we don't know who the Bmovie comic guy is EITHER who is EQUALLY aloof online...
To compare, here's some old fanart that B-Movie sent to a webcomic wayyy back in like 2006 or 7. He was still really into the sexy art mixed with weird gags
Mjesperandieu, if you are reading this or ver read this. Please come back
