>3:00 am
>doing what I do usually, sitting behind the front desk trying not to fall asleep
>dozing off when I hear the front door open
>look up and see a large guy struggling to close the door against the wind and the snow
>he's wearing a large, grey winter coat with a ushanka
>he walks up to the front desk and I get a better look at him
>his face is covered with a balaclava and snow googles

>once they arrive we head to his room
>I open the door for them
>no one is in the room
>bed is made
>tv is on displaying static
>cops check security footage
>no one ever left the room, in fact, the security footage never shows him arriving in a car, he just walks up to the hotel from the forest (extremely strange since the hotel was 20ish miles from the nearest town)
>he didn't give me I.D or credit card so we couldn't find out who he was
