2012 should've been proof to everyone with half a brain that these predictions are bunk. It had the most genuine weight behind it, so many people talked about it, that very specific date--December 21st, 2012. Yet NOTHING happened. No one had any prediction dates beyond that because it was supposed to be the big one. It came, and some people randomly came out and said, "BUT WAIT! It's actually February 2013!" Came and went. I put no stock in the 2012 prediction as it was simply a date which a group of heathens decided to stop calculating their calendar. However the birth of Jesus was marked by an astronomical event, most likely a supernova. The Book of revelations prophesied that beginning of the end times would be marked by another event which could be translated as the astronomical one we know is scheduled to happen on 9/23/17. Is this real? Perhaps not for no man however wise knows the hour or day upon which the Lord will return. I suppose we shall see friends.

The thing is that these people just seek excitement in the mundane world but instead of reading a book, watching anime, playing vidya or picking up a different hobby they lose themselves into conspiracy theories and /x/ tier magic/divination.
