hello, first time coming to this board but i've been needing to clear something up for some world building dealing with the hierarchy of angels and demons.
while i know there is a clear cut caste for angels, divided into angel, archangel, principalities, powers, virtues, dominions, thrones (orphanim), cherubim and seraphim, i couldnt for the life of me find a similar structural counterpart online, most sources just name every type of demon, name the demon princes, lump them into broad categories and so on; i have yet to see a caste that ranks demons from lowest to highest, or weakest to strongest.
i came to the conclusion that this was just open to interpretation but it still irks me. then i thought what place has several enthusiasts of all things supernatural, and are consistently online? the first thing that popped into my head of course was /x/. if there isnt some clear consensus on the organization of demons and fiends, surely this thread would serve as a form of discussion and debate and maybe ill learn something new.
