>more pills than a high school prep
sad isn't it
Genuine paranormal experiences are hard to come by.
Honestly /x/ is a bit of a wild card board. Why? Think of it this way. boards like /p/ or /ic/ have "hard content" to rely on. There are always pictures to be taken and faggots painting their stupid shit. It's a thing that exists.
/x/ doesn't have "hard content". So, your complaints aren't really valid. It's a last minute thrown together board all day, every day whether you like it or not
What was /x/ like in its golden years, if you don't mind me asking? How could it really be any different? Hint: it can't. It's always going to be people telling fucking stories. It's only going to be one out of three or so things.
LARPing, you don't like it. I get it. Everyone can have their opinion. But when you think about it, it's just creepypasta that's interactive. If anything, a good LARP is /x/ innovation.
We have the old fashioned nope threads, which can either be real or fictional stories, both still good content.
Then we have the more practical occult general with summoning, and the divinations thread.
And then everything else that doesn't belong anywhere other than /x/. people don't take the paranormal seriously because, let's be honest, people who have genuine paranormal experience are few and far between, so it ends up as fairy tale stuff to the normies.
It can't really be any better, because it has limited potential to begin with
