They signed up a bunch of people for transfer to LFE after death, and then folded. The purpose was NOT to accomplish anything in THIS world (LIFE). According to them this simulation is hopelessly broke and will be shut down when the last (real) incarnated soul dies in about a hundred years.

If what he said is true then people being born with NO SOULS will eventually cause the world to descend into darkness and evil. Everything will burn to the ground long before the "system admins" turn off the lights.

The site doesn't even work anymore. Oh well, I still have my registration email at least. I hope everyone involved found the answers they were looking for.

The site offered a service of uploading files to be available in LFE. You had to pay for this with bitcoin. Reasonable enough, the guy's got hosting costs. But I looked at it, and I thought, "What kind of files are people going to be most attached to? Hey, what kind of file would I be most attached to myself? How about my drafts of future novels?"

So I send him a message asking if he's making people pay him to keep their porn stashes and diaries, and two days later the project folded up and died.

The owner of it Tsuki is some pathological, lying neckbeard. It wasn't shocking that the project failed. The discord was a disaster.

I read the WHOLE site, it took me a few hours. There were a lot of glossaries, indexes, and files that were not linked or easy to find from any centralized menu, but people kept finding them and posting the links.

Just for reference. He claimed that all "worlds" use a source of energy from a central source. This energy is free but not infinite, so system administrators have to use it wisely. THIS system was designed poorly (and also abandoned) and as such uses more of this "source" than it should. It's like a memory leak, or power draw. He claimed that this "world" has been reset dozens of time but the gross inefficiency in "source" usage always returns and grows exponentially. That's why this is the LAST version of LIFE. This time it will NOT be reset, but rather decommissioned, and all souls will be randomly transferred to other worlds.

If you look past all the modern computer analogies it's not that much different than many Gnostic beliefs.
