Lucifer refers to Satan before the fall, when he was so beautiful he shone. After the fall, he became Satan, the adversary, a thief and a murderer.

The idea of a “bright morning star” is a star that outshines all the others. Satan, as perhaps the most beautiful creation of God, probably the most powerful of all the angels, was a bright morning star. The basis of all polytheistic pantheons are fallen "angels" and their offspring with human women. The truly Illuminated ones are neither rebels nor controllers. They are outcasts. They are neutral, always acting in accordance for the best of the human species overall. Horus is the Egyptian conception of the Archangel Michael, and Set is the Egyptian conception of Satan.
