Yeah so the image has been screwed with. Could tell right away just by looking at it. Quick google search of it shows it typically exists in a higher color palette. So, I assumed it had been pixelated on purpose. That and I saw the pixels in the upper right.

Alright, why not. Through it in photoshop and zoomed to the upper right. Upper right has a 2 color pattern of pixels. Ran the obvious binary on it and, yep, it says something...

Translates to:
"help"

Pretty cliche but alright. Judging by the look of the image vs. how it normally looks I would assume there is more to it. There are colored pixels strewn about it and extra lines added. I am wondering if there is a message or something interlaced in it and converting the pixels to, say numbers, or letters, probably reveals more.

I have other stuff to do atm so I suppose I will leave this to someone else to pick up and continue if they desire.

Perhaps a pool of water or something. Looks like it has something to do with the lake and Gillespie reservoir to the south west and other pools spread out around it. There are these "connections" spiderwebbed off of it. Like some kind of channels or irrigation paths or something connecting these pools together.

Alright, nothing crazy but opening the image in a text editor gives you metadata in the header. Looks like Mr. Spoopy uses Windows with Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 (snippet below). Also looks like he maybe had it open for about a half an hour while making it based on the create and modify dates. Makes me wonder if all he did was add the effects to screw up the image (wind, threshold, colored noise pixels, etc) and then add the binary "help" pattern. Other metadata in there but nothing that particularly stands out.

Alright, I am done with the image. Pretty sure there is nothing more to it then the binary. Screwing around in photoshop with the original got me pic related. Not hard to see how someone could throw in some noise and and the binary and in 30 mins have a spoopy image.

Doubting there is anything to this but if there is it likely resides in the coordinates. Unless someone lives near-ish to these Wyoming locations then thats likely where it ends.
