How come x hasn't reacted yet to hurricane harvey? First

As bad as the storm is for the people there, its not something that should be used as the precursor to an apocalypse. Its affecting one third of one state in one country on the entire planet. You would need 10 of these storms all impacting major population concentrations all over the world simultaneously in order to make the claim that something bigger is going on here.
