However, I fear we reach a dead end. I honestly can't see how the prospective effect would result in the reversing of the firmament apparent movement.
In particular when you get the same effect observing the night sky pointing at different directions. As example pointing to north in the northern emisphere and pointing south in the southern emisphere; which, If I get the flat model, it means pointing towards two different sky areas in both the models (flat and globular).
