Either consciousness continues, in which case death is a transition, transition to what is up for debate by religion and shit, but some part of your consciousness continues on.

Or, you die, fade to black, you fear existing. In that case, you won't exist to know you don't exist, so you won't know what it feels like to not think, so frontier perspective in your body, even though you die, you won't be aware of it, so from your perspective you can only know existence.

Either way, you exist, you only know existence, so chill :).

Think about it like this, you didnt have any bad experiences before you were born right? why would you think it would be any different when you die.
