I recently rediscovered this series. Although it's probably close to 30 years old, I enjoy it's aesthetic, music and format. Any other shows of this sort that you liked? And maybe your favorite episodes?

Do you remember Rods anon? The show Sightings had a story on them and it was sort of a pre-millenium mystery. I had the feeling the camera operators knew. It was just too "mysterious" to pass up as paranormal.

You may like Mysterious World if you've never heard of it. Used to rustle my jimmies back in the pre-internet days.

Of course, I forgot the link.
How about Dr. Franklin Ruehl's Sci-fi show? He died in November of 2015 apparently.

That's another good one. Clarke added some much needed credibility.

Aaah they had a marathon of this shit on the sci fi channel and I was binging it for like 2 days when I was like 10. I remember this one dramatized scene of a woman driving down the road and seeing a bigfoot eating a carcass in the shoulder. Gave me nightmares for weeks, still gives me chills to this day. Damn good show.
>In Search of Ancient Astronauts in 1973 (based on the book Chariots of the Gods? by Erich von Däniken), In Search of Ancient Mysteries and The Outer Space Connection, both in 1975 (later adapted into popular paperbacks written by Landsburg). All three featured narration by Rod Serling, who was the initial choice to host the spin-off show. After Serling's death, Leonard Nimoy was selected to be the host.[1]

Nimoy was great in it. The series had a Cosmos-esque atmosphere.

There is usually a couple great paranormal military story threads a couple times a year. Sadly none of note lately.
