As the light source moves from one side of middle object to the other, the shadow/eclipse it casts on the viewing object will move in the opposite direction.

North Korea, if they do mount a nuke on a missile capable of reaching the US, has failed on so many levels in the past that I would totally doubt their ability to actually aim the device. Basically, they'll be lobbing a warhead somewhere towards North America. Where it lands, it lands.
