Have you ever thought of a person you haven't seen or heard about for years, only to find out later that they died?

One day a few months ago, I started to think of a kid in my 9th grade English class who I hadn't laid eyes on for a decade. His name just popped into my head one afternoon with nothing to cause me to think of him, and after a bit of speculation about his current life, I put it out mind. Around a week later, I was visiting a friend who told me the kid from my English class had died from a Heroin overdose the week before. There had been no reports of his death on television or in the newspaper, and I don't use social media; thus, I found the whole affair to be quite unusual.
