Piggybacking of the other sync/vox thread - what if noticing syncs or getting caught in behavioral loops is a form of embryonic hive mind? Like an emergent multi-faced brain of people all noticing the same things because their perceptions of reality and thus psychoses and mental ticks are becoming aligned.

What if noticing and obsessing over syncs never ends well because it's the equivalent of a neuron firing inwards, and the person doing that gets caught in a loop chasing their own tail? But noticing it with other people, or even noticing the same syncs results in a level of community and intimacy deeper than friendship or family simple because the very perception of reality of multiple people fuses and becomes the same?

Is this how religions started? Is this the beginning of the end?
