Gurdjieff claims two things which strike me as relating to what the OP has said: that through a combination of the sexual fluids in the body (for either the male or female) and conscious mastery over oneself, a new body or soul can be developed in oneself. And second, that horns/antlers were a sign used by an ancient secret society that painted the Lascaux cave-paintings to represent the degree of attainment of wisdom of a man. This is why he has Beelzebub in his magnum opus grow his horns at the end of the work to show how much wisdom/what a status of self-development of his being and consciousness Beelzebub has gained.

The horns on the reindeer, he said, are like Beelzebub's horns. The number of points on the antlers represented the degree of attainment of the man. However, this is likely only symbolic, not literal. Think about where horns or antlers come from: the top of the head, almost as if they come from the brain. They're a symbol of how when someone develops their consciousness enough, they can begin to have definite effects on the world around them --- the range of their brain literally extends beyond their head.

Also, as in your pic, there's the statues of Moses with horns, according to the strange Biblical phrase that Moses descended from his talk with God "horned" with wisdom (which others say was a mistranslation and could also be interpreted as "haloed"/rays of light coming from his face).
