I don't come here often but I figure I'd poke my nose in since I had come across something that interested me. Specifically, what is your guys opinion/consensus on the Philadelphia experiment? More specifically the cases of Duncan Cameron Al Bielek

The official story is that it was a test of a degaussing system that was later blown out of proportion by one guy claiming to have watched it.
The other theory is that the ship being tested was nearly identical to the Philadelphia simply re-labelled, so if passers-by saw something weird, they'd say "I saw the Philadelphia doing X", when the actual Philadelphia was nowhere nearby.
Beyond that, despite the resources widely-available to the public, no one has legitimately demonstrated any of the effects described, and anyone claiming to do so has been blackballed as a scam artist.
