Hey guys I made a thread last night about weird shit I was seeing in the sky. I was watching this very bright light that was slowly moving. Probably a planet. But then I started seeing white flashing lights and three shooting stars at the same time next to each other. I caught the flashing on video.

https://youtu.be/xWqn7V6XDa0

The video is dark but pay attention to the bright white light in the sky and the smaller white flashes around it. I saw this with the naked eye. Not camera artifacts. Watch the vid in a dark place. When your taking a shit with the light off maybe. What do you guys think this was? Anyone see weird shit in the sky last night? This was seen in Oregon. Pic unrelated.

Yes. There's power lines. The brightest white light you see moved super slowly. In the image you see it to the far right of the light post. It started to the far left of it, same vantage point. I was using the trees as a reference and thats how I noticed it was moving.
>>
Ok hmmmmmm interesting what time did the light originally show up?
>>
Has /x/ evolved to a state where it needs clickbait to get people into it's threads?

ffs it worked!
>>

I can probably guess, what it was. Was it in the morning short before the sunrise? Because if it was short before sunrise, it likely was a satellite reflecting the sunlight.
>>
>>19352014
Don't know. Got home from work 3am. Went out to have a cig. Saw this light with a fog around it just behind the tree. Thought weird whatever. Look again and it's not behind the tree anymore. It's moved. Start watching it closely. Nothing but a slow moving bright ass light in the sky. Make thread asking if anyone else sees it. Then the shooting stars and light flashes happen. Freak out, never seen anything like it. Start recording, capture the flashes on video. Can you see them?
>>
>>19352024
Yes
>>
OP how did the lights disappear?
>>
>>19352034
It was around 3am until sunrise and I could still see it in daylight. Pretty sure it was not a reflection. It lasted for hours. Also there was the flashes.
>>
>>19352053
I didn't witness the brightest light disappear. Decided to go to bed and left it. The smaller flashes that happened after I saw the shooting stars, lit up and immediately went out. In several places all over the sky.
>>
>>19352054
Was it static? Did the flashes have a frequency? Could you observe out phenomenons related to the object?
>>
>>19352074
>Was it static?
The brightest light that originally caught my attention yes. But it was slowly moving. This is the one I referred to as probably a planet.
>>19352074
>Did the flashes have a frequency?
No it was a single event. Happened after I saw the shooting stars and started recording.
>>19352074
>Could you observe out phenomenons related to the object?
Don't know what this means.
>>
I guess it could have been a shit ton of satellites reflecting that I saw. No reason for me to think it was aliums. It was the combination of the super bright light, shooting stars, and then flashes immediately after that made it weird. Also three shooting stars right next to each other, wow. I'll be keeping an eye out on this area of the sky from now on.

Some help info I can give.
Planets don't blink, have like one color. The same apply for moon.
Star blink.
Comets are fast moving random directions and burn out fast.
>What else is there? This is phenomena to study.

Get application like Star Walk 2, to know what stars or planet are you looking at.

I tried that. The app didn't work. It wasn't the North star because that is supposed to appear stationary correct? Definitely not the moon. This thing remained one solid white color, like a star, but slowly moving. I've seen stars twinkle. These things flashed, then went out not to be seen again, in different seemingly random parts of the night sky. The shooting stars were just like normal. Appeared and then burned out with the tails and all. They didn't last long, three of them right next to each other.

I wish to add this.
https://www.flightradar24.com
Where you can use it to spot airplanes from this.

I notice to that some light is on, don't blink and move, aim in Europe and, yeah me to like to know what it was.
I was thinking is the airplane. Didn't have idea at the time to look at link I add here.

True
Try to get star app that work for you then.
