It all depends on skill level. It's a lot easier to read in person, but it does lend itself more to cold reading. I don't like reading in person because they have too many tells and make it too easy. However, some people simply cannot connect well over a distance. Our situation here in /div/ is somewhat unique due to the synergy mechanisms.

Inside or in coffee shops. I've dated a few and met several others (I wouldn't call them all cute, just young), and I have found that they're either not really open about their hobby/avocation or prefer to hang out in coffee shops. I dated a girl who did readings in bars, but I don't think that's as common.

You're more likely to find them hanging out in shops that sell things like tarot cards, crystals, candles, books, and such. Where I live, it's mostly obese women in their 40s who don't use deodorant, but there's the occasional young lady. Just be prepared to indulge her political rants.

If you really know what you're doing, divination isn't just advice. As it is, there's a constant challenge for the diviner to read free of ego. I don't like to say astrology is the "reason" for the things you're experiencing. The positioning of the stars and planets are more like omens to be read and interpreted. They're not "causing" it. Seems that circumstance will be the hardest factor to overcome, kind of like something in the way keeps making things sting for them. To continue with the prior wound analogy it's like minor incidents that remind you of a cut. Every get a papercut and forget about it? Washed your hands then becoming way too aware it was there when you lather up? I see a type of armour, much like a helmet or dome of sorts that's a deep grey colour and reminds me of something a ballistics type of person might use. A grey bleak looking shell really. It's no animate by first glance but moves slowly across the ground like a snail or even a little robot that people might by to clean up their apartment or let their cats ride. It kind of glides along the ground. Like a USO- unidentified scooting object. Okay that actually sounds kind of lewd now that I think about it, but uh the point is that it seems you have some resilience and personal boundaries to overcome in terms of living within a shell of some sort. Oddly enough experience or coming in contact with a particularly strong willed or generally just stamina driven person will change that. There will be a person with a great deal of endurance and personal strength that will seem to move past all that armour of yours and hit straight to the heart of the matter. It'll happen, in the mean time keep scooting along until something or rather someone catches your attention stopping you dead in your tracks.
