Space / time / gravity propulsion. Notice that they are half spheres like the (three) ones on the bottom of most saucers and triangle craft. Most cigar shaped craft have the hull extended to be flush with the spheres, so they only poke out a little.
>>
>>19315409
No, there's a dark matter reactor in the central section of the cylinder, and it emits gravitons in an interference pattern around the ship.

You don't need a dome in that faceted shape unless you are catching light while minimizing diffraction.
>>
>>19315430
>dark matter reactor
somehow i don't think anyone sufficiently intelligent so as to produce and harness 'gravitons' would know that term itself is rather meaningless as gravity as people call it is a direct reaction of EMR and should probably know there is better fuel sources than dark matter for such things

Gravitons are are unit measure of relativistic effects on light.

The detectors work on that basic principle.

Dark matter is the best generator for neutrino modulation, because we define it by the degeneracy of electron orbital states.

OP here.
>You'll notice the absence of exterior guns on these ships.
We don't need exterior guns anymore. We use neutrino-interference weapons. Basically we send two powerful neutrino-beams towards the target from two separate sources. One source is in one end of the spacecraft, the other is in the other end - the weapons range is proportional to the separation between the neutrino sources; this is why we the spacecraft has to be cigar shaped.
So, we send the neutrino beams from each end of the spaceship, and they cross inside the target. As long as the neutrino beams travel separately, they don't interact with matter, that's why we don't need external turrets or anything like that - the neutrinos travel freely thriugh the ships hull. However when the two beams cross inside the target, their spin-interference synthesises neutrons. So basically we "teleport" a huge lump of neutrons inside the target, which combines with its atoms and turns them into high-mass isotopes with short decay time. The nuclear decay then basically disintegrates the target from the inside.
>>
>>19316534
merely turning those beams on would electrocute everyone in the ship from the discharge and lack of grounding. How do you account for that?
>>
>>19313109
One time a smaller craft crashed and sec ops had to take a special case out to go retrieve it from a field. They were told not to touch it on account of how it was extremely cold. When they found it it was floating a few feet off the ground with damaged wires sticking out the top that would periodically short out and cause the object to drop to the ground for a moment. This was a story told by some old military dude on some disclosure youtube channel. In his own words though not some stupid robot voice.
>>
>>19316568
Hardly. Neutrinos are neutral and interact very weakly with regular baryonic matter. In fact at this very moment, thousands of neutrinos are flowing through your body from the Sun without you noticing it.
I can't tell you how we generate neutrino beams, because as far as I know this hasn't been discovered back on Earth, but I can tell you that the two beams are composed of neutrinos with opposite spin. Actually it's more complex than that, because the spin of an elementary particle is not a scalar value as scientists on Earth think, but a 2x2 matrix... But let's not go down this road I guess :^)
>>
>>19315617

>earthcucks are indeed the dumbest race in the Universe :^)

says the earthcuck RPing on a messaging board :^)
>>
>>19316569
Yeah, that was the TR-3B's propulsion system which used superconductors at very low temperatures to generate a magnetogravitational field.
We still use that for smaller crafts, but it's impractical for long-distance (i.e. interplanetary or farther) travel, because it can't propel you faster than two-thirds of the speed of light.
The bigger ships use so-called operator drives. They basically do a coordinate-transformation on the region of spacetime around the ship, so it's "swapped" with the destination region.
This tech goes back all the way to the Philadelphia Experiment by the way. It took 50 years for them to figure out how to do spacetime transformations without timelike components though. (That's what caused the disastrous results in the Philadelphia Experiment)
>>
>>19316595
I'm not talking about the charge that neutrinos carry, but the energy behind the machinery that creates and focuses these beams. Hell, without the right equipment, merely touching a freshly landed plane or helicopter that isn't grounded can stop your heart.
>>
alright... i will bite...

1) how do i get a job on this tech or type of ship. I have a highly applicable degree.

2) how did you get the job?

3) >spin of an elementary particle is not a scalar value as scientists on Earth think, but a 2x2 matrix...
you are gonna have to elaborate on that one bruh... what effects would be noticeable for electrons... are you referring to pauli matrices?

4) what is this magnetogravitational field? are we talking frame dragging from toroidal rotation via a superfluid to eliminate centripetal force?

5) neutrino-neutrino interactions will have to produce more than just neutrons based off addition of spin... what else does it produce? I will even ask it a better way, please write out the interaction term in the EW lagrangain that produces this neutron synthesis?

6) How does the operator drive work? is this the idea based off qcd/color/pion field leaking out of the nucleus of transuranic elements (115)?

7) >We already have the best scientists and the most trustworthy staff from Earth...

what did these people study? i happen to know some things and what skill set would be needed based off what you are saying and I dont see where you are recruiting people from unless you train in house... and if you are training in house then you are not recruiting the best...

any questions you could answer would be appreciated...

Honestly, if you're already an adult it's pretty much impossible to get "hired". I'm putting that in quotes, because we're not working here. We're like a brotherhood on the spaceships, and most of us have families on one of the colonies.
Most of us were selected at an early age by the government, via programs for gifted children.

>neutrino-neutrino interactions will have to produce more than just neutrons based off addition of spin... what else does it produce?
Based on your question I assume that scientists still haven't confirmed the existence of kappa-neutrinos on Earth... Hint: look into neutrino oscillation!

>How does the operator drive work? is this the idea based off qcd/color/pion field leaking out of the nucleus of transuranic elements (115)?
Nope. The operator drive is a tricky beast. I'm no expert in the topic, but as far as I know it "punctures" spacetime and performs a 10-dimensional rotation on the surface of the 11-dimensional manifold that is the Universe. Back in lur spacetime this is equivalent to "teleporting" huge distances instantaneously.

You show that you visited not more than one lecture of physics 101.
You sound literally retarded to anybody with Highschool physics under heir belt.

You're honestly so fucking cool man. Fuck this other guy, he is almost certainly full of bullshit, and it's hilarious how he keeps dodging any meaningful discussion you throw at him, but yeah, the fact that you can understand this type of stuff so fluently makes you a fucking hero in my eyes and I sincerely hope you end up getting to work on some shady Skunkworks projects or something along those lines. People like you deserve to be a part of stuff like that, not the people that usually come here, not the average person, not me. Good luck, and seriously, thank you for carrying on the advancement of our species' understanding of the universe.

nice digits... I just like to follow all the antarctica/pyramids/emdrive/breakaway civilization/nazi ufo threads...

basically, it seems to me that the rate of scientific advancement in certain areas (propulsion, energy, aerospace) have "stalled" since the 50's... what I mean by that is (approximately) 1900-1950 we went from wright brothers airplane to jet engines/rockets but there haven't been any real advances since... it seems suspicious to me, like they are keeping things under wraps...

also, if you look at pictures of ufo's, their general design appearance seems to follow the trends of the time... in short ufo's from the 40's-50's look like cars from back then and ufo's now are sleeker and sexier...

So, under the assumption that we are making ufo's, I am curious about how the engines work... emdrive, rotating superconducting mercury, some weird qcd/gravity wave/lazar type thing... I want to build one and go explore mars...

its all very interesting stuff and i figured someone that knows may leak what they know here or on /sci or /pol...

i appreciate the kind words senpai...

it took a lot of hard work to get up to speed on these types of things, and for the record i started in remedial math when i started undergrad (i couldnt even add fractions)... if i can do it then anybody can (seriously)... 90% of being successful is just being interested/passionate in these things... :)

skunkworks would be awesome... i applied to a few positions there but it is hard to tell what the jobs actually are. its always "systems engineer" or some other ambiguous such thing... hopefully one day i will get my foot in the door on some really cool project...

Yeah I hear you. While I'm not qualified in any way to understand any of how they might work, Black Projects are about the most interesting things in the world to me. I feel like people who scream aliens when they see UFOs need to take a step back and realize what exactly our technological growth rate has been from year to year and that the government wouldn't have any reason to disclose important things like that to every redneck hillbilly conspiracy theorist. In fact, we'd probably be fucked if they did, so yeah, I'm grateful for the secrecy. Best I can hope for is to see some outdated tech get approved for public use or disclosure in the coming decades, but I'll take it. Would definitely be interesting to be on the cutting edge of things though. I hope you get there seeing as your casual discussion of work could probably cause my brain to melt lol.

Anyway, given your expertise, knowledge, and experience, what would you say is, or are, the most interesting things relating to Quantum mechanics or the Universe at large.
Also why do particles behave differently upon being observed, do we fully understand that yet? I mean is it the act of viewing itself? It seems strange to me that particles would have or require any input from organic organisms in order to cement into a definite course from a multitude of Quantum variables/possibilities.. Forgive me if I'm completely off course or if that's something beneath you..

checked and keked...

I understand the need for secrecy... i just want to find way to get involved... i grew up on star trek etc. and i want nothing more than to explore other planets and be out in space... hopefully something starts coming out soon... i am curious to see what happens with all the space-x/mars business...

the weirdness of quantum was the reason i got into physics in the first place... i think the most interesting thing in quantum (currently) is related entanglement/teleportation... i know a few people that are working on how to "build spacetime" out of quantum entanglement. Also, quantum teleportation and quantum information are really cool subjects... i would bet money that this area will be the next industry to explode (like computers and then the internet)... Basically the idea behind all this stuff is that when you entangle two quantum particles (i.e. make them interact somehow) you actually create a wormhole which connects them. This is where this term "spooky action at a distance" comes from... basically the wormhole connecting the two particles is responsible for the communication/teleportation/etc. and also provides a "thread" to weave together the fabric of spacetime... the perimeter institute and university of waterloo are really big into this... also look up "it from bit" if you want to know more...

we dont understand why particles behave differently when they are observed. this has to do with the collapse of the wavefunction. roger penrose had a cool idea that this process may be due to some type of self gravitation effect... the general idea is that a particle will have a probability to be in some "state" and you can never know which until you measure it. each state will have a different energy (not always the case though) and once you measure what state the particle is in the wavefunction "collapses" into that state. The wave function will begin to "leak" out and spread the probability around to be in another state based off the difference in the energy levels... basically the time scale is 1/energy so if you keep poking the system at a time scale shorter than this you will keep collapsing the wave function into the same state, and if you poke it at a time scale greater then the wavefunction has time spread out again and you get probabilities of being somewhere else...

the cause of this is ultimately unknown but a good way to think about things is that (for the most part) quantum particles will interact like particles (i.e. billiard balls) but they will move around and propagate like waves (diffract and interfere etc.) ... the amplitude of this wave also encodes the probability of where the particle "is" while it propagates...

its all a big damn mess...

Besides some interesting and thought provoking dialogue, I have yet to see anybody provide any real proof, or scientific literature to support thier statements. Don't try to say that it's all locked up in black projects, info is out there, albeit you can only find 1 maybe 2 real documents for every 20 out there.
