Posted this in the other thread, but didn't get an answer, would love to hear any thoughts:

Can anyone help me interpret a reading I did for myself? Been dating a girl for a few months, she has distanced herself rather suddenly from me, but she is looking for a new job and a new place to live at the moment, so understandable, I suppose. I haven't heard from her since Wednesday, I texted her thursday, as well as frday, just short things hoping she has a good day, I still haven't heard anything back. I drew some cards to ask why and I got:

These are all majors, so it seems to be something big... Nothing I can come up with sounds right, though. Lovers as union between Emperor and Empress? No, that's not a reason she hasn't responded. Maybe Lovers as a choice, between the Emperor (getting her life in order) and the Empress (growing a relationship), the Emperor was drawn before Empress, so that is her first choice

I don't know, I would love to hear other people's thoughts

I'll take a shot from an Archetypical standpoint.

Keep in mind this is my first time ever doing so.

Lover's implies a choice is occurring in her mind and she needs to come to choose one or the other, but as the figure in my card at least, she is struggling between which way to go.

The Emperor is the conscious manifest variations of paths she can take, she seems to be greatly stuck in what choices to make.

The Empress is the Catalyst of the Mind, the unconscious occurrences of reality that drive us towards Experiences, she is struggling greatly in making a choice from both the conscious and unconscious aspects of herself, she is plainly put, 'torn over something'.

Then there's the Hierophant, the Significator of the Mind, the actions of this card are primary in that they signify the power one has over life in their choices they make in their mind that reflects the illusion/reality around them.

Chances are if she's not talking to you AT ALL during all of this, she's struggling with telling you something.

I'm interpreting a huge struggle between doing something for her personal self and doing something for you whom she cares enough about to make a major consideration in her choices.

Perhaps call her and ask her to just be honest with you and tell you what's on her mind, try to be openminded and not too hurt if she admits to seriously considering leaving you to focus on herself for whatever reason. In a way, it could be that she'd unhappy with her life and you're slightly or moderately a part of that, in another way it could be that she's just too timid to be honest with you about something.

Wow, thank you for the honest, and in-depth thoughts! She's done this once before where she disappeared, but she came back strong and sweet and affectionate. And last week, she was very sweet when we were texting and when we got together a week ago last saturday as well. So I guess I'm holding out hope.

But your interpretation makes sense, when you look at the fact that looking for a new place or submitting resumes doesn't stop someone from sending a 20 second text, and if you like someone, you want to talk to them.

I'm just so torn, my worry is that if I call her, she won't pick up, just like she hasn't taken the time to text me back. And that maybe I should just give her time to decide...I'm a person of action, and it is very hard for me to just sit and wait.

You don't actually have nearly as much imbalance as others do for your situation, usually an imbalanced red ray causes imbalance across the lower triad, but in your case you've got a mostly minimally balance lower triad.

That's why I call them crybabies on another post; They are right in some of their ideals like caring about yourself, but they seem pretty immature with some other ideals and selfish too.

I do have a question for all those readers. Lately a friend of mine as tipped me off about having visions of myself concerning a lady friend that I have been involved with in the last couple years.

Vision number one: L, lets call her, says something to me in a way that makes me realize everything has been for naught, and it completely breaks my mind. To the point that I wind up in a mental institution. While this has been showing up in a frequent almost nightly occurrence, it has been slowly winding down and lessening. After talking about it with my same friend later on about it, the idea of that future has passed, or something about it has changed due to the warning that was given to me, was replied with that is a distinct possibility.

The second vision given to him he told me about was that L's romantic partner thinking that I have been removed from the picture (because of myself backing off and not speaking to her/texting her back) says something at the wrong time or place, or situation that makes L realize that she shouldn't be involved in such a situation or relationship. A phone call would follow to me, as she vents and apologizes to me for all the horrible things she's done to me over the years.

Kind of a demented little love story that goes on here, kind of reminds me of those drama films with a bunch of trashy symbolism and purpuseful drama.
