The entire west coast, the great plains, the midwest, the northern section of Mexico and huge swathes of Canada are all fucked the moment it goes off. The rest of the world will choke and starve to death as the sun gets blotted out by ash and dust clouds in the atmosphere.

Also, the seismic activity is actually completely normal and is a GOOD sign. The moment the seismic activity stops is when you should be very, very worried. All those earthquakes are the volcano letting off pressure. Releasing pressure ensures that buildup won't occur, which means no eruption.

Normally you would be correct, but in this case maybe not. Earthquake swarms could indicate that magma chambers are being filled, once they are at capacity the magma has no where else to go but up and out. Not good for us. Typically this would be accompanied by ground swelling in the affected region, this swelling began in 2004 and has continued. If it stops we should be good, but the continued presence of earthquakes leads me to believe it won't. Even a minor eruption would be pretty dramatic, but time will tell. Doesn't hurt to prepare in advance as much as possible.
