Does anyone try to follow their totem as a form of divination, or is it disqualified from this conversation by the definition of divination? Like, none of us have one single totem, it's an ever-changing thing and each animal has a different message, gift or warning unique for every individual, right?

So does anyone pay attention to what animals come into their lives in detrimental times of their life? I've recently purchased an oracle deck called Medicine Cards, and they are inspired by the North American Native teachings.
