If reality is the collapse of probability into occurrence, then does that mean that there are an infinite amount of possible worlds occurring outside of our timeline?

we'll never know
but maybe

I think the system might have a correction function designed to cause alternative timelines to merge back into the primary, but I'm talking out of my ass here. Who knows? How could we know? If we figure it out, can we draw infinite energy from it?

i believe there is a multiverse lattice pattern to existence on a macro scale where the different universes are both directly and indirectly connected throughout time space. there's more to my theory but that's the basis.

It's all semantics. If reality is the collapse of probability into occurrence, then a "timeline" is an instance of one such collapse. Whether or not any of them have collapsed in relation to any moment in "our" timeline is a question for quantum theory and, prior to observing the outcome, the most we can say is that they are "possible."
Not happens = not real
