Does anybody here try to incorporate aspects of occultism into their workouts?
More specifically, running?
I find that if I can get into a meditative state (google meditativ running if you haven't been able to accomplish this) I can manipulate my astral self easier than if I'm meditating in a still position. I try to use my astral body to affect the ether (as above so below) and make it easier to run, and I've experienced some success.
Or do /x/philes in general neglect their bodies?
Having a physical body is one of the most powerful ways to exist. If you neglect it, why?

Nah, but you have my attention. I enjoy running as exercise but hadn't thought about two birds with one stone.
I do rituals before the gym for max gains

Actually the opposite. I incorporate exercise into my meditation. I find it easier sometimes to "meditate" while walking than in a dark quiet room. Walking gives my "mind" something to focus on while the rest of me meditates. Parks with few people and straight paths (for walking with eyes closed) are best.
Sometimes I do light meditations while doing cardio to take my mind off the pain.

>he doesn't form a pentagram from creatine and protein powder on the floor to pray to Zyzz, Arnold, Mark Rippetoe, Scoobie
>not making a protein shake to drink as a ritual sacrifice
>not drinking a gallon of milk everyday to thank the gods of /fit/
fucking dyel is what you are
One bump for interest then I'll let it die
