I used to come on this board way back and remember being linked a website that let you listen to old radio waves that were still bouncing around in the atmosphere/space or whatever.
It was great but I can't remember what is was called and would be very grateful to anybody who could let me know if they know what I'm talking about.

idk about old radio waves, but you can cruise the current radio waves on http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/

Are you talking about Number stations?

It was some random website that let you put in a bunch of numbers (coordinates?) and let you listen to anomalous frequencies and signals still reflecting around earth.
I think the name was four random characters like qksb.com or something

Perhaps this very short random letter seeming domain? (software defined radio, is what is stands for)
Is a listing of radios similar to >>19252195 which you can listen to from around the world, usually with location and sometimes coordinates of the receiver given.
These won't be old signals, but you'll hear some strange stuff.
these radio sites are fucking awesome dude. thanks a lot X you did good for once

If you're interested and reasonably computer savvy you can set up your own receiving post at home, so what you get will be local to you.
Google RTL-SDR to get going. It's all pretty cheap and interesting, but I'll leave it there because this is all a bit too /g/ for /x/.
